Learned
a
$77
mistake
when
booking
this
room
at
Days
Inn.
Read
the
reviews
before
booking!!
Took
two
steps
in
the
room
and
told
my
wife
that
this
will
never
work.
The
room
reeked
of
cigarette
smoke.
Went
to
the
office
and
told
the
clerk
that
the
room
reeked
of
cigarette
smoke.
We
asked
if
she
had
another
room
because
that
one
smelled
so
bad.
We
told
the
clerk
we
have
an
11
year
old
boy
that
has
asthma
and
the
smoke
really
irritates
his
breathing.
She
informed
us
that
they
were
booked
and
did
not
have
an
available
room.
We
asked
her
for
a
refund
so
we
could
go
get
a
room
else
where.
She
told
us
we
would
have
to
contact
the
third
party
where
we
book
the
room
from.
We
told
her
we
could
not
stay
there
because
of
our
son
and
left
the
key
cards
on
the
counter
and
left.
We
went
across
the
interstate
and
booked
a
room
at
the
La
Quinta.
While
I
was
waiting
to
get
checked
in
I
saw
on
my
online
credit
card
that
she
still
charged
me
100.00
deposit
at
the
Days
Inn.
I
called
her
and
asked
her
why
she
had
charged
me
a
deposit
when
we
are
not
even
staying
there.
She
told
me
she
would
reverse
the
charges.
I
then
called
the
third
party
that
I
used
to
book
the
room
and
they
said
they
did
not
bill
me
it
would
have
to
be
done
with
the
Days
Inn.
So
I
thought
I
would
just
deal
with
it
when
I
got
home.
I
got
home
and
messaged
the
Days
Inn
office.
They
I
guess
forwarded
the
complaint
to
the
hotel
manager.
Explained
to
her
my
problem
via
email.
She
said
it
was
indeed
a
non
smoking
room.
When
asked
about
the
smoke
smell
in
the
room
the
manager
told
“well
it
is
because
it
comes
through
the
AC
unit”.
How
can
you
claim
it
is
a
smoke
free
room??
She
informed
me
she
would
not
be
giving
me
a
refund
because
we
did
not
let
them
know
we
were
checking
out.
When
in
fact
we
told
them
twice
we
would
not
be
staying
there.
You
don’t
have
to
take
my
word
for
it
just
read
the
reviews.
They
speak
for
them
self!!
