First thing, make sure you take a video of the room when 1st walking in and as you're leaving. I didn't and now they're charging me for 2 pillows that were never taken from the establishment. I asked them to see the cameras and there they will see nothing was taken from the room. I've never had to think about doing inventory of a room before this, but now I will. Front desk receptionists were welcoming and friendly. Room was clean but bathroom does need some updates. Tub needs some non-slip strips. The pool was warm and clean. I'd be careful with staying here though. They can easily do to you what they did to me. Adding charges to your card just cause they can easily say there are items missing from the room.

Learned a $77 mistake when booking this room at Days Inn. Read the reviews before booking!! Took two steps in the room and told my wife that this will never work. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. Went to the office and told the clerk that the room reeked of cigarette smoke. We asked if she had another room because that one smelled so bad. We told the clerk we have an 11 year old boy that has asthma and the smoke really irritates his breathing. She informed us that they were booked and did not have an available room. We asked her for a refund so we could go get a room else where. She told us we would have to contact the third party where we book the room from. We told her we could not stay there because of our son and left the key cards on the counter and left. We went across the interstate and booked a room at the La Quinta. While I was waiting to get checked in I saw on my online credit card that she still charged me 100.00 deposit at the Days Inn. I called her and asked her why she had charged me a deposit when we are not even staying there. She told me she would reverse the charges. I then called the third party that I used to book the room and they said they did not bill me it would have to be done with the Days Inn. So I thought I would just deal with it when I got home. I got home and messaged the Days Inn office. They I guess forwarded the complaint to the hotel manager. Explained to her my problem via email. She said it was indeed a non smoking room. When asked about the smoke smell in the room the manager told “well it is because it comes through the AC unit”. How can you claim it is a smoke free room?? She informed me she would not be giving me a refund because we did not let them know we were checking out. When in fact we told them twice we would not be staying there. You don’t have to take my word for it just read the reviews. They speak for them self!!

Upon arrival my wife and dad went to go check in and the person working was nice. My dad left and the guy proceeded to tell my wife that he would trade her number for the key. When she said no, he said your husband doesn't got to know anything. Once checked in the room was trashed with wall paper hanging and nail strips sticking out of the floor. There was fighting outside til 2am. Worst hotel experience ever. Spend the money and get something decent if you want to sleep. No place for children. Complete lack of professionalism. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Rooms were clean and the staff was amazing. The GM had a great team which speaks of her management skills. The housekeepers work their tails off and have to put up with some real rude people. They managed to be courteous and polite and very attentive

The customer service was good, we got upgraded to a king suite. Very affordable. Sadly the room was gross. The floors were dirty, the drains were clogged, there was a heavily stained couch, and the room was generally run down. We will probably not be using Days Inn in the future.

I've booked a room here several times; the service has been very good and kind. The rooms are clean and for the rate, a very good value. I only had one small incident and when I expressed it to the help desk, it was received well and taken care of immediately. The location is close to the freeway, gas stations, restaurants, and stores so it's not hard to get anything you may need while visiting. Coming from an IHG Platinum Elite member, overall I have been very pleased with this small hotel.

I gave this hotel a 2 star instead of 1 because the employees are very pleasant, kind, and very friendly, thank you for that. We paid for fri and sat but couldn't stay sat. Upon arrival it looked nice but going up the stairs was frightening. Cracked broken and dirty. The door to the room was dirty. I knew right then it was not so nice. We all wore shoes because the floor was dirty. To take a shower we laid a towel inside the tub. It was just awful, old and discolored. We just couldn't stay for the sake of our granddaughter. We couldn't get a refund .

Stayed here last night. I booked my room here a couple days in advance, non-smoking room. The room I was given had clearly been smoked in. When addressing the issue with representative at the desk, I was informed that there were no other non-smoking rooms available and it was that or nothing. I dropped the issue, went back to the room. After being there a couple hours it became clear that the room was infested with some kind of miniature flies. They were especially concentrated in the bathroom where it appeared there had been water damage in the past. Looked kinda like they had “remodeled” over it but never addressed the core issue. Lacking another option, I stayed the night and left early the next day.

