A decent place to sleep. Low on towels and my kid’s blanket had a huge hole in it. We reserved a room with a couch/bed (no bedding.) Upon checking in, front desk person says “Sorry we’re out of the room you reserved. So I’ll put you in a double queen.” They didn’t offer a lower price. When I asked the clerk why I was going to pay the same amount for a smaller room, they backtracked and magically “found the original room you reserved.” I think they were trying to get some kids softball team all squared away. Fine, just don’t do it at my family’s expense. Buyer beware. These big chains will do this kind of stuff and most people just take it. Finished a long road trip with my family here. We stayed all kinds of places. “I’m an everywhere man.” Just because it’s a fancy name, doesn’t mean it will live up to its brand.

Hotel has a significant theft problem in the parking lot. 4K in tools stolen from my truck and the truck was busted open. Truck next to mine also smashed. Cleaning crew told me it happens frequently. No manager on site to report. Would not provide security footage of the incident. If they won’t provide liability or security then the Hotel staff should have at least mentioned the recurring threat at check in. Do not stay here and especially do not leave anything in your car. If you have tinted windows thieves will smash their way in for a look.

I travel for work and have stayed at a couple of different Holiday Inn Express locations in the Albuquerque area and will never stay here again and have warned my colleagues as well. The hotel is old which is fine but it desperately needs to be maintained, cleaned and updated. My hotel door knob didn’t work so after trying unsuccessfully to get in I had to go back down to the front desk where I was told “the trick” on how to move the door knob a certain way to gain entry. The bathroom door had brown liquid splattered dried on it which was as gross as it sounds. The ac in the room made a horribly loud rattle periodically - loud enough to wake me up each night as well as the refrigerator made a loud sound all of the time. Front desk staff was not friendly and wears no uniform so I was never quite sure if I was asking an employee or a guest for assistance. The fitness room was not adequately signed so I had to ask where it was located (inside the enclosed pool area) then it too had a “tricky door” so I needed assistance from the staff to even open the door to get in the fitness room. The gym options were limited to a treadmill, bike and elliptical (which wasn’t fully functional) with free weights starting at 15lbs. The wallpaper was stapled to the wall, dust and grime covered the baseboards and the floor perimeter. When I used the yoga mat bugs ran out from the area and several strands of human hair was on the mat. It was 5am when I got to the empty gym so it wasn’t as if it had been well utilized for the day yet. A sign requested users to wipe down equipment but yet there were no disinfectant wipes nor towels which typically are in gyms. The breakfast area was kept stocked and clean despite it being packed with work crews staying in the hotel. When I checked out I requested the receipt be emailed to me, still awaiting that.

Three of us felt this was a great place to stay. Great location, seems to be a pretty safe area. Room and hotel were very clean, reasonable cost, zero complaints. Breakfast was great and the man running it worked hard and took pride in his work.

Smaller shower than any other holiday inn we’ve stayed in. Breakfast was better than most. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a hole in our bathroom door which was odd. Looked like someone punched through it. Came with all the Dove products.

What I liked best about the hotel were the shower, the microwave, and mini fridge. Everything else was not worth the 193 we spent last night. The bed squeaked, the pillows (which claimed to be soft or firm) were flat and too soft. We were right next to the elevator, which was horrible and the elevator, even without people talking, was very noisy. Breakfast was a joke. The omelets looked dry, sausage links and patties were both dry and withered. Baked goods were dry looking. They were out of several breakfast items and it wasn’t quite 8 when we got to breakfast. Customer service, aside from one gentleman, was not good. The woman who checked us in was not friendly.

We stayed for one night. The staff were all so friendly, we felt right at home. The room was great, beds comfortable, and it was nice having a mini fridge and microwave. We enjoyed our dog friendly room. Great value at a good price.

Stayed here for balloon fiesta and it was amazing!!! I had Called a couple of times beforehand to ask questions and the young man that worked the front desk was always super friendly. When we got to the hotel, the young men at the front and the all the shuttle drivers were AWESOME!!! Everyone so kind and friendly. I hate Staying in hotels but I was Pleasantly surprised at how clean our room was. It was also about 5 minutes away from balloon fiesta using their shuttle service. It really made our experience so convenient and stress free. :)

I felt safe and secure the entire duration of our stay!! Great breakfast, friendly staff, comfy beds and clean rooms! The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing at the end of the day and also got a pretty good work out at the gym.

