My mother stayed at the hotel for over a week. On December 25, 2022 she left her room at 10am. When she returned at 3:30pm she notice 2 of her bracelets were missing from her room. She called the front desk and was told due to it being Christmas there was no manager on site. Was instructed to call back the next day and speak with General manager. Went to the hotel on 12/26/2022 to speak with Shannon Walker. Was told that she did see housekeeping went into my Mother's room after she had left. Was told that her staff have never stolen and basically my mother is a liar. Was told she would email me the complaint department phone number. Never received that email. I was forwarded on to Risk management. Received email 1/3/2023 case was closed because he spoke to hotel staff and could not locate the bracelets. Again implied that my mom is a liar because they can not locate her property. Called special complaint number again today and was told yet again the case was closed. It is being swept under the rug to protect their staff not the clientele. Filed a police report and nothing has come of it. I am being told to get the compensation I have to continue to talk to Risk Management. My mother's case continues to be closed without any call backs. They will not help get her property or pay for the lost items.

Oh how we loved this hotel!! My son had eye surgery at Coleman Vision (within walking distance) and we stayed here afterwards. Kind and professional staff greeted us and provided a quiet room for rest and healing. Delicious dinner and quiet rest in a clean and inviting room. Cozy corners available within the lobby/bistro area. Snowing as we checked in and throughout the night. The next morning we awoke to a weather induced two hour delay within the city. Breakfast was weather delayed due to low number personnel on site. Bryant (at the front desk) greeted us to inform of delay. Within seconds, Bryant jumped to the occasion to provide five star service to coffee and food deprived guests. Bryant began taking orders, apologizing profusely for the delay while multi-tasking in the heat of a “snow delayed” morning. All guests were greeted with a “can-do” attitude as Bryant wore many hats to accommodate all needs and desires. Thank you so much!!!

Newly remodeled in old school New Mexico style, this hotel is a gem. Very pleasant experience with front desk employee and Manager who helped with copying and faxing some last minute legal documents. Well done! Thank you! I will be back!

I occasionally go to Albuquerque to have a few German vehicles serviced at the dealership - a 3.5 hour drive from out little mountain town. On this last trip I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard. Overall impressions: The hotel needs a serious 7-figures of work. It has been rode hard and put away wet. The staff was super nice. However the physical plant is pretty beat. My room stank of stale cigarette smoke. This is on ownership. I am sure that staff is doing everything that they can. My bill showed $300 for the night. The value proposition just doesn't line up. If you can get this hotel for under $125 / night that would make it an OK value.

Stayed here with my husband and it was great!! Service was excellent, room was clean and comfy. Jasmine is the best, so sweet! She made sure I had everything to enjoy my stay 🥰 I felt so welcomed, definitely would recommend to a friend on the road 😄

Everything about my room was comfortable and clean! The construction down stairs was never an inconvenience either. The hotel was even providing a dinner option in the evenings still, and some amount of breakfast options in the mornings. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is cute but it smelt like straight DANK in the hallways. Everyone has there habits but smoking inside of a hotel to where it makes the rooms and hall reek of weed isn’t really welcoming. They also need to hire more help at the Starbucks cafe downstairs because the girl was all by herself while her manager just stood there and stared at her.

Dirty rooms. They have vinyl floors that look good but the bottom of your feet turn black when you walk on them. We picked up everything off the floor and asked if the room could mopped. We still got black soles on our barefeet just not as quickly. The pool was green and so cloudy you could not see through it. Just really disappointed. The AC growled every few minutes. The baseboards and wall mounted light fixtures were covered in dust. There were water stains in the bathtub and toilet. A piece of trim was just hanging off the wall. Overall not worth the money. I hated that dirty floor. Just gross.

