I love Cracker Barrel and service was great but fryer was broken and the server informed us anything fried would take an extra 15 min to cook. I appreciated him letting us know. Got the Cracker Barrel Sampler; dumplings were mushy and cold; Meatloaf was like sand and just burnt and fell apart; Ham was delicious! They gave me 5 fried apple slices, server forgot my loaded sweet potato and that took forever and you can see the presentation pictured, and I didn’t get my grits. I would understand if they were busy but there was only about 3 other tables.

Stayed overnight in their rear parking lot in our RV, several others there, too. It was very quiet for being close to a major roadway. Ordered take out breakfast in the morning ang everything was perfect - no mistakes and the food was great. Staff was very friendly, excellent stopover.

Very disappointed. Ordered to go online, had to wait an extra 11 minutes past the expected time. They didn't even seem busy at the time. Despite this wait the food still arrived cold?? The cheese on our hash browns had solidified. The scrambled eggs were just egg patties, not scrambled at all.. the pancakes were covered in dirty grill gristle. Just an overall disappointing experience from a place that specializes in breakfast.

GETTING SAT: Came for a noon time lunch. Joined the waitlist online that said about 40mins. Checked in… an hour later we asked about our table and the less than professional hostess assured us they texted our number and called us over the intercom “thirty minutes ago”. This was false. A more professional and probably senior hostess interrupted and stated we’d have the next available table. SERVICE: Our waitress was professional, kind, but also incredibly overwhelmed. Talking to her was stressful because she gave a “hurry up I have more to do” vibe. Despite being overwhelmed and overloaded, service was great. She checked in regularly and was courteous. FOOD: I haven’t been this disappointed in quite sometime. I understand we’re in a pandemic and restaurants are hurting, but there are still standards and minimal expectations. seating: the area we sat had a filthy window seal covered in old food, dust, and discarded plastic wrapping. meal: the okra was stale, the fries tasted as if the grease hadn’t been changed in a timely manner, the chicken was dry, the dipping sauces were about as thick as oatmeal and offered poor tasting flavors (ranch, bbq, honey mustard). Overall- I’d highly recommend you go just about anywhere else. The bad food and dirty seating areas are not worth the good service.

I have gone to Cracker Barrel for 40 years. During that time I have eaten hundreds of cornbread muffins. These were the worst. The picture shows the grease circles from one muffin. The chicken and dumplings should be a dish that CB has perfected by now. It was so watery and flat that I had to send it back. The meatloaf is OK This was the worst meal I've had at a CB in a long time. I got some candy and a Halloween trinket, and I felt better, but the food was poor.

I placed a curbside pickup. I waited the appropriate amount of time, and then headed to the restaurant and checked in. After waiting a very long time, I called the restaurant, and they said they would have my food out. Cue more waiting. Finally someone came to my window and let me know that they were completely out of what I had ordered. Look, I know that happens, it is what it is, but at this point I had been waiting nearly an hour and a half for my food. No one called to let me know (even though I had to give them my number as part of the order) nor came out to my car in all that time of waiting. The girl said, "Well I saw you check in, but then I forgot to ask the kitchen about it." So here I am at this point close to two hours after placing my food, and nothing. This is not the first time I have had to wait a long time for a curbside order, so that is not the problem, but it is letting me wait so long while knowing they didn't have my order that really bothers me. No options were offered either, I had to ask them to refund my card so I could leave.

This was a nice experience. It has a restaurant and old western style type of shop adjacent to the restaurant. The food is reasonable priced. I would say they use quite a bit more salt in their eggs for my liking. Otherwise both my son and I enjoyed it.

Might be my last time ever at a Cracker Barrel. Sat me right in the middle of full tables when there plenty open that weren’t so crowded. Got the peach cobbler for $5.99, it’s tiny and not even warm. In fact parts of the crust and peaches were frozen! AWFUL!!! Took a couple bites and left. Never again!

Ordered breakfast to go and it was completely disgusting. Pieces of bacon were uncooked and flavor was extremely bland. I ordered the loaded hash brown casserole, the entree NOT the side and it is advertised online with green onions and tomatoes. Those were missing and I was given a much smaller portion. The sweet baked potato is advertised with pecans and pecan syrup, those are missing from my potato as well and it’s too salty. They must have hired new cooks and been trained not to pay attention or care for customers, same with the staff. They never answer curbside orders anymore and will be standing at counters talking & laughing, you have to interrupt them to be assisted.

Two factors that made me give this place one star: Bad Service and undercooked food. Bad service; the waitress was not very attentive. We had to repeatedly ask for napkins and silverware. The silverware was dirty (not the waitresses fault). Our waitress also had a bad attitude, when we would ask for something she would walk off without letting us finish our sentence. Undercooked food speaks for itself. We managed and ate around the undercooked food to not bother the moody waitress. All I expect is standard service. I get that waiters and waitresses are under-appreciated, underpaid, and overworked but we (customers) pay for service and are also under-appreciated, underpaid, and overworked.

I was REALLY hoping to have a good experience. Placed order online and checked in online for curbside pick up. Was supposed to be picked up at 8:19. At 8:36 I had to finally call and ask if my order was ready and advised the girl I checked in online and her response was, well if it doesn't work you need to call. Um how do you know if it didn't work if it confirms that I was checked in!! You can't call the customer as a courtesy rather than let their food get cold? Also, if the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken says BROWN GRAVY, please don't smother it with white. That's basic common sense!

