We reserved two rooms for New Year’s Eve so the family could hang out and the children could swim. Pool was supposed to be heated but not very well. Hot tub worked fine. Overall place is not kept up well. Not very clean all the way through. It is on a decent side of town so you would expect better. Found miniature bottles and trash behind our bed. Sheets and blankets not very clean, had to request others. Clogged toilet in one of the rooms. Had to hunt down the gentleman at the front desk again after we already asked him to fix the issue just to get a plunger from him. Will never go back this hotel.

DISGUSTING hotel!!!!! When I first got there I found bed bugs in my pillows. So I moved rooms just to find bed bug bites all over my family and I. After spending about $1,000 with them they decided to kick me out accusing me of smoking in the room when I do NOT smoke at all. Not even cigarettes. Absolutely awful experience at the quality inn off Alameda and the freeway. Not even the closest bit to QUALITY 🤢🤢🤢 BARF . I wouldn't recommend for anybody to stay at this bed bug infested raunchy hotel. 🤮🤮🤮 Owners a POS too. Doesn't treat his guests with hospitality and talks down on his employees in front of guests. Although the one thing I can say was that the lady from the front desk at night was legit didn't bother us nor accuse of us of anything we weren't doing. Didn't catch her name though! I would rate this place NEGATIVE ZERO if I could but you get the point!!! SMH

We didn’t use the pool area but it looked very nice. The sink and shower in room 239 didn’t drain causing soap scum to accumulate while using. Shower head was rusty and crusted with buildup. where breakfast was served smelled very strongly of urine. The waffle iron had peeling paint which could fall into the waffle batter when closing. Hallway carpets throughout had an unpleasant odor. The outside trash receptacles were all overflowing. If the drains were cleaned regularly it would be easier for housekeeping staff to do their job.

Hi I’m an advanced life support specialist and Im traveling for work to help out in this pediatric pandemic. I work graveyard shifts and booked reservations on the 19th to the 20th got there after work at 130am. Receptionist who checked me in said I could be modified to stay the day for my sleeping situation.. then I double charged as I was only there from 20th at 130am to 20th at 11pm!! This is after The receptionist said I can pay for the 20th and allowed to sleep during normal check out hours due to working night shifts. Then at 11pm on the 20th I got charged$50 again for a deposit that was to be refunded. Which was credited then taken back? The day receptionist double booked my room and all day other people kept trying their keys on my door after clearing up my sleeping situation. I requested a refund or adjustments and it was a Major disappointment. The hotel has a serious disorganization problem here $118+ after the refund dispute I was charge again $50 that’s 2x deposit for $168.18 for a 11 hour stay of terrible sleep! Contacting BBB.

I was disappointed and a little grossed out with our stay. When we checked in, we were in a hurry and left again right away or we probably would've tried to change rooms. Our bedspread was stained, as were the curtains, the carpet in 4 large red areas (hopefully not blood??), and the ironing board was completely disgusting. My husband could in no way iron his dress shirt. Fixtures were broken and paint scraped off the walls. Thankfully the bedding itself appeared clean and we survived the night. They advertise a delicious looking breakfast with big signs in the lobby, but in actuality you get a small cold grab bag of very little food. Also, even though it was an 11:00 check out time, the cleaning staff tried to access our room at 10:00, just as I was getting out of the shower and I'm grateful I remembered to put the bar back across after breakfast! Very poor experience overall!

The room was fine bed and pillows were comfy. The bathroom LOOKED good but a lot of stain on the carpet and sofa in our room. The location was good enough but the outside was not the best I had someone get there trill on the outside and a "deal" go on inside the halls. Stay here if you want but for the price and the look I would highly recommend to go somewhere else.

The room was disgusting. My 2 brothers, sister, my 10 month old baby brother, and me all got black stuff on our feet, knees, and hands. There is literally a virus and you expect us to stay in a room with that. There was even hair clumps. I would never recommend this hotel. The service was horrible. My mom took my baby brother up to the lobby and asked the night manager to please clean the room and he gave her a mop and said clean it yourself. We were only there for 30 minutes and by then we were checking out. I do not recommend. Please don't stay here it is just disgusting.

It's on par for quality inn. My 4th stay here on the holidays and seems the same the past 3 years. A worn old building with a touch up. Bed seemed clean along with the carpet and bathroom. Forgot my flip flops but it was clean enough to shower without it since I've seen many hotel/motel tubs. 1 King bed suite with a fridge, microwave and lounge chair so I assume it has less traffic than the 2 queen beds room reviews that shared lower conditions. Nice location. Circle K is steps away for beers and the casino is one exit away. I've lived in ABQ before and visit 2 to 3x a year. Wouldn't mind staying again. Breakfast is expected motel breakfast. Didn't use the pool or tub but did see guest enjoying themselves when checking in and leaving.