The new rooms in this motel are amazing. They have updated everything so that you have access to a charger port or plug at you reach just about everywhere in the room. The beds are super comfortable and the towels are clean and fresh and a very generous size!!!!

I wish I could give this place a zero. It is rundown and filthy. We only stayed one night but that was more than enough. The rooms are falling apart. The showers are dirty and old, the sofa bed mattress had a lot of questionable stains and the springs were falling off of it. Our toilet did not work properly and clogged. The doors would not lock well. You could tell someone had forced the door open previously. I would not ever stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. So disappointed!

Nice place to stay when passing through. The room was clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed amd pillow- which was all I cared about... well done! We woke up to a full sky of hot air balloons, so that was really cool to see so many of them flying by! Beautiful touch!

For the price, you can't beat it. If you are looking for a good value and decent night's rest on the road, this is it. Laundry services, and basic fitness facilities on site. Pool was decent as well. Again, this is 5 stars compared with the price you pay. It's a good 3 star motel. Fridge and microwave included, with snack provided by management, as well as breakfast in the morning. Nothing over the top, but no disappointments for what I paid.

Room clean except for floor which was not. Toilet needed more cleaning. Bed comfortable with lots of pillows. Pool very warm but a bit cloudy with many leaves in it. Cable television out for 10+ hours of our 2 day stay

We booked this room because of its great reviews. The rooms and hotel itself were very well kept. And the pool is outdoors and perfect. We had an issue with the security and some other guests. The general manager Dani jumped straight into action and corrected the issue. Her and her staff went above and beyond to make it right. We will definitely be back.

The worst Days Inn I have ever stayed at. The room was in total disrepair. Huge holes on the doors were they had pulled all the locks and not put new ones on, making me feel very insecure inside my room. The bathtub had been resealed, and the old sealed finish, was chipping off in multiple places in huge spots. the bottom of the door was very dirty like it had not been cleaned in weeks. There were holes in the wall from where the door had hit the wall without a doorstop. When I brought this up to management, they basically shrugged her shoulders and said well there are a lot of rooms that need the tubs repaired. We just don’t know which ones. To which I countered and said, housekeeping is in every room over the course of the week they could make that list and get it to you. This room should not be in service. Basically management doesn’t care they didn’t offer to discount me or comp me anything on my room not that I asked for it. I did show them pictures of the damages in the room.

Well the elevator was on the outside of the building around the back, so it didn't seem too safe at 11 00 p.m.. The water in the pool was green, so that was a big turn off. The room seemed clean enough, however the tub must have been the original tub. This hotel needs major updating. The clerk at the counter was nice and helpful.

My personal experience at days inn was not that great, some off the staff are very unprofessional from their personal presentation as front desk attendant not to mention the fact that they use slur language when guests are present in the lobby. We requested several times for our room to be cleaned and appearantly they never passed on the message to the janitorial staff. The only good thing about this trip was the discount given to the company by the manager which we greatly appreciate. Also the breakfast lady is very kind and helps the guests showing them how to use the waffle machine and restocking the yogurts.

While this was a good and cheap place to stay on a quick back to school shopping trip for my daughter, the room updates could have been more complete. I didn’t feel completely safe where we stayed but it wasn’t horrible. The pool is much smaller than it looks online but it was not the reason we stayed here either.

The staff was hit and miss with friendliness. The breakfast had waffles, bagels, toast cereal, fruit, and yogurts. The room needed help with maintenance like painting and ventilation in the bathroom. I hated that people were not allowed to smoke in the rooms so they stood outside the door and smoked. The air-conditioning sucked all that smoke right into the room. Our room smelled like pot so badly, the smell did go away but did came back. That is when I realized it was also coming through the bathroom fan/vent. But the fan did not work so there was nothing I could do about it. The tub had a dirty black ring in it and the overall dusty. The sheets and towels were clean. Ok for the price.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for business, off and on for a while now; literally the only hotel I come to. Stayed in multiple rooms at this location and they’re all decent rooms for the price. Yea, the bathrooms havnt been remodeled like the bedroom/sink area, and sometimes they don’t take care of the pool, but for the quality/price. You can’t beat it. Just don’t try going to that Laquinta next door, smells like piss down the hallways and the carpet hasn’t been changed since the 80s. You’re welcome

The dirtiest room I have ever stayed in!!! Furniture was stained along with the bedding. Fortunate I had blanket in my truck. Slept on top of bedding. The room smelled like smoke and was very stinky! Bathroom had mold on ceiling . I will never stay at a Days Inn again. For $134.00 a night should get more.