We booked a reservation here for 3 nights during Thanksgiving. It was very reasonably priced, and a great location. We were very impressed by the ambiance at the check-in area. We were grateful that there were staff available on Thanksgiving to serve breakfast, though we didn't partake. The rooms were really nice! They had [fake] wood floors instead of the typical hotel carpet, which made me question why every other hotel has carpet - so gross! Shower was hot and nice, and I really liked the shower products they had. Bed was comfortable, lots of nice pillows. I used the gym, it's small but nice because the treadmills look out over the pool. I loved the courtyard, it was so cozy and made me feel safe. All in all, a great hotel, I'd definitely stay again! My dad stayed at the nearby Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, which was much more expensive, and he wasn't super happy with the room or the service, so.... :)

I was released from the hospital that day. We booked a room over the phone. When we arrived, we were told we had no reservation. And they had no rooms left with a roll in shower for my wheelchair. I yelled across the lobby in my wheelchair to the desk, "That's ok mom, I just won't be able to take a shower." Immediately, a room miraculously opened. I don't know if the kid was trying to get cash out of us or what?? We had him on speaker when we made our reservation. It was the same voice! BTW, the restaurant servers were very friendly and the food was surprisingly good for a hotel.

Filthy dirty establishment , the never clean the rooms , blames it on “ New policy” been here 8 days and the room was never cleaned. Not new policy these corporations blaming covid to minimize their expenses and cut corner around cleaning when they should do the exact opposite and clean more often. Do yourself a favor and never stay here , I know this will be my last time.

From the start of our staycation, Jenna at the front desk was the sweetest. I have never had experienced hospitality like what she offered us. I stated to her we were celebrating my sons birthday and she went out of her way to make sure my son who was turning 8 felt special by offering some goodies to him. The property was nice and the rooms are cozy. Being from Albuquerque, the location of this hotel is also very nice;close to the balloon fiesta, shopping, restraints and the movie theater! Thank you Jenna for an amazing stay!! -Max, Desaray & Michael T.

I just had two complaints. (1) the fan in the bathroom was so loud and annoying. (2) they left no soaps or lotion on the sink. Everything else was good. Oh, the younger lady there, her name escapes me, was a bit rude. I arrived there on Sunday at noon and she said she absolutely had no rooms available until 3, without even looking. So I run over to eat and right as I sat down to eat I got a message saying my room is ready. I'm not a mean guy but I think, to some people, ignorance is bliss. Some training may need to take place in order for people to understand. There were a few other things but I can let them slide. I think this hotel is a few staff changes away from a five star.

One of the most peaceful night sleeps you can get in a hotel. Black out curtains literally keep the room nice and dark and it is so quiet here. Of course it is the off season but it's wonderful to be able to sleep in silence. The bed is very fluffy and comfortable with hard pillow and soft pillow, not too big on the coffee maker because it's using single-use plastic for every single cup of coffee. The morning service was much better in the restaurant than the evening service. And the food is good for breakfast, the breakfast burrito tortilla is nice and crispy, this also was spicy and delicious and the guacamole was fresh. The Omelette with cheddar cheese and crispy bacon was yummy and they have those potatoes that are so good not that shredded pre-patty stuff. Kind of a bummer they don't have coffee cups though, but it's not Styrofoam. They have a laundry facility on site, it's $1.50 per load wash and $1.50 to dry, and they are large machines just a few of them but they work perfectly for those of us on a long vacation. There are no dogs barking, as this is a no pets hotel. One of the reasons we chose it. They do not have a local magazine to tell you what's going on in town, you have to sit on the computer to find out where to go and what to do. Luckily there's a computer station at the front desk. Super friendly night time front desk lady on Halloween was fantastic, very personable, and very proficient. Love the courtyard they have a fire going so you can sit at a fire at night and relax on these beautiful evenings. I think it's worth the money. Cons: The housekeeping could be better because our floor was really dirty and we had to clean it ourselves after our socks came up dirty, and they sprayed some type of chemical behind the toilet that is neon green but it actually washes off with a wet cloth so housekeeping is not as good as it could be. The pool water was clean but above the water is a black residue that you can see on the water depth tile. It's been noticeable by many people because you can see they've scratched little letters into it. On Halloween it seems the waitress didn't show up and the bartender started our order for us to have dinner. The food was delivered by the waitress who never came back to see how our food was or to clear our plates. We had to go find her to pay our bill and she had to ask us what we had. We were only one of two tables in the entire restaurant. There were three people that sat at the bar and they seem to get the majority of her attention. That was a bummer, and the bartender Daniel told her she was late when she came in and we heard it so that's how we know she was the slack waitress of this restaurant.

