While I appreciate that the staff at this hotel were friendly (very friendly, in fact), the accommodations were utterly deplorable! Frankly, I am shocked that this run-down and out-of-date property is associated with the Wyndham brand! Not only was the bathroom floor noticeably dirty upon arrival, the carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed. Additionally, the tub water was brown for the first few seconds after turning it on, plus the toilet and shower both leaked...a lot! Hard as I tried to turn the nozzles all the way off, I could not stop the tub faucet from running, which points to higher than necessary water bills (money which could be used to improve this property), not to mention, a poor use of this precious natural resource. I was also surprised that we were frequently unable to open the exterior door with our card keys. (We witnessed other guests experiencing this problem as well.) Regarding housekeeping, this was something that needed to be requested - something which we were not informed of upon arrival!!!!! If that weren't enough, this property skimped on soap, shampoo and conditioner by providing barely enough for one night (without housekeeping offering a fresh supply for subsequent nights). We finally requested fresh towels - which did arrive, but far from promptly. In all fairness, the positives of the room were that the television worked, and the bed was comfortable and the bed linens appeared clean. Having said that, on the balance, I found this to be a negative hotel experience, and I will not be back.

1 Star because you can't put 0. Stop!! Whatever you do, don't stay here! Where to begin? The Lobby had an unpleasant odor. Our king bed room had stained, worn carpet and sofa. The cabinet for the TV was falling apart with a very worn finish. The heater would not work properly, the bathroom sink would not drain, the tub faucet was dripping, one lamp did not work, had to unplug the coffee maker to plug in the microwave. Moved to another room, upon entering, the carpet was torn and rippled, the easy chair arms finish was completely worn off, the heater smelled so bad when turned on that we had to turn it off. When we sat on the foot of the bed and the head of the bed came up off the platform. The rooms were falling apart and the furniture should have been in the landfill. The room was WAY overpriced but it was the week of the Balloon Fiesta and nothing else nearby was available. Again, do not stay here, 3.5 stars is NOT accurate, it should be shut down by the health department until completely renovated.

First off, the lady at the front desk was very, very unattentive. Reluctant to answer questions look like she didn't even want to be there. I don't like people like that in customer service. The rooms pretty old and outdated. The carpet was full of stains very unpleasant to look at the refrigerator wouldn't stop making noise all night long. The bars for me to be able to stand up in the bathroom were very loose and unsafe...dukes. Bartender decides to take a 15..30 minute break. When the restaurant first open and the first thing out of her mouth was After being on her cellphone at the bar for an additional five minutes before she noticed us...we don't serve food and walk to away. I was not impressed, especially with a name ramada i figured you all would do better but I will not go back. Not to this Ramada....

Don't waste your money! Though the staff were pleasant, the room was filthy! Kept my socks on the whole time! I made sure our bags weren't left on the floor. The TV's picture blacked out after about an hour on and only had sound thereafter, (the front desk said they were having problems with Dish and nothing they could do about it) our side chair to set in was so filthy (the arm rests were black)! At least the sheets were cleaned and we had no bed bugs. The location was good for us, price good, but the RATING listed, I feel was WRONG 3, really??? It should have a rating of 1! I won't be staying at any Wyndham hotels again. Please think twice before you book there.

The restroom shower ceiling looks like it has mold on it. The shower walls look like they have not been cleaned in a long time— there’s obvious grey spots around the white tile. The complimentary shampoo and conditioner and soap are random items- they aren’t all one brand- it just looks like someone took out some extra complimentary items from their pocket and just placed it on the tray in the bathroom. The sheets have holes in them. The blow dryer doesn’t work. The A/C doesn’t cool very well. It’s on 66 and it’s still warm in here. Pros— they did have good service at the bar in the lobby. I don’t recommend staying here when spending over $100 a night for a place that isn’t clean and items are broken or not working.

