It was great until I checked out and was informed there was a $75 dog fee. They had requested my credit card for incidental expenses then charged me the $75. Since most dog travelers with dogs are seniors, they are taking advantage of this demographic. Shame on them! The most I ever paid was $40 and most are $25. Do not stay here if you have a pet!

The staff was very nice of this hotel, but I think the housekeeping/maintenance has some issues. Our first room had a refrigerator that was loud enough to keep us awake. It was a weekday and we went down to report it to the desk. They let us know maintenance was still in the building and would be on it. They never fixed it. Our room seemed a bit stuffy so we turned up the air, when we got back the room still seemed warm so we boosted the air. We woke up in the morning and the room was hot. We were running late so we turned the air down and left the room, when we got back, it was obvious the air was not working. We went down to the desk and reported the air and the refrigerator still not working. They didn’t know how to fix it so they moved us to another room. After packing all of our things and moving and getting to the new room, I walked around the side of the bed and found garbage laying on the floor. It was a pretty big piece of garbage so I don’t know how they could’ve vacuumed or made the bed without finding that. Then we went into the bathroom, and I pulled a tissue out of the box and a red rubber earbud case came out with it. Once again, I’m not sure how they could have cleaned the bathroom and put those decorative tissues in the top of the box without seeing it. I checked the bed to make sure it had clean sheets. I wiped down all the flat surfaces in the room, which were sticky in places. At some point, we took our shoes off and realized the floor was wet next to the nightstand, maybe a previous guest spilled something, but still. I have to suggest you check your room thoroughly before unpacking or settling in. We were too tired to ask for another room at this point. I’ve spent almost an hour on the phone today with the hotel and with Hampton customer service trying to get the 50% refund I was offered. It hasn’t happened yet. I think a week is long enough. Honestly, at this point they should refund the whole visit. Vacations are supposed to be relaxing and one shouldn’t have to clean up garbage, move rooms, clean sticky spots, or wear shoes in your room because the carpet is wet.

The walls are very thin and the people next door left their tv on all night, plus there is tons of road noise. There was also loud music, lots of partying going on, and very loud people until 2:00. We called the front desk to see if there was anything they could do, but nothing changed, so I assume they made no effort. Plus the bed is not comfortable like most other Hampton Inns. We are Diamond members with Hilton and have never had this much trouble trying to sleep before. Everything else was okay, and the lady at the front desk was friendly when we checked in, but if you can’t sleep, why pay $200?!?! I would not recommend this location.

Definitely would not stay here if you are from out of town passing by. My car was being sized up to be stolen and could see the communication going on. I also do believe it was going to be an inside job. Luckily I read the other reviews from this hotel and hotels near by and decided to get back in my car and find a new hotel and city to stay at for the night.

If I could give this place NEGATIVE FIVE stars I would. Celia Pacheco is the rudest person I have ever met in my entire life! Very bad attitude and very ugly from the moment we walked in the door. We had an online reservation already paid for, and we are sitting in the lobby right now filling out paperwork to be able to use our own credit card?! This is ridiculous. I would NEVER EVER recommend this establishment to anyone I know, unless you want to be welcomed at the entrance with a horrible attitude and horrible customer service. Note to Celia- it's free to be kind. It doesn't cost anything. You never know what people are going through, and a little understanding and a nice attitude would have certainly been appreciated and gone a long way. P.S. you should probably take this mat off of your welcome desk because you guys OBVIOUSLY have no understand for your customers, or what it even remotely means to make someone happy.

So family were so tired from driving all day , and my wife was looking for a hotel that wasn't filled with bad reviews,. She was so scared to stay anywhere. But I read the reviews about this hotel and was relieved. We came in and we're greeted by the so very kind staff, and the clean and cool entrance. Went to our clean and cool room to a comfortable bed. Clean shower. So a big thank you the Hamptons inn and employees. And pool🙂 delicious breakfast. Only bad thing was the gym smelled like a cat pee.

I stayed here for two nights. It wasn't a bad hotel. It's in a good location. I walked to Panera for dinner. The rooms were clean. I didn't get a chance to check out the breakfast. It was pretty quiet at night. Pool looked nice.

Thinking of a nice get away for 4th of July. Booked two rooms, for two nights. Got robbed on the very first night. And was told by the employees there's very little camera footage coverage. And there's nothing they can do about it. Spoke to the security and was told the cameras cover the entire premises and are clear. They also told us that a week ago this hotel was robbed and there was no footage of the robbery and their thinking it's a inside job. Nowhere to be found are the security footage. Cops were no help at all except for the insurance wants to up our rate. The same night my son got sliced by their light fixture in the pool. So, all in all don't stay here or even think about it. And this is how they treat their guests and loyal diamond members.