Extra guests of cockroaches my 7 year old found while changing into pajamas in the bathroom. Front desk confirmed they do have an infestation and the room farther down is worse. They will not refund me my money for 10 minutes of being there. Marcella and Jerry won’t answer or return phone calls. Will be going into further management.

This place is pretty amazing, the rooms are really nice, super clean, comfortable, and it’s super affordable. The staff are awesome and really care and do such a great job. Me and my dog were here for almost two weeks and it was truly a wonderful experience, I cannot recommend this place enough. Just a heads up, watch the curb when you enter the parking lot though, because it will destroy your car. By the looks of the curb, it looks like it has destroyed many. You can’t see it when you turn left into the parking lot.

The quality inn is more like the unsatisfactory inn, with terrible service; the clerk at the front desk was very creepy and wouldn't leave my wife alone. He had horrible breath, awful customer service, wouldn't speak up, and had his headphones in the whole time. The rooms are covered in random stains, and the sheets are ridden with cigarette holes and bed bugs. The TV and refrigerator weren't even working when we got in the room. Don't even get me started on the breakfast; I almost thought we had covid; Never again

Oh vej... dilapidated... Looks like they serve homeless people... Made me worry about bed bugs.. As sheets were stained. Very old furnishings, not very clean. Corners not vacuumed in a long while, unpleasant smell in the room. Usually a fan of choice hotels. Not sure why this property is on their portfolio.

Decent hotel for affordable price. Staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean, the bathroom was a little bit dated but that’s totally ok.

Online it says it's pet friendly that's why I booked it because I have cats. When I checked in it turns out their only dog friendly. This place had really dirty rooms and the free breakfast was terrible the waffle mix tasted awful. I don't recommend any person or dog stay here. Off the freeway and basically away from everything. I just wish people took care of their cats and didn't let them pee and poop on the floor because that just ruins it for the people that take really good care of their cats and actually train them like I do.

Worst stay of my life, my reservation was cancelled without reason. Staff/management would not take responsibility for their error. We were forced to travel many miles away in another town for the night. This place does not have an elevator, especially for seniors. No computer/printer for guests, mouse pad on table was disgusting, afraid to touch, might get disease. The bathroom door needed to be replaced, had seen many battles. Breakfast, if you call it that, was dismal/disappointing. Stayed here the following night due to festival, not my choice. Avoid this place for your own safety and health.

Rooms were decent, shower was a little dangerous (I slipped due to it being open floor) hot tub was GROSS!!! Could see a bunch of floating ick (dead skins cells) and hair. There was a greasy film on top of the water. Service was good though, just overall average!

The lady that checked us in was rude to us and an older couple ahead of us. She was sarcastic. Impatient. Asking her a simple question seemed like it was hard for her to answer and check you in at the same time. We were told that a manager would call us they never did. We got a room that was dirty. Hair was left in the shower. The door in the bathroom and the wall where the trash can is had dirty splatter on them. The ledge on top of the shower wall was black and dusty. The outside of the tub was dark and dirty. It was not cleaned before we arrived. There was trash and dust behind the refrigerator. The refrigerator was unlevel, hard to open and once opened it smelled. Some lights didn't go on. All the lamps in the room were dusty. There was crumbs on the floor like it wasn't vaccumed. The ceiling had some dark splatter on it. The window didn't lock. The a/c / heater until was missing a piece on top. We moved to another room upstairs. The stairs look like they have never been vaccumed. Again crumbs on the carpet. Hair in the shower. Shower wall and bath tub dark, dirty and dusty. There was a tissue in the peep hole. Lamps were dusty. Walls were dirty where the trash cans were. There were a bunch of knats in the bathroom coming from the sink. The breakfast there was so so. The coffee was so nasty. There was 3 different kinds of cereal. Packaged pastries. Juice. Waffle maker. Apples and oatmeal were available. It's almost a health hazard to stay in that hotel. Please take some cleaning supplies with you to stay here. DO NOT walk barefoot on the carpets. If your allergic to dust you are going to want to take some dusting supplies to wipe down your room. Please don't let your kids touch anything in those rooms unless your prepared to wash their hands all the time. I have a lot of pictures of everything nasty with this place.

Stay was ok. A/C didn’t really work. Nice and quiet. Great location to balloon park. Would stay again but high cause of balloon fiesta.

Bed was comfy but sagging in the middle. Just before going to bed turned on lights in vanity area and saw cockroaches scamping off, Killed 4. Reported to front desk in check out they said it was getting hot out bringing bugs in. Well if you exterminate there should not be any bugs. On east end of hotel so too close to freeway heard traffic all night. Breakaways hot better than continental. Staff were nice.