This is the first time that I have ever felt inclined to write a review. My partner and I were road tripping from Atlanta to California and stopped in Albuquerque for the night. We were unaware that last weekend was their Annual hot hair balloon festival. It was hard to find a hotel, but we found this one. For one night they charged me $265.00 dollars plus a $250.00 dollar deposits. The room was 597 and located in what seemed to be the very old and original part of the hotel. The rooms chairs were both shredded, carpet was shredded, and the decor looked like it was out of a bad 80s movie, but that’s not even my complaint. (I do have pictures of all of this). We thought it was comical that they charge 250 Deposit for that was in this condition and such a high price…although we understood it was because of the festival. So the next morning I went to use the bathroom and a girls worst night mate happened. The toilet didn’t flush! My boyfriend tired to use the toilets down stairs, but they were absolutely gross…perhaps from so many people at the hotel. We complained to the manager…and it took many days to hear from a supervisor. They only offered us 20 percent off the room. After a long road trip this was the last thing I wanted to deal with. We couldn’t even shower because that doesn’t seem sanitary with a toilet that wouldn’t flush. We drove back to California very annoyed at this situation. You can’t treat people like this. This room was not fit people to stay in.

There were more moths than staff! In our room alone we probably killed about 10, that's gross. The bed n bathroom were made nicely, but there's a huge space in the room where we assumed the couch would be? We got a king bed. There was a curtain on the floor too. If the place refurbished probably it would be even nicer, but there's def a moth problem. Staff were nice, just a little slow. Sleep was good as well, breakfast included even for 1 night.

Do not stay here. Roaches in the room, funky smelling odor in the room, blood stains on the curtains, bedding and wall. One section of the wall was painted fresh and I'm assuming someone splattered themselves inside the room. Genuinely gross. Would not recommend.

We stayed here on our way home from Arizona. Based on the pictures and other reviews we thought it wouldn't be a bad place. When we arrived the individual standing behind the desk to help with check in was too busy playing on his phone to help. Another staff member came out front and assisted with check in, but wasn't very nice. She ended up answering a call during my check in and continued to help the caller instead of asking them to hold or having the other staff help. Our room wasn't bad other than one door seemed to have damage and was kind of breaking. The remote wouldn't work for the living area TV so we called to see if they could replace it or fix it. No one showed up after about 30 minutes, so we called again. Still nothing after another 30 minutes or more, so I called again and expressed that we had small children that needed to try and wind down and being able to watch something would be super helpful. Someone eventually came and fixed the remote. Needless to say we weren't to happy with this hotel. It was kind of run down, the hot tub wasn't even working and the breakfast was only one option of eggs, sausage, biscuit and potatoes. The juice machine didn't work and we had to wait for coffee to finish brewing. The bar downstairs was not bad and staff was pretty nice in there. Enjoyed our free beverage, that was a plus.

This hotel may have once been nice and seems to have potential. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been properly scrubbed in a while, and the sink had a crack. There was also a vent connecting our bathroom to the one next door, through which we could hear their music and smell every time they smoked (despite it being a non smoking hotel). People were noisy in the halls, and I could hear it all at night. The grab and go breakfast for the Balloon Festival participants wasn't ready when they said it would be and was very limited, and the breakfast buffet the day we went wasn't as nice as most hotels. I wish I hadn't tried to save money by staying here and had gone with the same hotel as last year.

Though the hotel needs renovation, it deserves better than 1 star as some recent reviewers have posted. A free drink at happy hour and eggs and sausage for breakfast are perks you don't get at other places in this price range. The beds were comfy and the shower works. On the downside, I never quite figured out the a/c or heater, so the room was a bit warm at night at 68 degrees. Once they renovate, the prices will probably go up, so take advantage of this great deal while you can!

If I had to describe this hotel in one word it would be “filth”! I would give no star but not sure I can do that and get posted. First noticed at front desk. The room…..curtains filthy and torn, carpets filthy, lamps broken, furniture broken. I can’t imagine what happened on that bed to have the bed frame end up like it was. Bathroom shower curtain was filthy and torn….was afraid to touch. No hot water, well i refuse to call that hot water. Oh….the heater was garbage. Thermostat must have been broken because you had two choices hot as hell or butt cold. When morning came i was greeted by my car being broken into. I don't think they have any security at all. I work in the area and security is a must. They had plenty of signs there letting you know if you smoke marijuana in the room your out $250. I think that is the least of their worries. Guess my mistake for staying but it was non-fundable. I still haven’t received my $100 security deposit back on my card. Maybe they’re blaming me for the room. Going to call and find out. Let’s end with a positive……bed was very comfortable. Dare I say seemed to be the only clean item in the room. I’m camping next time in a tent.