First time ever in a CB. Came with my cousin I picked up in TX 🤠 on our way back to my state CA 😪 and he loves this place. He got the 🥩 steak, rare. I got the hamburger steak. Both were good. Levi was our waiter and was super awesome and efficient. I see why my cousin likes it. Its a nice vibe and there are lots of retro sodas and other knick knacks available for purchase. Glad were finally getting one in Bakersfield.

I seldom start a review before I even get my food, but this is a special circumstance. We ordered the Thanksgiving special advertised as “Curb Side Delivery” and have found that description deceptive. They have one line for all pickup orders. All of them. And for some reason they seem to have chosen to not cap the amount of orders they accept. The only reason I can assume this is because I have been in line for around 1 hour and 45 minutes. Judging from the speed of service and quantity of cars in front of me, I am likely destined for 45 minutes to an hour more in the car with my kids. Nobody has communicated anything to us. They just put out a sign saying there is no Turkey. It is hard to over stress the incompetence of this system. There is no point in ordering three days ahead, you will likely not get food. This borders on absurdity. This is defective management, and borderline incompetent planning. Please plan better next year. Please don’t make 100+ families wait 2+ hours for something they preordered. Definitely a major dark spot on the Thanksgiving holiday. Very disappointing. I will never be doing this again, and I will strongly advise no one else does. 2 Stars because the lady on the phone was nice and because nobody reads 1 star reviews. (Didn’t make it. Screaming toddlers broke us. It didn’t take 45 more minutes, it took 2 hours. 3 hours and 45 minutes. Shameful. No clue if they were indeed out of food. At least we got a refund that we will receive in 4 days. A timeline which seems weirdly appropriate. @management - Please enjoy the hours of our family holiday that you actually stole. Be better)

We’ve been to a lot of Cracker Barrel’s, this location has been our best experience! Our server Conchita was so lovely and provided top notch service, our coffee cups were never empty. Thank you so much!

Terrible experience, waited for over 45 minutes to be seated after being told it was a 10 minute wait. The "employee" who was supposed to seat us keep giving patrons the excuse that "it was not his job and he doesn't walk from his podium. During this time I watched multiple employees walk around clueless not helping customers. Once I was finally seated, the tables were unclean and trash was under my table. Now lets get to the serving part of the experience....I ordered a water and got a half filled glass with smudges on the rim, it then took over 45 minutes to get my food of which my order was incorrect and cold...very unprofessional...every single part of eating at this Craker Barrel was an awful experience.

Despite the staffing shortage, my party and I were texted fairly quickly that our table was ready. Aisha, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. After ordering our food, we were informed that they hired new cooks and certain menu items had changed. As it was my first experience at a Cracker Barrel and the new cook situation, I was a little disappointed in the way the grits and catfish were cooked (grits were hard soupy and undercooked and catchfish could have been seasoned more and fried a little longer for more crispiness). I decided to try other items like the biscuit beignets and the hashbrown casserole tots which were much better. I'd come back and maybe try a different location in the future, all in all not a bad diner experience.

Had breakfast before getting on the road. Service was ok but food was meh. Hash brown casserole was cold when brought out and the biscuits were just sad.

Great friendly place to park your RV. I tow a 42ft 5th Wheel. No problem, maneuvering. I didn't realize that Cracker Barrel does this. They have a few RV spots but will accommodate anyone. Thank you. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy a meal this time but I'm sure the restaurant has a high rating.

This was my first time to Cracker Barrel and I will not be back. The experience started with the hostess (Brenda) having no social skills and barely saying a word to us except that the wait will be 20 minutes after having reserved online and already waiting half an hour. She then escorted us to our table and chucked our menus on the table. Our waitress then came out and was helpful, she got our drinks which was coke... well not really coke the syrup had run out which I explained and was delivered another glass of brown coloured soda water which was supposed to be coke. The waitress then delivered biscuits to our table with no butter just milk, Am I supposed to churn it myself ?? Neither my wife or I got offered a refill of our drink even though they were both empty for the majority of the meal. 2 stars for the meal itself it was the only redeeming quality.

It was okay. Service was really slow, even though the place was mostly empty. Food was what you’d expect from Cracker Barrel, except they only gave my wife like 5 fries … we had to ask for more, which they provided.

Didn't go here to eat but only because I was interested on getting a gift before catching my flight back home. The staff was AMAZING!! The item I was interested in didn't have any in stock but I was able to purchase the display and the lovely lady got the sku # to make that happen which was Great also, because it was a last minute buy and I would've missed the opportunity to get it of I waited for the shipment to come in, plus I did get 2 more gifts I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the extra help. Thank you all very much!!

First visit to a Cracker Barrel. Really enjoy the atmosphere and the gift shop. The service was excellent. Our food had a wonderful flavor but it was luke warm. We will give the chain another chance as we loved the variety of foods available.

Great food, the place was packed! Noisy! We waited 15 minutes. I had grilled chicken tenders, green beans, mac and cheese, biscuits, tea. I'll get the fried chicken tenders next time.

We’ve always had good service at Cracker Barrel in general. Not bad but not over the top outstanding. Just normal and we leave happy! But today we got a server named Amanda and it was exceptional service. I felt like I was at a 5 star restaurant! Truly went the extra mile. The coolest feeling because my bill was only $35. I usually have to spend $200 or more at a restaurant to receive service like that. So impressed and I will be asking for her anytime I go to this location!

Absolutely love this location. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The couple times we had staff complaints, they problems were quickly addressed by a manager on duty. The store is well stocked. Food is delicious. Bathroom, store, and dining area are kept very clean. On nice days you can relax in a rocker outside while waiting for your table. They do offer getting on a wait list online as well.
