Nice park with trails up the foothills and along the diversion channel, bring a warm jacket for the wind. Two playgrounds and covered seating near by to watch the kids. Huge grass area with trees on north and south sides, gorgeous mountain view and a native plant garden to check out. Great starting point for a bike ride in the foothills.

Very beautiful park. Easy to walk around and is very well kept. It's nice to see people walking around with their dogs. If you have small kids, there is also a nice play area for your little ones. Swings, teeter tooters and jungle gyms to name a few.

The play area says for 2 to 5 year olds. But BEWARE of bullies from Eldorado High School. We encountered 2 males and two female teens (during school hours) that were blocking the young toddlers from playing on the equipment, cussing and being disrespectful. We had to leave with my granddaughter crying as they would not get off the equipment. No respect.

This is a big, beautiful park with lots of grass and trees. It's quiet, and peaceful and a great place to bring the family for any occasion. There is also a nice little playground and a decent hiking trail. Just watch out for cactus! Definitely a good place if you just want to be out on a nice day and enjoy some beautiful Albuquerque skies. 😁

This park is beautiful. It had green grass, lots of open space, and trees for shade. It felt very safe and a great place for gatherings. The only things it did not have was trash bins, bbq pits and bathrooms. Other than that I highly suggest.

Great park for kids. The tire swing and the seasaw are unique to the area. It has a large field and a great sidewalk around it for doing walks. Plus there is a little walking path that has plants native to the area. My fav park in abq.

My 2nd favorite park. Tennis courts, basketball court, playground, seats, and lots of shade parts to sit on. Dog friendly, but keep doggies on a leash b/c dog friendly doesn't mean they always want to be friends that day.

This park is honestly a gem. I love coming here between classes at CNM to eat, do homework, walk around or just enjoy the sun and the beautiful view of the mountains. People here are friendly and parking is never an issue.

A really large nice park nestled close to the Sandias. Plenty of people there walking their pets and relaxing. Perfect spot for a little picnic. Trees keep it shady while the middle area leaves plenty of room for activities. Will visit again soon.

This is a great place to bring kids! The playground is small, but has the basics: slides, swings, and climbing. There's even a tire swing for the kids to have fun on. There's a large field that is used for sports and lounging. Plenty of walking trails and sidewalks that are popular for walking dogs, with dog waste stations. There aren't public restrooms or a dog park here, so if you need these in a park, I recommend going to North Domingo Baca Park.

I live right across the street from this park. It's a beautiful park. Lots of trees and the grass is well maintained. There is a play area for kids. The only drawback is there isn't any water fountains.

I personally I like this park. The large soccer fields are good when open but expect to sometimes contend with local soccer kids. The playground is nice and has a 2-5 area (if a small one) and a 5-12 area. I like it being next to a larger undeveloped hiking area. There are some broken and worn prices of playground equipment, although nothing dangerous or critical to playground operation. I would say 4.5 stars but that ain't an option so on balance it wins a top rating.

The view in this park is truly flawless. I feel as though I couldn't ever be upset while at the El Oso Grande Park. While I was there last, I got to enjoy some light percussion from a lovely little drum circle event. It was beautiful

Large, roomy Park. A jungle gym in the west end of the park. Only a couple picnic tables there. Many benches along the edges of the park. I saw many people walking their dogs, only two people letting their dogs run free with out leaders. One did not clean up after their pet.

Beautiful park. Lots of open space, playground for kids, and lots of trees. There's also a pollinator garden you can stroll through. The bike path on the south side runs from Juan Tabo along the park down to Morris. Walking path surrounds the whole park. Great place to walk your dogs (on leash, of course). Each lap around the park is ~1/2 a mile. You can walk up the hill on the east side of the park and watch the sunset & see the city lights. Also gives a great view of the Sandias from the top of the hill. If you play Pokémon Go, there's 3 Gyms & 10-12 Pokestops at this park.

This park is perfect for outdoors fun. Golf course, walk and running paths that goes for miles, Bike path that connects with other paths that goes around the whole city. Basketball and Tennis's Courts. But the coolest part is The park is a massive place to hold lots of soccer games for all ages. Then when soccer isn't been played it' conforms into the coolest dog park ever.Great Location.

Albuquerque has many parks but this one is a GEM. Lots of folks walking their dog and even a cat once. Many walking and running, a bycicle on occasion. The park is so big that it never seems crowded. Very nice play area for little ones as well