Overall this place is fine. I didn't see anything that most people were complaining about other than the cleanliness of the room not quite being where I would like it to be. But for an individual here for a few days or a family stopping overnight it's fine. The beds were comfortable enough, the shower was good enough, toiletry products were actually well above park, breakfast was good, for the price I paid it's actually a really good place to stay. There were a couple of hairs in the shower, some crumbs on the floor in one spot, the bathtub really needs a good scrubbing, that was the sort of cleanliness issues I found. If you can live with that then for the price this is a great place.

Beds are old and indented in the middle. Food was disgusting. The rooms are old and need a lot of work. Bathrooms are so outdated, shower head must be as old as the building. No pressure, water goes everywhere except you. This place is old and needs work immediately. Stains on beds. Rips in chairs.

Probably some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Unprofessional and over priced. The nightstand was two different disconnected pieces. The floor is hideously stained. I had to rearrange the whole room to plug in the microwave. The coffee maker was dirty and the front desk refused to replace the filter. We were told to throw our trash in the front bins of the hotel. Zero stars if I could. There was a very attentive host during breakfast I would like to commend. Other than that it was an awful week long stay.

How is it possible that this is considered a 4 star hotel. Every motel 6 I have stayed at has been a cleaner and overall a better hotel. This place is a 1 star hotel at best. Stained and dirty carpets. Dead bugs behind the TV and night stand. Walls are dirty. Paint peeling. Baseboard falling off the walls. Even the picture on the wall is mounted crooked

Positives: the beds are nice. Not so positive: Dated. Sink was cracked. Faucet was pulled out from the wall in the shower. Tiles were unattached and looked old. Other reviewers said two free drinks at happy hour. I couldn't comment on that as I do not drink. Pop machine not working on my floor. Ice machine not working on my floor. Sent to lower floor. Not working either. Phone did not work. Will, the man that checked me in, did an excellent job. The two women that were there looked like they were trying to do anything but talk to a customer. Final comment....MEH. there are other places to stay

I will give their customer service 5 stars for immediately understanding why we did not want to stay there, and explaining how we could contact priceline for a refund. Everything else, 0 stars. I now understand others' reviews that say the pictures don't match at all what the rooms look like. Our room had torn and stained curtains, the couch was stained, the desk/table was covered in greasy food like someone ate there and no one had been in to clean since. Most importantly there were multiple live and dead cockroaches on the floor and walls. It's clear that they just don't clean the rooms between guests and don't pay for adequate pest treatment. We stayed at a La Quinta instead, not a fancy place, a little run down, but CLEAN! And pretty much the same price.

It was Filthy! I went in to check in and there were several people standing at the desk talking with the one employee there and they continued to talk and cut up through my entire check in process. The guy talking to the employee was saying inappropriate things and the employee was laughing. Once we checked in we were given very poor directions to our room and we went up the wrong elevator and had to go back down to the first floor and find the correct elevator. Once we finally got to our room I was extremely disappointed. Extremely disappointed. I could not believe how filthy, old, and wrinkled up the carpet was. There was no way we even felt comfortable enough to walk without shoes. The air conditioner didn’t work well and the furniture was so worn down that the fake leather from the chair and the office chair was coming off and was getting on everything. We were married on Sunday before our stay at Ramada and as we were traveling on our honeymoon we expected good room for decent prices. I reserved this room also because it said it had a view of the Sandia Mountains and it absolutely does not it has a view of the hotel across from us. Overall this was probably my second worst stay in all of my 25 years of traveling!

Friendly night crew. Nice, clean room with a mountain view - perfect for traveling with our 11 month old. We stayed one night and ordered dinner at the bar & grill. The food was surprisingly good. The drink selection was limited, or the bartender just didn’t know how to make much. Breakfast was disappointing, the juice was severely watered down, the biscuits & sausage were dry & cold, and the “fresh” fruit was old, brown and mushy.

