The atmosphere is really outdated and the food is good but in a pre food revolution kind of way. Nothing really bad to eat here but there is also nothing really good or unique either. This place would have been amazing 10 years ago but for the price there is about a dozen other places in town that are way better.

Came in on New years. The prices here are a bit better than the big name Italian restaurants. They have regular menu and buffet. We chose buffet, It was $30 for the two of us. We ate salad pasta and pizza. Based off of the buffet alone I would come back. It was tasted like it was cooked right from your own home and is very much comfort food. I would give 5 stars but I would need to come again and taste a meal actually cooked for me. I had no complaints personally but I could here the complaints from two other tables saying their server wasnt coming often enough, but we all had the same server and I thought he was fine. We were welcomed and served, and cashed out quickly. Thank you!

I visited today. Being in the industry for over 30 years, I can be very critical. I know what I expect and today those expectations weren't even close. The food mediocre at best the service failed completely. Our waiter didn't even ask if we were interested in any dessert, which we were. At that point it was best to leave. I had been here before and was pleased. Had it been busy I might have understood. Yet there were more employees than patrons upon arrival.

So friendly, helpful and the food is awesome. Large portions so we have plenty of leftovers for later on. You can do the buffet or order off the menu. If you order the buffet you can request pizza combination's. Found this place by accident but it was another lovely find!

I love Mimmos. Their calzones are amazing and worth every penny. However, their website says they’re open and they are not. I’ve been trying to get my hands on one of these delicious meals for months now, yet every time I call it isn’t answered and even when I drive by their lights are off. I will be very disappointed if they don’t open again. But for now, there is no hope regarding the best calzones in town.

My wife and I both ate the fettuccini and my son had the lasagna and his fiance had the spaghetti with meat sauce. We're not from Albuquerque but I must say that we all enjoyed our food. The salads were also included with our meals and were delicious as well. Highly recommended!

Flavorless soggy meatballs, sausage, and pizza. Cold noodles, warm salad and overpriced as hell... ($50 for 3 people is not 1$) Good staff though. Only reason they are getting a 2 star

Great family style Italian. Great calamari. Really good lasagne al forno. Had tender chicken picatta. Affordable real food.

The wait to get our food was not super long, but when we got our plates, they weren't well decorated. My daughter tasted the chicken and immediately got a disgusted look on her face. She also said her food was rather bland and made her sick to her stomach afterwards. My other daughter said that her noodles had a soapy aftertaste and were bittersweet. The restaurant was rather small and only had 5 booths. I wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend it to someone else.

No longer a buffet. It is now Sal's Ristorante. Drove all the way here only to be disappointed. Did not eat here.

I have been here several times in the last year and I have been here now and then for years. I have not had a bad experience with the food or service. The food is very good. The service is fast, polite and professional. I have no problem recommending this Ristorante to anyone. In fact, on occasion I have brought guests from out of town. I really appreciate having a place with good, authentic Italian food that is reasonably priced and I know I'll have a good meal. I have had a few of the pasta dishes and the other night had a bit of a calzone that my wife had ordered. The calzone was excellent. The pizza has a reputation, well deserved, for being great. They have a decent beer and wine list for a small local place. All of it designed to go with the food. So if you are looking for good Italian food or pizza, stay away from a national restaurant,. Come to this local place for much better food and better prices.

Absolutely amazing pizza. Honestly, the best pizza I've had in years!! Stopped here on our trip in ABQ with 3 kids and husband and were pleasantly surprised how good the pizza was. We ordered a large half cheese and half pepperoni. Perfect amount of food to feed us all. Has a mom and pops feel. Definitely recommended.

This place was actually pretty good! I got the buffet which I NEVER get buffets. The food seemed homemade and fresh. So I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. The cheese they use for the salad im not sure what kind it is but it is super good. They have a lot of options from Pizza to salad to pasta with all the different sauces. If you do not want the buffet they have a huge menu offering authentic Italian dishes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting though they do need to update. I will be coming back.

We ordered a combo pizza and a spaghetti. The food is nice and the waiter is very friendly. We can't finish and boxed the pizza.
