Dr. Chess is an incredible doctor. He took care of my problem and i feeling lots better now. Awesome personality and his workers have wonderful customer service. I have recommended him to my daughter and some friends and he is worth the travel there. Thank Dr Chess and team members.

Dr. Chess is great, one of my all time favorite Drs. He is very knowledgeable and informative, has a wonderful bedside manner, and is incredibly compassionate, considering I was going through the hardest time in my life while seeing him in his clinic. He performed surgery on my foot and visited me in the hospital after he left his clinic for the day. He says this is his calling, and he certainly answers.

Dr. Chess and his team are extremely competent, confident and professional. I was able to get a same day appointment and the care and compassion were second to none. I am grateful we have such dedicated healthcare professionals in NM.

Dr. Chess is absolutely amazing. I have been going to Dr. Chess for a couple years after moving here from Texas. Dr. Chess not only takes the time to really listen, but he is so engaging in his conversation. The reassurance and the time he takes is so genuine. He is easily one, if not the best doctor, I have ever been to. Of course, I have to include his wonderful staff who are always friendly, polite, courteous and always, each one and every single time, has a smile on their face!

Where do I start my praises for Dr Chess and his team of Amazing ladies!? My husband and I are new to NM, been here for 2 months now, we work for Amazon and travel all across America helping to open new facilities. We work 12 hour shifts and are on our feet the entire time. If you're looking into this Clinic then you must understand our foot and ankle pain, backs hurt as well but you have to Google another Clinic for that. Anyhow, I Googled "foot Dr near me" and a list of clinics came up. The first one I called was so rude I hung up, the 2nd one was booked until Feb. Then Dr Chess' amazing receptionist answered, she was so nice and patient with me, answered all my questions easily, found me a quick appointment date and time, and even showed genuine concern for my pain. I couldn't believelive it. So many times businesses are quick and unconcerned about our problems. They are different. My first visit was easy to find the Clinic, plenty of parking, and a safe area with a pharmacy right next door! When entering the Clinic, I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice they have the waiting area set up and how clean and neat it was. The Team acknowledged me as soon as I entered. They checked me in and got me back to see Dr Chess so quick. I was also xrayed right away, which was so nice to not have to go to another source to have this done. This Clinic is a learning Clinic so the team members are very attentive and ask questions,so I got to really learn about my pain and what was going on. I was treated by Dr Chess. He is very professional, kind and patient. He explained everything to me on a level I could comprehend, so many physicians talk over our heads, not Dr Chess he broke it down and made every step clear. His treatment plan for me and my pain is great and I began to feel better before I walked out. With Amazon I needed a ton of paperwork filled out, Dr Chess' team were so helpful and prompt in getting it done for me. The receptionist, who's name I can't remember at the moment, and that's a shame because she has helped me so much, is wonderful. She sent the documents several times for me without a hint of a problem. Depending on Google to find a good physician is scary. This time I made the right choice and am extremely happy I did. You definitely should go see Dr Chess and his team, from the way I have been treated I can safely say,"You won't be disappointed!" I truly appreciate Dr Chess and his team for their care and services. I recommend a 100 times!

I went to see Mark Tenny for my feet issues. I had a painful bunion on my left foot. He took an x-ray of my foot and said I needed some expensive foot inserts at the time I didn't have the funds for the inserts. Mark sent me on my way. Now my bunion is twice the size and now one is growing on my right foot as well. Come to find out all I really need are inexpensive bunion corrector socks. They help the pain and start to correct the problem. I'm now suffering terribly from these bunions which could have been corrected very easily with the socks. I will not call Mark Dr. as a real Dr would try to correct the issue rather than try to sell you an insert which I told him I already had. Now I have very serious feet issues and am wearing inexpensive bunion socks to help remedy my issue. Why didn't he recommend them in the first place at least mention that there was another way other than expensive inserts. I found Mark to be arrogant and not really compassionate about my painful problem. I would never recommend him to anyone with a foot issue as he is only interested in how much money he can get out of you. Do not trust this man with your feet....