HORRIBLE!! TV didn’t work. Broken toilet, wouldn’t flush, water kept coming back up onto the toilet seat! Sheets from stay before us still on sofa bed! DISGUSTING! Bathroom was disgusting in general. We walked downstairs to the front desk and asked for new sheets and they said they were on the way.. 2 hours later nothing. We called the front desk and they basically yelled into the phone that they were on their way to our room # with our sheets… 1 hour later nothing. Called again same thing repeated. Next morning guess what? No sheets all night!! We had to sleep on the nasty sheets from people before us!! None of the outlets worked so no charged phones for a 7 hour drive! … The next morning we went to get breakfast, milk was spoiled, drink machine was spitting soda syrup at us! Food had been sitting out for who knows how long!! We went to get a drink from the drink machine (because there was none other) stole $10 from me!! They told me it was $1.75!! So here we are on our 7 hour drive, no sleep, no phones, hungry, dirty, and over all very disappointed!! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE DO NOT GIVE THIS HOTEL YOUR MONEY!!

Reasonably priced with comfortably appointed rooms. During my two stays, I experienced both the double bed room and splurged on the king room. The initial double bed room had some noticeable cleanliness issues with floor staining and restroom tile, but it was passable. However, the king room was exceptional – pristine sheets, spotless restroom, and the added bonus of a living room and kitchenette. Opting for the king room is highly recommended for a longer stay or those seeking a cleaner environment. The staff consistently demonstrated friendliness and willingness to accommodate requests, including early check-in and assistance with door-related issues. Overall, this hotel is a good value for a short stay, particularly if you choose the king room, which comes with ample amenities. A solid 4-star experience.

The location is great. Not far from food and gas stations. I can't complain about service I checked in easily. Was not bothered during my stay. I walked around pool and sauna looked nice. They could use more seating for the sun deck. They even have a little fitness center. Food at Dukes bar and grill. Now I know so many people complain about room cleanliness. It's a motel. The poor house keepers are only paid for 30 min to clean your room. I have been there. So I always try to make sure I help where I can before I leave my rooms. ( leave a place better than you found it, right) I will be back mostly since they even have security that watches our vehicles (thank you to that person) it helps sleep easier at night knowing someone is watching for your belongings while you rest.

Absolutley superior to the Motel 6 right off the freeway. It was $80/night and we were happy to get away from the Motel 6 (I think we would have been mugged had we stayed there), Ramada was close and much better. Our room had stains on the carpet, a leaky shower faucet, and the door to the back was cracked with the wall and difficult to open. Door to enter the room (with key card) was difficult as well. The breakfast was not good (gallon eggs, hash browns (lol), breakfast sausages), the lady checking in for breakfast was very nice and hard working. I can appreciate that greatly. The service at the front desk was great as well, and extremely fast. Pool was dirty and needed to be completely changed or filtered. Almost as if more chemicals were added instead of cleaning. Bed was nicely made and the air conditioning was cool (but loud). Our second night there, there was a car being towed that has its horn blaring the entire night. I am satisfied with the price and our stay.

In my opinion, Definitely not worth the money. Unfortunately not all the staff were friendly and the rooms are very old and outdated. Looks can be deceiving, the lobby, when you first step in, is clean and nice, but as soon as you go up to the rooms the carpet looks dirty, dinghy and worn. The rooms have seen better days, carpet and bathroom tiles are stained the room is in need of a fresh paint job, paint is peeling and chipped. The carpet also needed a good cleaning, dirty and stained. On the other hand the bed was firm and comfortable and the pillows were surprisingly comfortable as well, but the shower has no pressure.

Do NOT stay here under any circumstances! The bedroom floors are NASTY. The faucet in the bathtub dripped the whole time. The pool as of right now does not heat up and neither does the hot tub. Breakfast is DISGUSTING, over cooked and hard. One of the workers was talking to the cook staff crazy band didn't care that customers were hearing all her noise. You WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK FOR 4 WEEKS! ASK THE STAFF.

The room wasn't completely clean, and a couple lamps didn't work, but the room (suite) was spacious and they brought a rollaway bed at no additional cost. Took them a few hours to get the bed brought up, but they were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent, pool was comfortable, hot tub not working. Overall, I could see staying here again at some point.