Older room that had seen better days. The room wes fine but we wouldn't stay here again. And the front desk rep must have been having a bad day, checking out wasn't a good experience.

My stay was horrible. I took my daughter so she could swim. They had teenagers in the pool acting nuts with no parents. They knocked out all the water from the hot tub. They were cussing and being gross. No one did anything about it l. We had the front desk person fill the hot tub back up and then it would not work. We decided not to stay there because the room was old. I was afraid my car would get broken into from the parking lot. I then got charged $50 for taking a comforter. We did not even sleep in the beds. We didn’t even lay in them. Who would want that nasty comforter. I will never stay there again. Rude people!

Went to use the pool and there was a family with small kids and even though signs posted NO DIVING the 2 adults were diving in the pool. Employees could see it and did nothing. The pool was not clean. Room was not very nice. Definitely would not recommend.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!!! The rooms are disgusting and that is a real understatement. There are bed bugs in my bed when I let the front desk know he promptly moved me to a suit which was equally filthy with dog urine stains on the carpet, cigarette burns on the sheets and feces on the bathroom walls 🤢. I stayed in rooms 225 and 114 . The only positive thing I have to say is the gentleman at the front desk for the night had great customer service and recommend great food near by. Do not stay here they need to shut this dump down!!!!!

I am very pleased staying here at the Quality Inn. I have experienced a quiet and peaceful night here which I didn't think it would be possible anymore but it is. I also want to thank the gentleman at the front desk. He has an injury and still went above and beyond to assist me not slowing down. He assisted me greatly this morning with my check in. I will be staying here In the future as well. The rooms are very clean and decor is better than expected. Thanks

Customer service is not in their training apparently. The way the front desk clerk talked to me made me walk out and cancel my reservation and book at a better place. Absolutely disgusted with the way you treat guests. Id recommend sleeping in your car before staying here

Let me tell you Marten was the best host I’ve ever encountered at a quality inn…. He smiles through the phone and in your face … the room was not 5 star but we were just passing through but I was quite and I was given clean sheets upon request… I gave it 5 stars and would come back just for Marten way to go keep up the great work ❤️

Wow! What exceptional service! Ive probably stayed in 30+ plus hotels while traveling across the world and another 50 some while in the USA and I have never had such good service that I felt the need to right a review before. The man working today was so helpful and kind it really made my day. Thank you!

If you're looking for elevators, ya won't find em here. Decent little hotel, clearly dated; however, linens are soft and beds are comfortable. Pretty sorry work on the shower (from a contractors aspect).. but at least there's no visible mold like our last hotel. Let's see how this stay goes. Night 1 of 2.

The room was clean, except for the curtains, cosmetically it left a lot to be desired. The jets in the tub were clogged with gravel. The desk clerk at check in was great, but he kept disappearing during his shift. The outside doors cannot be accessed with a room key, and the over night clerk was mean about needing to get back into the building. The housekeeper was eating the food I forgot in the fridge when I went back for it.

Terrible customer service. The first room only had 1 bed, my reservation was for 2 beds. I am handicapped and still given the second floor with no elevator. The next 2 guests were given first floor rooms. The second room was dirty, also on the second floor. Third room on the first floor has a weird smell but I was completely done with the front desk attendant. Bag breakfast. When I brought the dirty room to the front desk person’s attention… he stated it wasn’t his job. I would NOT recommend this hotel… AT ALL!!!

My experience at this hotel was terrible. First room they gave us was a complete mess. Trash everywhere and dirty. They moved us to a second room and it was still a mess. Both beds were undone. No clean sheets and no towels were in the room. The restroom was dirty.

  • 1/5 Veronica S. 1 year ago on Google
First off our chair in the room was stained and our blanket had blood on it also a bunch of hair in the bathroom and no trash can in the bathroom. And morning breakfast was a sack lunch and the juice machine was broken . It was horrible. I do not recommend this hotel .

If I could rate this hotel with a zero star I would. I feel discriminated and maltreated when they refuse to honor my booking in the middle of the night after I waited for an hour just to be entertained and it was raining so hard. I booked in this facility using expedia. It was confirmed, when I arrived to check in I presented my driver's license with an abq address. I explained to him that when I get my license I was here in abq at that time so that is why my address is abq but I am no longer staying in that address and I just came here for a business transaction and head back to hobbs after. I told him I can present another document to prove that I am no longer a resident of ABQ, he refuse to listen and just told me that there are neighboring hotels that I can go and stay. I beg and told him I can't do it because it's raining and late at night and its not safe for a girl like me walking to look for a place to stay. I almost breakdown and feel so helpless and there was no assistance given. I will never recommend this place.