This isn't the first or the last time I stay here. Unlike many of the other reviewers, I had an excellent experience with the staff. Most of them were very friendly and sociable. My room was in very good condition for the age of this hotel. The bed was a bit firm, but acceptable. The pillows and couch cushions are flat as a board and very much worn out. AC/Heater units are usually pretty loud but usually very effective. Cable selection was decent. Breakfast wasn't too bad. Little sad to see the amount of fruit that was going bad. WiFi seemed to work pretty well. Not overloaded or super slow like most places. Parking and access to the hotel is very easy. Many food places within walking distance. I did not try out the small gym, pool or hot tub. All three were usually full when I walk past.

My room was excellent as usual was a little disappointed the hot tub was very dirty. And swimming pool was freezing cold. We really look forward to this when we stay here it’s part of our relaxing time.

Check in was easy; very friendly staff. Room was clean & comfortable. Mini fridge worked as it should. Shower was hot & strong. Had lots of pillows, too. Didn’t hear a sound all night. Breakfast was great, too. Potatoes, bacon, omelette with a flaky fruit tart. We’ll be back!

Overall average hotel with average breakfast. The room was quiet & roomy. Our room 415 was very tired & in need of some updates & repairs. The sink drained extremely slowly, the rug was worn & torn, the furniture was nicked & chipped as well as the doors.

We stayed in a front side 3rd story room with 2 queen beds. The room was clean but the carpet at the room entry was in terrible shape, worn down to the backing. The heater/air conditioning fan did not have an always on feature. The room was quiet as far as other hotel noise was concerned but the traffic noise from I-25 was constant all night. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast service was good. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We would not stay here again due to the traffic noise at night.

Location was easy to get too. they let us check in early like 45 early. the room they gave us was so small. I felt like I was suffocating. I felt like I was boxed in. my son brought my grandson over and there was no place to move around. I don't know if they gave us the first room they cleaned but, I think this place is just for over night travelers. it is not for a weekend stay. I will never stay at this location again although it was near where my son and his family lived and made it convenient. my older grandson wanted to stay and we asked for a roll away, where we would have put it but they said they don't have roll aways. if I had know their rooms were tiny I would have gotten a suite. the AC didnt work well either. over all I didnt like my stay there.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating but their maintenance was lacking. My shower only delivered hot water. I asked them to fix it three times nothing was ever done about it. On the fifth night my TV fell off the wall. Next time I'll consider on staying somewhere else.

My friend and I spent the weekend in Albuquerque in May and enjoyed our stay. We chose the Hampton Inn & Suites Albuquerque North because it was near the attractions we were planning to visit. Our room was of adequate size, with two queen beds and a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet; we didn’t hear any noise from adjoining rooms or the nearby freeway. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options for a nourishing start to our day. We enjoyed using the indoor pool and hot tub. Special thanks to Claudia at the front desk! I was trying to access wi-fi the evening we arrived, and the system kept giving me error messages. I called the front desk and Claudia answered; when I explained the situation to her, she offered to come up to the room to see how I was logging in on my laptop. That was extremely kind of her! I opted to go down to the front desk and we worked through my login process. Claudia discovered that my name had been misspelled on the reservation, and so the login screen couldn’t recognize me. It was a small error—just one letter off—but created enough of a headache that I was VERY appreciative of Claudia’s assistance!

When I first entered the room it smelled like someone pissed everywhere. When I called the front desk they come up and sprayed Febreze on the floor. Then I was like ok it’s only for one night I can deal with it smell never went away). Then when I woke up I found bed bugs on the blanked/ comforter that was covering me and my wife.

Good location for the annual Balloon Fiesta. They have breakfast/coffee from 4am-10am. I'm don't usually eat tamales, but they were really good. Rooms are clean and front desk was helpful with information and friendly. The rooms have a coffee maker and refrigerator.