I recently used the Embassy Ballroom at this venue to host a celebration of life. The space was perfect for my event. The room was set up by the facility exactly as requested. The staff provided exceptional service before, during and after. I highly recommend to anyone in need of a space for an event. Special thanks to saleswoman Victoria and Juan the banquet manager for helping make my event a success.

Gross Gross Gross! Do not waste your money or time! Price was decent, locations was great. But it was filthy! The hallways were dirty but we figured it was due to old age and being a high traffic area. We were wrong. The rooms was filthy. The floors were pretty gross and you could tell they had not been vacuumed. The walls had sauce on them and had not been wiped down in a while. The restroom was not any better. Dirty walls, dirty shower hair on the wall. The sheets also looked like they had not been changed. It was just gross. They need better housekeeping whoever is in charge of cleaning isn’t doing much cleaning and do not care at all. The check in staff were great and friendly. The lady who was there for check out was rude.

The rooms are not very nice. The first room they put me in was leaking from the celing in the shower. There was plaster all over the tub and floor. No USB ports at all; rather outdated in today's world. They charged me for pet fee even though they were service animals. I called numerous times to ask questions but was put in hold each time only to be disconnected after 12 plus minutes each time. They do have a nice little enclosed area for pets outside. And the pool and hot tub were nice enough.

Room was decently nice. Not exactly 4 Star hotel.. Beds and pillows so comfy didn't want to leave. Some things were broken upon arrival. Toilet didn't flush correctly and shower was low pressure. I wish had room service tho. I only received service the day I checked out. Location is little sketchy but security patrols lot. Overall not bad hotel for decent pay.

An older building. Scuffs, scrapes, etc. Button missing on lamp. Not enough/accessible outlets. But clean and fine. Staff very kind and helpful. I was having a hell of a cruddy day and had both the counter man (big guy, many tattoos) treat me very gently and well, and also was helped by a kind maid when I couldn't get my room door to work. (Handle up, not down). Morning breakfast lady was cheerful and happy, which is infectious. Pleasant people to be around. That means a lot. This is not the Ritz, but it is fine.

I traveled alone across the country and I felt particularly safe in this hotel. Each and every staff member I encountered was kind and focused diligently on their duties. It’s a very clean hotel and breakfast was quite enjoyable. Convenient location as well. I was in 205 and my only complaint was the fridge was so loud I had to unplug it to sleep.

The food was disgusting. The hallways were filthy. The staff was rude. They had to move my room twice because of how dirty they were the only thing I liked was the bed was a little comfy and the room stayed cool other then that it was the worst stay of my life and I will never stay there again. It was just horrible should of just slept in my car!

Worth every penny of the 50$ I payed. It has some quirks of an older hotel but has been kept mostly updated and cleaned. I got the "room with a view" and standing on my balcony watching the sunrise over the mountain was definitely worth the few extra dollars to me. The Laundry room, restaurant, and store are decent and running.

I booked the “King Superior Tower Room,” and it was anything but superior. The air condition/heating system did not work, the wall paper was peeling off the walls, the fitted sheet did not fit on the bed, the carpet was ripped, and the leather couch was worn. Truthfully, I would never stay here again.

  • 1/5 Zach C. 8 months ago on Google
The air conditioner in my room was leaking water onto the carpet, soaking my personal effects. The floors were not vacuumed. The bathroom door does not close all the way. Also there are random dead moths in the corners of the room. Unbelievable..

Frankie our checking guy was amazing. He helped us with all our needs and was very friendly. Spoke about life made the experience feel welcoming. Made us feel like more than just a guest. It's our second time hear and both time we enjoyed our stay. I would have left a five star but breakfast wasn't the best our last visit. The first visit was good. I would recommend this place if your staying in Albuquerque.

Overall I'm satisfied. Price was around $55 after tax a night during weekend. The carpet and walls are old showing its age. Bed was decent and shower was blazing hot. I had a ground floor room. It had slider door to access outside for smoking which is very convenient as some other rooms had no porch or balcony. The breakfast wasn't to bad its powder eggs type buffet breakfast.

Pros - Staff was friendly, bed was comfy good location and breakfast was great! Cons - room outdated, toilet ran and couldn’t sleep because of that, overall hotel was runned down with different pieces of carpet covering what I think was broken tile areas ( signs said watch your step). If they remodel I would probably stay again.
