The freshest, fastest and nicest wait staff, simply an excellent lunch experience. This place is super busy but the staff was so nice & unhurried and the food, wow!!! Hot, tasty and seasoned perfectly. The chicken flautas came with sour cream, guacamole, salad, rice & beans for less than $10! If you can see the dining room wall, you’ll see they’ve been voted “best of” years in a row. Try them out!

Amazing food at a reasonable price! We ordered two tortas and they were big enough that we both brought home almost half. The service was excellent and the quality of the food was great! Give them I try when you are in the mood for some good Mexican cuisine in a casual atmosphere.

Huge burritos. I get the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito and add hashbrowns and beans, delicious. They have a massive "California burrito" Def a must try!

If you’re ever in Albuquerque and you want Mexican food, you better stop here. This food was was so good. It taste like it was made at someone house verses at a restaurant. The meat was well seasoned. I had a burrito, chicken taco and beef taco. The burrito had so much meat. This food taste incredibly authentic. The women in the kitchen must be from Mexico because it doesn’t taste like TexMex it taste like true authentic Mexican food.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I eat here at least once a week. The staff is super friendly. The food is always good. Real Mexican cuisine. I recommend this place to everyone that lives here and comes to town.

Authentic Mexican food, in the only state in the union with "Mexico" in it's name, is surprisingly challenging to find. This place does a fair job of it. The amosphere is casual and a little loud. I took my food to go, and I enjoyed it a little bit later today in the day. I wasn't disappointed. I will probably go back, and I might actually recommend the place to friends who enjoy Mexican food.

Great local cafe. The pozole is top shelf. Tacos are indeed as delicious as one previous reviewer noted. We were strangers in town but everyone very friendly. Would come here everyday if we lived in the area.

Good. Purchased but only for 2nd time. Not busy. I wish the salsa was spicier. No salsa Verde, or avocado salsa.

Was so excited to try Taqueria Mexico, but the food was truly awful. Everything tasted like old oil and dried oregano. The corn tortillas for the tacos were cold, stale, and damp. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The carne asada was also extremely dry and hard with no flavor beyond oregano. The carne adovada was passable, but only as good as at local NM fast food places, not as flavorful as I’d expect at a real NM or Mexican restaurant. The salsa was basically red chunky water with even more oregano. And they hands down make the worst guacamole and chips I’ve ever had in my life. I just don’t get it. Are all the great reviews for the food at the old location? Did all the real cooks quit? Because this was truly dreadful. I didn’t think it was even possible to make tacos this bad.

This place is a gem. I ordered the fish taco for $10 (Their Friday daily special). We also got tacos ala carte (Al Pastor, Asada, Barbacoa, Lengua, Shrimp, Chicharrones, Carnitas, and Shredded Beef). Every single one was so delicious! The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, I recommend you get a Guava Jarritos (or 3 of them) and order extra limes, salsa and napkins. The tortillas were also the perfect amount of crispy; no joke. Nothing was burnt and everything was seasoned correctly. If you’d like to see videos, feel free to go to my IG @birdyflu03

Those awards on the wall- they deserve all plus more! Don't be fooled, they are no longer on Lomas in that small spot where you ordered outside. They are on Menaul and 4th. More seating but same great service! Wonderful family-owned place! The food is excellent! They have a Cheesecake Factory-type menu! Be prepared for choices! Carne Asada tacos (favorite)

Stopped though and found this gem! For the size of portions compared to prices it’s a steal! We loved it all. Tons of options on the menu. Wait staff is super friendly! California burrito will change your life. It’s massive.. eat here. Eat here often.

Small and the floor needs to be swept more often, and the food was a little slow (25 min wait but it was during lunch rush) However, the severs were very nice and the food was great! Fish tacos were fresh and filled nicely, my sons favorite was the shredded beef taco. I wish they had pineapple for the tacos Al pastor, but overall we were happy and will be back!

Shop local ABQ review-wanna eat where the locals go? This is your place! Best $6.50 breakfast burrito in town, ceviche is some of the best I’ve ever had plus their burger grill is seasoned to perfection!

Worst breakfast burrito I have ever had in Albuquerque. It was loaded with a ton of cheese and thought it was a joke they were playing on me but kids burritos were made the same. I was near by attending graduation ceremony and saw this place on the way so stopped by to grab something quick. Big mistake never go back to this place for sure.

I had the Carne asada torta for 7.50$. It was very tasty and filling. I couldn't finish it. Didn't even touch my fries. It was a very good deal and I would order it again. My friends enjoyed their burritos.

Fast delivery and not to be expected DELICIOUSNESS delivered!!! Hubby and I are kinda picky and this is our first trip to NM... Let me just say; I felt like I cooked!! Everything was wonderfully flavorful and fresh!! Beautiful presentation of food even for delivery!!! Keep it up!!! We rarely finish a To-Go meal, we ate EVERYTHING!!! YUM!!

Ordered beef taco special. Just asked for no onions, however when I got home and opened up there was no cheese or lettuce, only onions and cilantro. Meat was dry and lightly seasoned. Expected better with all the good reviews.

Their staff are cool, friendly, professional. My carne asada tacos were very good, tasty. This is my favorite place to get the best carne asada tacos. They offer a variety of traditional Mexican food, all prepared fresh as ordered. Check it out pretty sure you'll enjoy your food and service.

Staff is friendly which is nice, food is not that good. No salsa verde which is weird for a Mexican restaurant. Chicken burrito is made with plain white chicken without any spices or anything, it’s big enough for one person but ate only half because it wasn’t tasty.

EXCELLENT food and service. I knew when I walked in at lunch time and saw the place packed with locals that I was in the right place to eat. Was in town for 2.5 days and I ate here twice. Fresh food, fresh ingredients and a wide variety of Mexican/New Mexican dishes make this place awesome. As an added benefit the prices are extremely reasonable.