Their room floors were so dirty, all of our socks turned black within minutes of walking around. They had vinyl flooring, so it's easy to clean. But they are not getting cleaned.

staff are very friendly. I changed the room because of the noise next to the freeway, I am grateful there were some vacants and staff were willing to help. Bed is great, wifi is fast, parking is free, rate is reasonable, safe and convenient location.

OVER-PRICED for Balloon Festival. Terrible. Room had a LOT of issues. A/C rumbled all night. A/C cracked. Floor rippled. Water damage on ceiling. Wallpaper falling off. Cracks visible on flooring. Light fixtures not secure on wall. Arrived early, went to bar to get drink while we wait. Bartender stated she closed in 5 minutes, refused to make drinks. Check-in. Clerk suggested chips and salsa for Happy Hour. Out of chips!? Dinner pass. We had to go find another place to eat. 9 a.m. housekeeping knocking on door, asking if we were leaving. Never staying here again. NOT to Marriot standards. Should have stay a motel for better value. 0.5/5

Kids and I stayed at Courtyard last weekend. I loved the location, easy access and centered well to get to any location in town within minutes. The hotel was very clean, quiet and beautiful. Thank you for making our stay exceptional and pleasant. The only downside was not having more time to enjoy all the wonderful amenities they had during our stay.

My review will mostly be related to the hotel breakfast. We arrived last night, check in was seamless. Quick and convenient. Because we had been in the car all day, we opted in for dinner at hotel bar. It was pretty good, we thought for the price we paid it was similar to what we would get from home. Because it was a satisfactory dinner we decided breakfast here would be the best choice as we weren't excited to get back in the car yet. Breakfast was horrible. I ordered at the counter because it is a very casual dining space and that was the only person visibly working. No wait staff was around so I assumed along with others that you order at counter, take your number to where you want to sit and your food comes out to you. Our food arrived in to go boxes. We ordered the breakfast burrito, and bistro breakfast sandwich. Sandwich was supposed to come with avocado, and a fried egg. It came scrambled and without avocado. For 14.00 I would expect avocado to be present. The burrito was to have green onions, salsa, and avocado. It came with sautéed onions. I had to request salsa and avocado and the avocado still never came. The dining room was not busy, 3 tables total, so I don't know what the issue was but the extreme disconnect between dinner and breakfast was highly disappointing. I don't expect 5 star from hotel bars, but I would expect for a $43.00 breakfast for two after all is said and done for the menu to at least be accurate in type of egg on a sandwich and for the salsa and avocado to be available with the meal.

Front lobby undergoing renovation so there is some inconvenience right now. But the desk clerk and manager were so helpful. They put us on the first floor as my dog was ailing so couldn't walk steps. The hotel is very near a major highway so it is noisy but convenient for getting on I-25. The rooms are very nice. No carpet and beautiful interior. Once renovations are done it should be a great place to stay.

Rooms are not that great. You cannot cancel. No continental breakfast. You have to pay for your breakfast? Not that great. I had a little issue with them. Couldn’t fix it until I called corporate. I’m still hoping they’ll give me my credit back overall I won’t stay there anymore.:(((

Easy to get to from the highway with lots of parking. There is room for pick-ups and trailers. The hotel is older but has been remodeled and is very clean and well-kept. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful to relax and unwind after a busy day. The Bisto was hit and miss.

Not a great place for long-term stays. Despite staying at the hotel for ten days straight, they only cleaned our room twice, even though we asked them (the front desk) to please have someone come clean our room. Breakfast is not included and the food in the Bistro is only passable. Also, the mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable. The location and the hotel grounds are great, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

I made a last minute switch from another Marriott close by. I saved $60 per night and had a great 3 night stay. Hotel customer service was excellent, room was comfy, quiet and clean, fitness facility was well equipped compared to other Marriotts. You can walk 50 yards to a great breakfast at marigold cafe.