Hello I have just checked into my room with my Lovely family. We have found a large cockroach in our room #321. As I looked more it was easy to tell that the room was not properly cleaned, left over coffee stains, food on the floor, pubic hair/ regular hair in our bed and bathroom. Also drinks were spilled about over the walls. My wife and I are very upset and wish to find a different place to stay as we have 3 small children with us that are very susceptible to sickness. I hope I am the last customer to tell this to you before something is done. I'm sure you all know the health ramifications for roach infestations, not only for guests but most importantly the employees that are exposed on a daily consistent basis. FYI: I was shown a new room by Andrea who was wonderful and very courteous. Unfortunately there were more roaches in the next room. Thank you for wasting our time and not having any simple standards. Mark Hinojosa I will post again if we don't receive our refund

This is where I stay every time I go to Albuquerque for work. It's centrally located between my office and i25. There's a gas station nearby and plenty of restaurant choices. The rooms are nice and clean. I've had one or two small issues that were handled by the front desk promptly. The internet speeds are acceptable for me to answer emails. I refuse to stay anywhere else when I'm in town.

My wife and I traveled through Albuquerque to our way to AZ. I researched the area and wanted to stay in the North Valley area due to crime rate. We were taking our bikes with us and they were locked to the truck with 3 locks. I called before booking in November and the hotel said theft in parking lot is rare. I didn’t want to take the bikes in due to the amount of straps and twine I used to secure tires, and handle bars. Upon arriving I asked the front desk again about theft in the parking lot, and received the same answer that it was rare. I left the truck at 12:30 am and when I checked at 5:50am the bikes were stolen. I had parked by the breakfast window in plain view of the front desk. I talked with manager and he would not compensate me for the bikes. He did give me a free night stay due to no light in bathroom, and no furniture in the room besides the bed. This hotel has theft issues so do not trust the parking lot regardless of what staff tells you. Since my visit I have seen multiple posts concerning theft. The police officer who took my complaint asked if the hotel warned me, I said “no” and he rolled his eyes.

I asked the staff questions about local restaurants a couple days before I arrived. They replied quickly to the emails. The refrigerator was actually working and cold, unlike a high percentage of hotels I previously stayed. I liked they have pump bottles for shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The restaurants are nearby. We like Cracker Barrel and it was about 5-10 minutes away. The room has a safe for valuables. The downside was Maybe hotel rooms have changed since covid. I did not see a bible, notepad/paper or pen in the room and no skin lotion provided. Yet, there is a TV remote and coffee maker.

Not a sparkling new property, but clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Couldn’t get AC to shut off with thermostat, so I had to unplug the unit. Dove bath products were a nice touch.

Our room was in need of a deep cleaning - spots on the carpet and on the comforter. Bathroom needs a good cleaning and the shower head was rusty and did not flow well -needs to be changed out.

I was booked here for business...ended up sharing my room with black mold and ants! The glass shower door was not attached at the bottom, so every time it was moved, it swung wildly. I was terrified it would crash in on me. I had to stay 4 days & was never comfortable. A couple of the nights, starting at 11 :00pm, it sounded like furniture was being moved. This lasted a least a few hrs.

It was pretty nice. The rooms were nice and clean. The only problem was the bathrooms. They were a bit older, so there was a bit of obvious aging going on. Other than that though, absolutely clean and nice.

The manager on duty when I checked in was a sweetheart but the the lady after her is rude and very unpleasant. Why be in the hospitality industry if you're going to be annoyed being helpful to guests? I was in the parking lot smoking a cigarette and never slipper were a large amount of big roaches in the driveways. It's prompted me to come and look at the reviews and lo and behold that several guests before me stated that there were roaches in their rooms. So I definitely do not recommend staying here. Today is July 6th 2022 12:54 a.m.

I stay in lots of Holiday Inn Express rooms as they are predictably clean and reasonably priced. My room in Albuquerque was no exception - solid execution for my room. Clean, quick friendly check-in, the same predictable breakfast with good fresh oranges and all prepared when I wanted it. Good execution on the chain's model. I'd return.

Before heading out on vacation we knew we were going to spend father's day weekend in Albuquerque so we looked online and room rates showed to be $129 - $159 so we called and made it reservation and asked for a handicap room on the first floor. Upon arrival at 7:30pm local time the clerk checked my wife in giving her a 2 queen bed suite in the second floor. Not a handicap room on the first floor like what we had asked for or the crib we needed for the baby. When I checked out the room rates they charged us was higher than what we were quoted when we called If you have other options for accomodations I definitely would stay somewhere else. These rooms are not what ety

I had the best stay here, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The front desk agent I spoke with when making my reservation was newer but she did an awesome job! Defiantly coming back, we always stay here!

The large tables in the great room of the hotel were full of towels that needed to be folded. I have never seen that in any hotel. Towels are usually folded behind the scenes. The gal behind the counter was friendly & was able to recommend a great restaurant to us. The carpet in our room was full of some sort of thorns so walking barefoot in the room was not possible. When I stepped on one, it was no big deal but after more that 15, it was time to put my shoes on until bed time. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, not cool with covid still around. Breakfast the next morning was not good. Everything was out and not because it was closing time. The poor gal at the front desk was running the whole show. Front desk work and all the kitchen work as well. It was clear this hotel was short staffed. We checked out and had to go out to eat.