For $78 plus tax and deposit I was disappointed. My bathroom was drywall with no paint. There were leaks in the ceiling, huge gap under the door and the room smelled like vomit. The only reason this didn’t get zero stars is because the bed was half decent. Not coming back though.

Good location is easy to find from the freeways. The staff is friendly and helpful. There was no hot water on our 1st day, but they fixed the issue quickly that same day. The rooms were very clean and have great air conditioning and comfortable beds and value. Good location for a quick stay passing through.

The rooms are what you expect from a cheap hotel. clean enough. The internet was terrible. But the worst part was that the staff that I encountered for both check-in and check-out were not wearing maskis during the height of the omicron/covid surge. One employee even decided he should share the reasons why he felt he didn't need to wear a mask. I never asked. I wouldn't have stayed there, but it was late and I needed a place. But I don't plan to return.

Beds are kind of high but comfortable. Toilet in the bathroom is very low so if you're disabled it could be an issue. Otherwise it was a good place to stay.

Driving up the hotel seems fine. The lobby was clean and the desk girl was nice. However, the bathroom was so filthy there were other peoples hair all over the floor. Cup rings on all the tables. Obviously this place was not cleaned in a long time. The worst part was that there was a bullet hole in my window. Walking in looking at the bed I saw right away a huge dark stain on the mattress that looked like blood, they just turned over the mattress and then didn’t even properly cover the thing with the sheet. It was the creepiest and nastiest place I have ever stayed!!

Super surprised how good this place was for Being short staffed they rocked it. Breakfast was a little scarce and the cleaning staff was hard to communicate with and a little lazy some days. Front desk was great rooms were clean and comfortable beds laundry room and fitness room were nice. The place was quite at night over all nice stay

Very good location...desk clerk gave my 78 year old wife a 3rd floor, up the stairs, with elevator on the far side of our room farther than the stairs walk. The room appeared clean with something you don't often see, no carpet, yea! My wife wanted a bath after a 400 mile drive but the tub didn't have a drain plug, we found it on a shelf above the tub. She turned on the water and without the drain plug in the water started filling the tub. The drain was clogged so she turned off the water to let the couple of inches of water drain out. Then she showered. I went to the sink to wash my hands and brush my teeth. There wasn't a drain plug for the sink but it was clogged as well. Filling with some nasty black crud out of the drain. I would say the housekeeping crew had to have known those drains were clogged. Both sink and tub didn't drain from the moment the water was turned on. No good! I did let the front dest know that night. He said he would get maintenance up to our room at 8AM. I asked him to wait until we checked out....please!

** DO NOT BOOK ** super unprofessional. I had multiple incidents…. We got locked out of our room, we asked them if we can get new keys and the guy at the front desk didnt know how to recharge them and ended up breaking the new keys he handed us and gave us keys to another room for that night… we had none of our belongings and they gave us 10% off for that night smh … As it was time for check out we noticed we left a couple things to only find out that they so called “threw everything” and its not there responsibility. The manager had a attitude and couldnt give me the number to corporate. WHOLE BUNCH OF IMMATURES

Our first room given to us had no electricity, and no heat and it was the only room with a king-size bed. We asked for another room after 30 minutes of trying to find the "pedal-switch" to activate the lights and they gave us another room, one with a double queen bed because they were out of king-size beds, however when we got to the room we were extremely disappointed to find two double beds! They were not Queen beds. This room had stained walls, dirty showers, peeling paint in the bathroom, and brown stains on the sheets. The breakfast was OK, considering the room we had. I was pleased with the security guard they had on duty but we will not be returning to this hotel. They definitely need to remodel the rooms and upgrade their appliances.