This hotel is amazing. We had an issue with a presentation and we had to run to FedEx. Russ was awesome. There was confusion about a pick up stop and he drove till he found us. Thank you for your awesome customer sevice!

Staff....was very helpful and checked us in early. I realize that the staff and place isn't responsible for the people that stay here. But the girl with the begals in the courtyard. Regardless on how we were dressed. We only had good intentions. But you judged us.....other than that. GREAT place to stay

The staff was nice, but the hallway was really cold, even the pool room was really cold the water was warm for the kids but I had to get a jacket on just to be in there and seen few other people do the same we tried to turn the heat up from the thermostat in the gym room but didn’t seem to work, and our room was cold as well and took hours just to move up few degrees the mini split unit seems to be outdated. And they could use a microwave inside the rooms! Could not enjoy a movie because every 5mins it would glitch or stop playing do to lack of internet. It was okay but not for the price. We are moving hotels first thing in the morning! But 5 stars on the staff at front desk !

This facility was not bad at all. Front desk employees are extremely polite and professional and overall cleanliness and appearance is excellent. Down side is you have to drive a little bit to eat if you dont dine at the small restaurant on site and if you choose to stay in the tv is limited on channels. Love that they REALLY have a late checkout

The pool frikn Sucks with a capital S!!!! The fact there is no hot tub is beyond belief! The price is too steep for as old as it is. The rooms are clean and have decent space. There is no microwave and the beds are older but thankfully the floor is carpet less. The staff is very friendly and cordial! The highway is located outside the window but isn't a noise issue. Cracker Barrel is around the corner and UberEATS delivered both services were quick and efficient. There is a restaurant/bar in the hotel. The courtyard needs so much work and upgrades. They are not very pretty or visually inviting.

Decent place to stay, convenient location. Staff was friendly although not very responsive to mobile chat via the Bonvoy app. Nice remodeled lobby. Rooms were nice (also remodeled), although our TV streaming apps did not work. The maintenance person came to check the connection and had to call someone for help. He was told it might be too complicated and that he would fix it in the morning, which of course didn’t help us out at all. He did however fix the toilet that refused to stop running. (He was great by the way, many thanks.) The bed had two body-sized ditches in the mattress, but we still managed to get decent sleep. Get an interior room facing the courtyard if noise is an issue. Overall a good no frills stay.

Deshawn provided excellent customer service when I called in with questions about my bill. He cleared up my issue promptly and politely! I have had several company functions and stays at this location and the service and facility is always top notch! I will encourage my company to continue doing business here!

This hotel is so noisy right on the freeway. I will never stay here again. I called to change rooms for a quiet room and they said they were sold out. How in the world is it sold out? Who would ever want to come to this town ever? I guess I am not getting any sleep tonight. And look at all of the reviews online saying this hotel has cockroaches. I cannot wait to get out of here in a few hours.

The rooms were spacious and the shower was nice and water pressure worked great. I stayed here with a friend and there was a separate room it was like a little apartment it was pretty cool. I liked how they had a bar downstairs and the staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. Room smelled great too and the location wasn't bad either. I wouldn't mind staying there again next time I'm in Albuquerque.

  • 2/5 Laura D. 1 year ago on Google
The place has been nicely updated since my last stay. It's clean and good location. However- the most rock hard and uncomfortable beds ever. Even for my husband who prefers a firm bed. They do not provide lotion (In a desert...) and they have a Cafe open at 8am but charge for drip coffee at front desk. That seems exceptionally cheap that they can't even provide coffee. We stayed at a busy time (400$ a night) and it just seemed really lacking of very basic things

We had an engagement party here, and Bernadette and her staff were amazing! They were very professional, communicative, thorough, and all around great to work with! Our rooms were very nice and clean. We have stayed here several times after that event and will continue to stay here while we are in town. Highly recommend
