Stopped in yesterday. I give the coffee a solid 4 out of 5. The service a 0 out of 5. We could only assume the Barista was having a bad day given her standoffish attitude. We sat down to enjoy our coffee on the nice patio outside. Heard the Barista yelling at another customer as she walked out dont know what that was about but we definitely would recommend this place for the coffee but dont expect decent customer service.

The girl working was not very welcoming at all. My wife and I walked in, and she just looked at us as if we were a bother. She was either having a bad day, or prejudiced against hispanics. Coffee was good, danish was good. I will always leave a tip, but not for her. Treat people with kindness regardless of color, or race. Your day will be much more rewarding.

Nichole was fantastic, Her espresso was as good as Italy’s and her chai was better than Seattle. In addition to being super friendly she is a wealth of information for the area. The shop has very well chosen gifts for sale.

The rudest barista I have ever encountered. I spent $50 in the coffee shop and the barista was so rude, angry and unhinged that I felt physically unsafe. She got our order wrong and I was afraid to go back and tell her so my 75 year old mother went in to exchange the pastry and she said to my mother, “was she too afraid to come back in herself???” I went back in to inquire as to what I had done to offend her and she started YELLING that I needed to GET OUT and actually came from behind the counter and was screaming in my face to leave. I asked for the phone number for the owner/manager and she refused and kept screaming for me to leave. I really hope they have cameras in the shop because no one would believe this happened if they don’t. I have seen SEVERAL reviews from other people complaining about this person but apparently the owner doesn’t want to make a change. I will never be back and I will tell everyone not to go there. Please get this woman some help or find a new worker.

Good coffee. If coming from ABQ be careful driving down 57A, there are crazy potholes. We had a blowout and another had to be replaced

The most lovely coffee shop with breakfast burritos when passing through Madrid. Outdoor seating in central location. There is also a gift shop inside with local goods. This location also has a vacation rental room upstairs which would be so fun to stay in.

Friendly staff, good coffee, and chill seating area. No pups are allowed, though, so you'll have to leave them at home.

It was perfect. We didn't want to leave. It was convenient to be above the cafe. Great coffee and pastries.

My favorite coffee place in Madrid, New Mexico! Don’t know this was also a bed and breakfast. Anyway. Great place to start your day walking around Madrid. I typically grab an iced coffee here and a croissant while passing through. But I’d consider staying here too. I guess. Not sure why said that.

They have a spicy mocha that is to die for. It’s actually spicy! It’s the kind of drink I’d use to convince a friend to move here.