We stayed in room 217. We had to go up two short flights of stairs, then to middle of motel. Was extremely noisy, banging, stomping, at one point someone hit the wall so hard that I jumped. It was a smoking room but there is no ventilation for bathroom or room, and window does not open. Poor water pressure. The cart they push around to clean the room sounds like a jet taking off or a semi truck going by. The coffee was good, packaged. No smart TV, just regular channels. The bedding was clean, pillows tiny. Very retro 60's vibe room. No good views. I would not stay here again, nor recommend it.

Spent a night, with my family, at this Day's Inn this past summer on my way to the West Coast. The room (non-smoking) that we got was extremely filthy, had a distinctly pungent smell, the carpet was stained, the mattresses were squeaking, and the bathroom was immensely dirty with hair in the bathtub and gross looking toilet. We even went to the reception asking them if our room can be switched, but they literally lied to our face saying that they are full. The reason I say that they lied is because their parking lot, at around 11 PM, was almost empty and neither did we see any lights on in any of the rooms nor any people on any of the floors on our side of the building. Knowing that we had no option, we somehow slept for a few hours on those squeaking mattresses, mostly because we all were quite exhausted after a long day of travel. This place was so pathetic that that none of us felt like using any of their stuff (except the ones that we couldn’t do without) and left the place at the first light of dawn without any of us showering. Being a traveler (have driven across 43 States so far), I have stayed at a lot of places (hotels / motels / inns / air bnbs) around the country and have to say that this place was the WORST; not even ONE thing was of a “decent” standard over here. If you are passing by Albuquerque and don’t find any other place to spend your night at, then my suggestion would be that you spend the night in your car/truck rather than checking-in at this place. ####################################################### *Edited after the response from the owner* Thank you for your response. Based on it, I can very well say that it must have been before it came under the new management. I remember, during our stay, one section of the parking lot was being repaved. I am glad to know that the new management has invested a lot in revamping this place. During my next visit / stopover to Albuquerque, I would, most likely, would stop at this place again. Again, your response is much appreciate and I wish you all the very best for your business, especially this coming holiday season. #######################################################

Non-smoking room heavily smelled like smoke. Room was dirty and A/C was not working. Only plus was the customer service. Front desk clerks were kind and understanding when I cancelled my booking after arriving and seeing the room.

Do not stay here, find another place. We stayed here for the balloon festival 2022 and got a room on the back side opposite of the check in desk. The room was a dump, there were two cars without wheels in the stalls outside my room. The room next door appeared to have someone living in it and her man wan working on his wrecked motorcycle most of the night near the stairwell. I am shocked that people have given this hotel a good rating. The hot breakfast was a lie, it was garbage. Would never stay here again

Great value for the price, the building does show its age a little, but not super run down, everything I needed/wanted was provided although the pool was closed. They were very lax on the mask mandates which I like. The staff was alright, they had a security guard so you don't have to worry about unwanted activity in the parking lot. The breakfast was great, the WIFI was decent, they provide a laundry room and a workout room. The workout room just had 3 machines but if you are a huge gym rat and have to get your exercise on vacation at least you got something. I would say for what I needed was just a one night of sleep because I was on a road trip it provided the sufficient amenities. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because I think the room quality had some room for improvement because it smelled kind of funny and it could be modernized a bit.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Air conditioning unit rattled loudly all night long. They also charged me $100 incidental deposit which still hasn't fallen off many days after my stay. Might have to file a claim with my bank soon. Overall worth the price and you can't complain much for under $80 a night.

The guy kept a smirk on his face as he stated our reservation was canceled. We were paying in cash, its fine he didn't want to accept cash. But to steadily smirk like its funny isn't so great. And guess what, the hotel next door gladly took us with the cash. What's even funnier is the lady in front of us also had her reservation canceled too. They also gladly gave her a room. Think twice before booking here. Its the horrible demeanor of said supervisor that'll bring this place down.
