Homespun
feel,
quality
food!
Vic's
daily
Cafe
was
at
just
what
I
hoped
for,
a
local
diner
with
a
delightful
Homespun
feel,
but
with
professional
high
quality
food.
I
got
eggs
benedict
oh,
and
my
wife
had
almond
crusted
French
toast
with
a
lemon
curd.
Both
were
fantastic!
See
photos
below.
They
were
busy,
but
they
have
enough
space
that
they
could
seat
us
in
a
very
reasonable
amount
of
time.
I
think
we
may
have
waited
5
or
10
minutes.
Considering
that
they
had
a
lot
of
traffic
at
that
time,
they
did
a
great
job
of
getting
us
to
a
table.
Our
waitress
was
very
cheerful,
very
helpful,
and
seemed
genuinely
excited
to
see
us
there.
That
was
nice.
It
made
us
feel
right
at
home.
The
eggs
Benedict
was
a
delight.
It
had
a
thick
slice
of
ham
instead
of
Canadian
bacon
which
I
like.
Also,
the
eggs
were
poached
pretty
well,
if
only
slightly
overdone.
That
didn't
detract
from
the
meal
at
all.
They
also
have
a
crab
benedict
that
seems
to
be
the
favorite
for
this
restaurant.
I
wanted
to
try
the
classic,
and
I'm
glad
I
did.
It's
one
of
my
favorites.
And,
they
did
a
great
job
of
it.
It
was
a
real
winner.
My
wife
got
almond
crusted
French
toast
with
lemon
curd,
and
it
was
inspired.
Covered
in
fresh
fruits,
this
French
toast
didn't
need
any
syrup
and
had
a
light
dusting
of
powdered
sugar
to
add
a
little
sweetness.
It
went
well
with
the
tart
sweet
lemon
curd
that
was
in
the
center
of
the
plate.
Of
course,
there
was
coffee.
It
was
good.
I'd
say
it
was
diner
coffee
as
opposed
to
Coffee
House
Coffee,
but
I
drink
3
cups
of
it.
It
was
exactly
what
I
needed
to
pair
with
this
meal.
I
mentioned
wait
staff
already,
but
I'll
talk
about
them
again.
Everyone
I
interacted
with
was
extremely
polite,
and
seemed
genuinely
interested
in
making
sure
that
I
had
a
great
meal.
I
can't
wait
to
go
back!
I'd
like
to
bring
my
adult
children
and
have
a
multi-family
breakfast,
or
brunch
there
soon.
Next
time
I
go
back,
I'd
like
to
try
the
corn
beef
hash.
That's
another
classic
that
seems
to
be
one
of
this
restaurants
go
to
meals.
We
also
saw
several
people
order
chicken
fried
steak
and
eggs.
That
looked
so
good!
I'd
love
to
try
that.
And
we
saw
a
lot
of
people
order
what
I
think
was
Navajo
rancheros.
It
looks
like
huevos
rancheros,
but
instead
of
tortillas
it
was
on
fry
bread.
I
don't
think
you
could
strike
out
with
any
of
these
meals.
Five
stars
for
Vic's!
