The food was amazing and the few employees they had, were friendly and worked as quickly as possible. They are experiencing the same worker shortage as everyone else. Be patient and understanding and you will get great food and service. The cherry margaritas are on point. Very reasonably priced...affordable.

Waited forever to sit and to be served. Do not come here on an empty stomach. Salsa is like red Chile sweetened with something…so we passed on that. Our dinner was delicious though and the server was great considering he was slammed. The mariachis were great and very entertaining. With all the other options for New Mexican dinner in Albuquerque, we won’t be back. I prefer Sadie’s. Place is way too hype!

I spent $101 today for completely nothing! Spent $6.50 for 2 sides of fries for not even a scoop .? Spent $17.50 for two green chili cheese fries that had only a little bit of cheese . Got charged and extra $4.80 for ground beef. Called them let them know they said there’s nothing they can do that I can take back the food and that’s it .? Horrible service never again would I waist my money there never once had this problem eating inside. The burger I ordered got more French fries then any of the meals ! And cheese and chili !

Food was very good service was pretty slow and they weren't even busy. Plus I noticed that there was Food and Trash that they didn't clean up under other booths. But I did notice that by the time we were leaving they Finally Cleaned it up. I Think when the Workers don't have anything to do they need to be MORE Attentive to Customers Needs & Be Cleaning or Doing Something, instead of Socializing.

Food was good. Portions have gotten small. We went at 8pm and there was only one person who was waiting on tables. But she was a pretty good waitresses we didn't have to wait for anything.

Fun environment complete with stellar mariachi band! The servers were incredibly hard working and it’s appreciated. The skinny margaritas with fresh squeezed lemon and lime were perfect. The way a margarita should taste without all the mixer sugar! The food was very good, fresh, flavorful, and plentiful! Really enjoyed the Spicy Shrimp Veracruz! The only thing I would recommend is get rid of the white Christmas lights wrapped around the wood beams. It was far too bright and it distracts from the nice chandler lighting that’s more relaxing. The lighting environment should be lower lit. The lighting really created a more anxious environment that should not feel that way on a Friday evening after sunset,

Okay so it’s Los Cuates and it’s similar to having your first baby… unforgettable . Only like having your first baby it takes patience, some before hand research and did I mention patience? Really good food if you’re into local, northern New Mexico food. Love it !!

My husband ordered some steak meat he ordered it medium rare it cam well done. So he didn't even eat his food. He was not happy we told the waitress about it. She said she would see if we could get a discount on it. We got the check and No discount. My husband is one of those persons that doesn't like to say anything about the food. He says when they take it back they might do something to your food. I agree with him, you can't trust anybody. So I brought it home for my dogs. Make sure your food is correct when they bring it, and do tell that's Not what you ordered and paid for. I also think they were low on help too. Don't know if we'll go back or not.

Short review: Good atmosphere, poor service, and okay food. Longer review: We met with our Sister and Brother in law at Los Cuates to enjoy dinner before a show. We got there and ordered our food within 20 minutes. Unfortunately the food took a while, so we asked the waiter to check on the food. We were told by the waiter oh it's just Friday night you'll need to just wait. The drinks and appetizer came out 30 minutes later, and our food came out 30 minutes after that. We would have been okay, but 1)the portion sizes have been substantially reduced and 2) the food was just okay. Specifically, some of the food meant to be hot was cold, and my fajitas were covered in A-1 sauce. I'm no chef, but fajitas should be meat with veggies grilled up. We will not be returning.

Thier shredded beef burrito portions have gotten so small for the price. The meat was extremely grease, the rice was not cooked well very crunchy. The whole plate was grease. We come to eat every Friday for dinner we enjoyed the food and we always eat the same plate. The last 3 visits have been horrible. The best thing about our experience has been the service. You need to do something about providing the correct portions for the amount you charge as you are cutting back on this and the quality. You have lost a loyal customer with the last meal grease all over the plate couldn't even eat it.

Alex provided excellent service! The tamales were weird but they fixed it right away and brought another meal. The girls at the front are useless. They do not even acknowledge that a customer has come in. The waiter had to acknowledge and seat us (again Alex is great!) The rest of the food was good. The restrooms are clean. We will be back

I already liked a "Los Cuates" at another location, so I was totally down to check this one out! We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and there was a wait, but there were some seats at benches for the 3 of us to sit. Pretty soon we saw mariachis arriving and they started playing. They offered to play something for us and we loved it! They were so nice! The food was really good and so was tje service. It is clear across town from where I live but I might have to start going there from time to time.

I have so much better from one of my past favorite restaurants. I gave it my all even during Covid-19. The waitresses we had, were so nice and sweet, one was in training. They were backed up from seating to getting our food. We didn't complain as I could see the chaos happening. Staff very nice but we had to flag down a guy for some refills while we still waited for our food. Chili Cheese Fries, X-mas, X-Cheese Enchilada plate, 2 kids Cheeseburgers 🍔, w/fries 3 teas and 1 sprite. When I got my plate the Cheese under the melted layer was still cold. They didn't have the garnish for burgers (ordered 1 with/1w-o) Autistic child won't eat if touches. Both came w/o. Husbands had sat under the light to long and had gotten that crunchy texture on the beans. Even the front Hostess also a nice lady, was helping with running tables and seating.. I hope they get staffed up soon and they can start looking back at the FOOD flavor. They closed the Cantina on the Westside as well. Lol...

The waitress was nice. The only reason I rated two stars. The manager said "sometimes the meat is cooked like that" and asked if I wanted something else. I wouldn't be complaining about uncooked ground beef and burnt potatoes if I wanted this meal.

The cheladas are delicious and so is the fiesta platter. The salsa with the chips is super tasty and just the right spice!

Ive visited restaurant many times when I used to live in Albuquerque. I frequented the location on Menaul. I was glad when the put a location at Cottonwood. Today I had the Beef nachos, happy hour margaritas and many a la cart items. Sadly most of the foods tasted so close it was hard to decipher what was what. The taco was served without any garnish like sour cream or cheese. Also a bit shocked and should have called this out. Was charged 4.49 for the Happy hour margaritas vs 3.50 as advertised on the menu. It a simple error that takes money out of customers pockets and they may not even catch it. Staffing was a bit light and did not like the fact that the server was vacuuming and slow to tend to us. After vacuuming I'm not sure if she washed her hands. The other issue was that she was a bit slow on refills and chips. She was nice though as was most of the staff. The restaurant is nice and has a beautiful view of the Sandia peak. Overall as critical as I'm being I enjoy the meal and had plenty to take home.