The Dr was so awesome. Very attentive to what you were saying. His assistants were so awesome. Im so glad I went to them.

Dr. Chess and his team run a great practice! I started seeing Dr. Chess when I started having really intense foot pain, it turned out I needed injections in my feet and I was really scared! The Doctor and his team made me feel really comfortable and informed on what was happening, he is also very funny and he intentionally distracted me very well during the injections so I didn't notice them hurt as much. Dr. Chess is a very compassionate and well educated provider and I would recommend him 100%

This is the absolute best clinic in ABQ. I am so very grateful for the kindness I was treated with, the honest opinion from the Dr., The guidance I got from their staff, and overall how fast and easy everything was makes this clinic the only place I want to go to from now on. I highly recommend it and I am happy I found them. Thank you so much!

💞💞💞💞 Dr.Chess is the best foot doctor I have ever had in my life. I have been in pain for around 3 years going from doctor to doctor with no relief. But he, on my first visit fixed my ankle pain. He's a God sent. Please come see him. He will get rid of your pain. I promise.😻 He's kind and listens to what you have to say. His staff is excellent too. Friendly and very kind. Today I received a 5 stars treatment from Dr Chess. I left the office a message on a Sunday morning and Dr. Chess called me in person on the same Sunday afternoon and saw me the next day as an extra appointment in the end of his day. I had a very nasty infection on my big toe caused by an ingrown that required a small surgical procedure. I’m thankful for his care and professionalism. I’ll highly recommend this clinic to everyone. Absolutely a great doctors office. The staff are attentive and Dr. Chess is very knowledgeable and educates very well. I knew exactly what was going to happen with my surgery. I have recommended him many, many times.

Ok I miss a few appointments due to having kids and no baby sitters or them bailing on me and other family realted situations we are only human and sometimes cannot control the situation! Guess it was in the contract I signed if you miss 3 your out! If I would of known I would of tried to take all 3 kiddos, but they don't let kids I was told only 1 so that's not gonna work for me! Really if someone is having some life difficulties and stuff be a little compassionate and think of what the person may have gone thru! Of course after being told this news I got mad and hung up but called back to try to understand and let them know what I have been thru. The receptionist got mad and was rude as ever and hung up on me. I called back to speak to another lady who seemed to be a little more open and not as rude! Sorry but when I met this doctor I was told we are family here and that does not feel like the case! Family would understand someone's situation and help out!! Not this place I got my 3rd and I'm outta here!! Make sure not to miss your appointment and make sure life don't happen cause if it does you might not get to come back.

Doctor is wonderful! Receptionist is very rude and seems like she doesn’t want to be there. Sorry you’re always having a bad day, just don’t take it out on others.

Could not get any help from my primary, called Foot & Ankle saw me immediately the same afternoon, examined me, treated me am totally happy. Thanks to Dr Chess and staff, excellent service and highly recommended.

Dr. Chukwurah and staff are amazing. They helped my foot pain and I’m extremely happy, I would highly recommend this place.

I have a ligament tear in my foot. Dr. Chukwurah misdiagnosed my pain, told me I’d just need to stop running/hiking, and gave me a cortisol injection which may have made the tear worse. I knew something was up because I was in excruciating pain for the first 24 hours after getting the injection, before the cortisol set in. I visited him again a few weeks later to tell him about the pain and about a strange new sensation in my foot and he said it was “probably nothing.” He seemed to only care about treating my symptoms instead of pinpointing the cause. Since then, I’ve seen other doctors for different opinions and a proper diagnosis. One of them said he was baffled that Dr. Chukwurah gave me a cortisol injection for a ligament tear, since cortisol has a corrosive effect on ligaments and can make tears more severe. Now I need surgery. I don’t know if I would’ve needed surgery prior to seeing Dr. Chukwurah or if the injection worsened the tear to the point of needing surgery, but I do know that I’ve had to deal with months of severe pain that could’ve been avoided if Dr. Chukwurah did his due diligence and diagnosed me correctly in the first place.

Very very good, everyone very friendly except the receptionist, they should think about changing it