I will first off say that I was not able to stay here because the service before we even checked in was horrific. I called to extend the stay as our plans changed closer to the date of the arrival, and the representative told us there were no rooms available during the period we were looking for. We called a week later to cancel the room as we had to book another hotel with the availability we wanted, and were told we were outside the special 2 week cancellation window because of the event in town. We were also told by customer service that the hotel did in fact have room on the additional days we were looking for, just not for the whole period, when our original date was included. But by this time the rates had doubled. We have been Hilton members and stayed almost exclusively at there hotels for years and know the typical cancellation time frame is 24 - 48 hours. When we looked at our confirmation email the cancellation policy that they said was provided was a hyperlink to review the cancellation policy, which is the same hyperlink included in the normal confirmation email. Additionally, I made the reservation through the Hilton app which doesn't specify/acknowledge the policy until you are outside the window. I was ultimately told the my choices were to throw away my points or cancel and get charged the daily rate.I get why they have the special policy, but the policy was not communicated in a manner that would be easily available or disclosed to a customer. Instead it was behind the a hyperlink, as if they were trying to hide. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and disappointed in the Hilton brand for not acknowledging or owning their mistake, because they can't go against a hotels standalone policies.

The management and staff were very helpful and responsive to our requests. The location is very convenient, with several restaurants within walking distance. Bonus benefit- we were here for the Balloon Fiesta and got a good view from our window!

Stayed in room 101. Kitchen prep for breakfast started at 4am. Very loud banging of pots and pans for 2 hrs. Tried to go back to sleep then was woke again for cleaning kitchen after 9am. No rate adjustment offered. Just a sorry.....

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool but it is 4ft to 5ft for those that have kiddos. Easy location to get to and from places. Lots of places to eat nearby. Little noise from freeway. The north rooms have great view of sandias. South room great view of sunsets. Pillows are very flat and soft, recommend asking for extra pillows if you like more support.

Fast and friendly service. Clean, spacious rooms. Safe area and parking. Free breakfast, including protein options. We were very happy with our stay, and this will be my new go-to hotel any time I am stopping in Albuquerque.

My best friend and I were driving from Yuma to Michigan and had been on the road for hours. The front desk clerk let us check in a bit early, which was so appreciated because we were exhausted. The room was spacious and clean. The pool was relaxing. Excellent price as well.

I want to say Thank You to Skyler and his Manager. You both went above and beyond for me but also another member that was checking in at the same time I was. Customer service like what was provided is so rare. THESE WAS AMAZING EXPERIENCE I will be back.

I don’t know if I’ve ever stayed at a Hampton inn and there pool has never been open alway something wrong with them and they are closed! Very frustrating when you have kids and they want to swim, to burn some energy from being in the car all day!!

Wanted to rate it better but was given a room across from pool and nextdoor to kitchen prep. Noise at night and then early morning. Ugh!

Horrible. I booked a nonrefundable rate back in September and when checking in I was informed that no payment was recieved and was asked to pay again despite having confirmation of payment. Was on hold with Hilton for an hour and was told that I had to call back at 11am the next day. Beware!

The staff was nice. But the beds were hard as a rock we slept one night on a box string with a pillow top. The pillows are stained and flat.

Beds are a bit lumpy and weren't too comfy. It's nice for a quick night stay but not longer than a week. Staff was really friendly.

There was a problem with our reservation that put us in a smaller room than we needed, but they took care of it right away. Excellent front desk service. Only downside is, one out of two elevators was "temporarily out of service" the entire week we were there, making getting in and out of the hotel quite slow.

Check in clerk was rude. The hotel says it was pet friendly and charges $75 for dogs which I fine with but there no place to walk the dogs to relieve themselves. Landscaping is all large rock that you can’t walk on. No hair dryer in room. The breakfast was all lukewarm and potatoes were cold. Checked at front desk for hair dryer and was told to look around! Not a good experience

My father and I stayed over a night in Albuquerque; we traveled from El Paso. (It was for a medical procedure). On arrival they were very friendly with an easy check in/check out process. We had a comfortable and quiet stay. It was also nice having a lot of restaurants nearby. My father enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We hope to stay there perhaps to possibly explore Albuquerque more fully in the future.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient. The room, lobby, pool, and dinning area were very clean. You got multiple options for breakfast. And they kept the hot coffee and meals coming every few minutes. The parking wasn't so crowded, which I loved. Highly recommended for a quiet stay.

The hotel was clean and most of the staff were helpful and friendly. My brother made my reservation and when I got there I gave my own credit card to pay for the room. However, they still charged his card instead of mine. This was not a big deal, I just gave him the money. What was a big deal was the breakfast. While we were finishing ours a family came in with 3 young children. There was still 25 minutes left for breakfast but there was seriously almost nothing left. When the woman asked the attendant about getting something to eat she was told by the attendant she didn't have time to put anything else out for them. If the breakfast is served until a certain time, then food should be available. The young lady who was working was very rude and she locked everyone out exactly on the hour. I felt so bad for this family.
