We stayed here while our camper was being repaired. It was very clean, beds very comfortable, breakfast and the breakfast staff were excellent,(cleanest breakfast area I have seen). Front desk ladies were very welcoming and very helpful. Entire building was very clean. Bright lights in the parking area made us feel very safe. Beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains from our large bedroom window.

The location of the hotel was easy to get to. Lots of stores around that are not far. Too many homeless people walking around so walking isn’t a good idea. At least for us. The room was great real clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. The only thing about the room was the usb connection being broken or to the side so you can’t connect anything in the there. Not a good thing if you don’t have a cube for your devices

I got a suite that sleeps six on a weekend night for 160. It was easy to get to, not right off the interstate, but within two and a half miles of I-40. Good clean room. Big enough. Had a microwave and fridge that worked. The people at the front desk were friendly

It was actually a really great experience. The staff has kind and helpful. The room was odd as there was no drawers but just a closet. It was super clean. The location was far from where we were going but that's on us. Would totally stay again

this is a very commonplace I stay The staff is amazing, the cleanliness is on point. My only complaint is the closet and the bathroom. The closet is very hard to get to and the bathroom is extremely small. Other than that I absolutely love staying here. And they are definitely not reasons I will not Stay there again.

While the hotel itself was pretty good, and the service excellent we had a few issues checking in. The staff cancelled our reservation without telling us 6 hours into our roadtrip and when they called said it was policy to not book rooms for locals which what the heck does that even mean?? We had to re-book in the parking lot and they called this time to say we are going to cancel this because we do not book rooms for locals, and we had to show them our drivers license and offered to show our car registration to prove we were in fact not locals. Outside of that extremely weird booking issue, the place was pretty great. The breakfast was the standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast except the bacon looked quite cheap, the next day they did sausage and it was the usual great breakfast! I recommend this hotel, but keep an eye on your booking just in case you get it cancelled without warning.

The description for the room I booked stated it was a suite with a kitchen, but upon check-in I was told none of their rooms are actually suites nor do they have kitchens. The manager confirmed an error in the listing, but I had intentionally paid more for a room with a kitchen. The room was modern but dirty. Hairs around the sink and air conditioner vent and a blood stain on my sheets. There are plenty of other options nearby that are much cheaper that I would stay at in the future.

This was the second to last stop on a two week cross country trip from California to Texas and back, spanning nine states. Holiday Inn Express is (almost) always reliable for a family hotel and we’ve never had issues with the chain. The hotels are kid friendly, offering pools and full free breakfasts with over two dozen options. There are mini fridges and microwaves which always come in clutch when traveling with a toddler. The hotel staff were all smiles throughout our stay offering assistance whenever we needed it and greeting us every time we passed by the registration desk. Did I mention the awesome breakfast? Pancakes, scrambled eggs, omelettes, sausage, bacon, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruits, muffins, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee, and probably another dozen things I forgot. Only two negatives to speak of: 1. Upon entering the room, there were two (dirty?) towels on the couch. 2. I always inspect the room because we have a two year old and he is a toddler version of Indiana Jones, discovering hidden treasures others may have missed. On this occasion, I found a small, unlabeled pill on the floor beneath the desk. No idea what it was, but it was overlooked by the hotel cleaning staff. These things happen. Neither were enough to complain to management considering the excellent service we had otherwise. Just noted for future travelers with toddlers and staff that may stumble across this review. I will still be staying with Holiday Inn whenever possible and kudos to this location’s management staff for finding professional, friendly employees!

Ok, so as a simple hotel there is nothing wrong with this place. My huge gripe is that they label their rooms as 1 bedroom suites. I have never been to another hotel that calls their rooms 1 bedroom suites when there is not a separate bedroom. Travelling with kids who go to bed early, having the ability to separate them in another room makes vacation way more enjoyable. We booked for 4 nights and cancelled the remaining after the first night was over. Front desk had no ability to do anything beyond that. The area isn't great for walking around, and the number of homeless looking people milling around the wall outside the pool smoking meant we weren't comfortable taking the kids out there. There's nothing wrong with the hotel, but it would be nice if they would be upfront in their advertising of the rooms so consumers could make an informed decision.

I have stayed at this location several times. The property was renovated about three years ago. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of plugs and charging points. A nice desk to work on. I didn’t use the fridge or microwave. The breakfast has lots of choices including hot eggs, sausage and biscuits , pancakes.

I had a surprisingly delightful stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The front desk folks were very friendly. The room was fresh, simply appointee and very clean. The hot breakfast was far better than most these days. All foods well prepared, fresh and of good quality. This hotel is within a few minute drive of the airport, new Sandia Casino and old town Albuquerque. Well done.

LOVED our stay here! It smells CLEEEANN as soon as you enter the entrance! No muggy hotel smell. Front desk checkin was smooth sailing, breakfast had a variety of choices to select from, room was cleaned thoroughly. And security through the night. Usually stay at the one on Jefferson and I-25….not anymore! Safer, cleaner, and friendlier!

Very accommodating and professional. The room was very clean to include coffee and other amenities to make the stay comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was great to include omelettes, sausage both links and patties, cereal, milk, juice, coffee and biscuits. Overall a good stay with a Tesla charging station across the way to include an Applebee's restaurant.

Roomy, clean, good breakfast good value. Parking lot light was extremely bright and pointed at our window and the shade couldn’t block it entirely. I though it was sunrise at 2:00 AM. I’m 6’2” and has to duck for the shower. Otherwise would be five stars, all in would stay here again for sure

The layout of the two bedroom suites is TERRIBLE. These rooms are designed for up to six people. There is nowhere to put more than two suitcases without tripping over them. No dresser. The sofa bed is right inside the door, thereby making it difficult to come and go if it's open. There is only one sink, and it's outside the bathroom - hopefully no one needs to get up in the middle of the night! This layout here is unlike any Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed in. There is no space for privacy whatsoever - the bathroom has a tub/shower and the toilet, with absolutely no additional space. There is nowhere to get dressed privately. The outside lighting is so bright overnight that even the blackout shade doesn't keep it out. Multiple times I woke up thinking it must be morning, only to find out it was still the middle of the night. Will never stay here again.

Stayed here for a night on a long road trip across country! Conveniently off the thruway and close by Walmart and whole foods. Has a decent continental breakfasts, but no gluten free options. Rooms were decent but our sink was gross and hard to drain. Worked out for a one night stay. Service dog friendly. Easy check in and out!

Very convenient to where we were at. The only issues we had were small but partly due to the new design of Holiday inn. Dont like the sink out side of the bathroom, it disturbs others sleeping. The other issue is that the black out curtain doesn't completely black out the lights outside.

The poor front desk lady was quick to offer us fresh bedding and cleaning supplies after our son got sick shortly after check-in. She didn't have housekeeping staff on hand, but did everything she could to help us out (short of leaving the front desk unattended, which I understand why she couldn't). Excellent care, grateful to at least one staff member here.

Located closer to i40 and convenient. However for the reputation of this chain, the cleanliness could have been better. The room we stayed had no dust bin in the bath room, the bath towels seemed like ages old. Please replace them. Breakfast was however great and made up for the rest of things
