One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel/motel. Most places charge a $100+ deposit and the deposit is only $25 here. We got there around 10pm and the woman who checked us in was really friendly. We made small talk throughout the whole check-in process and she just gave off a warm and welcoming vibe. I was really surprised by how nice the room was for how little it cost. The night before we stayed in the worst room I’ve ever been in and paid around $100 for it and this room only cost $70 and I booked it about 30 minutes before I got there so I’m sure it’s even cheaper if you book it in advance. Most of the smoking rooms I’ve stayed in at other places are always really run down but this room was really clean and it had a stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, and a ton of cabinet space. It also had a dish strainer and ice trays. The bathroom was really nice and clean just like the rest of the room. The carpet was clean and stain free and it had a big closet area with an ironing board and iron. They really put effort into making sure that everything stays looking new and clean and it feels so much better sleeping in a room that you know actually gets cleaned. Even the parking lot was clean and trash free and well lit. The only complaint I have is when we checked out the next morning we had to wait for the front desk clerk to go check the room before we could get the deposit back so we waited for about 15-20 minutes and they said that we have to take our own trash out. I don’t know if it’s a Covid thing or what but it just seems weird because the housekeeper has took all our trash bags out of the small trash can and put it into the bigger trash can and had the trash sitting by the door so she already handled our trash and they still clean everything else we touched and slept in so I’m not sure of the reasoning behind it but it would’ve been nice if we were told that at check in or if there was a sign somewhere because we already waited 15-20 minutes for them to check the room and then we had to go back and take the trash out and wait another 20 minutes or more in line and wait another 10 minutes for them to go check the room again before we could check out and get the deposit back. Aside from that everything else was fantastic and I really don’t mind taking my own trash out I just wish they would let you know at check in or on the welcome sheet in the room or something just to save time when checking out.

The room was very filthy as well, built up grease on the stove top and coffee maker. Stains on the blankets and pillow cases and curtains, and the lamp shades. Hair all over the tub, sink and toilet. I ended up taking my own cleaning supplies in and cleaned the room myself and even then still felt very nasty and gross. Didn’t use their pillows or blankets. Threw the pillows on the floor, and used my own pillows and threw my own blanket on my bed and my kids bed and made them sleep like that with another one of our blankets to cover up. My 9 year old didn’t even want to use the bathroom there she said. I definitely do not recommend this place at all, pictures online are false! Had to room booked for 2 nights only stayed 1 night, and didn’t even want to stay that 1 night but it was super late already so we just sucked it up for the night and checked out at like 8am, and got the money refunded to me for the remaining nights and they required $100 cash deposit not card. So got that back as well.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times or studio and every time it's below average. They always up the price at the front desk. We made reservations for two weeks and could only afford to pay weekly. This is the worst part besides that - we get into our dirty hotel room beds need to be replaced the curtains have burned holes in them so we have to cover the window with a towel of our own, getting supplies here is some what easier but since I've been here before I don't bother asking for anything from this place. It gets even worse - I just want a hot shower and luckily the water in the place turns on but the water heater doesn't supply ANY hot water not even a little and not even in the sinks. I had to microwave water and boil it to get a warm bath for a week. Studio 6 amenities are distasteful for the amount of cash you just give away here. I've wondered what we even pay for and they said bills - you get practically nothing in this place and these housekeepers don't clean they just keep all the left behind items from the rooms after people leave. Security never came and checked us out when someone tried opening our door. Just go to Suburban Extended stay where it's 200 more but more than likely comfortable. This place doesn't give back deposits even if you bring your own supplies to clean and clean their rooms for them.

Dont stay here. The worst experience ever. Tried to check in early but was told to come back at 3. I returned only to be told that the deposit was 100 cash which they could have told me earlier but oh well. Left and returned with cash was told there are no rooms ready. And me and other guests are waiting. 45 minutes later I get a key to a room however it's not working. I go back to the office and the reset the key so I can get into the room. Gained access to the room but they gave me a room that WAS ALREADY OCCUPIED and the person was highly upset that I had accessed his room. Returned to the office again to get a different unoccupied room but had to wait. Finally they had a room but they informed me that there were no towels. I accepted the room 157 without towels as I usually bring my own and I discover the air conditioner is not working properly there are no blankets on the bed just sheets. Also the batteries in the smoke detector needs to be changed because it chirping. The remote is broken and I can't turn on the TV. I had reserved a non smoking room and this room smells like smoke.

Stayed 2 weeks 5 days in my room was cleaned while I was out some personal belongings of mine were taken along with the pillows horrible stay the deposit given is to pay the staff for doing their job not for damages caused whereas there were no damages caused while I stayed there room was clean and in order prior to me leaving and was refused my deposit returned I would not stay there for any reason drive a little way down the road pay a little more. Disgusting how quests are treated. Do not recommend anyone stay there.

This was quite honestly the worst motel experience I’ve ever had. I arrived around 6pm and was checked in by a female who looked like 15 years old with braces. I was given the key and went to my room three buildings away. The key didn’t work. I drove back and got a new key, still didn’t work. I went back a third time and she said, “oh ya that’s a room we weren’t supposed to book out because the door doesn’t work.” She proceeded to tell me that I would need to come to the front desk, three buildings away, every time I wanted to be let into my room. I asked how does that make sense that you are placing me in a room no one is supposed to be in and I have to come and get you just to be let in. Once again she had no response and said someone would let me in. I once again asked how does this make any sense at all. Instead of booking another room or offering any sort of helpful answer she told me, “if you don’t like it here call Orbitz, get a refund and just leave.” In all of my years staying at motels or hotels this is by far the worst customer experience I have ever received. This person did literally nothing to offer solutions and would rather have people leave. I stayed the night at another motel 6 the following day and the front desk staff was appalled that anyone would tell someone just to leave if you don’t like it here. Honestly I’d stay away from this place unless they get rid of this employee and get their act together because clearly they really do not care about you.

I’m shocked they are in business with the attitude of the front desk staff. Rude is an over statement. We asked for a bottom floor room because we can’t take the stairs and the front desk says they are sold out so we went ahead and took the upstairs room. (At 11pm, there are still many rooms open on the main floor). At 7pm our building lights were not on. Building 1 and 3 has all lights. Our building is super dark (and remember I’m on the 2nd floor). I’m seriously afraid to go outside! I watched a drug deal in the parking lot. Called the front desk to ask about the lights, she says they will be on by 8. Asked to speak to a manager and she says I can come down tomorrow and talk to Jimmy. No last name as I can’t give it out, she says. Now, about my room. Cigarette burns in the furniture, what appears to be cat scratches on the ottoman, filth in the sink and unknown around the toilet. So disgusting. The floor is so dirty, I can’t go barefoot. I’m sad I paid for a week because they won’t give a Refund. Ad said kitchenette, but not one dish, cup or utensil. Two tiny pillows one towel one washcloth and the thinnest blanket on the bed. It’s 35 degrees outside and the heater doesn’t work. They should get no stars for this place.

This hotel has really gone down hill! We have always had a great experience but not this time around. Bathroom was full of mildew, scum, and lose toilet seat. Beds were fixed but full of hair on the sheets and pillowcases. A non smoking room has ashes on the not working phone. Refrigerator was completely nasty and looks like it’s not been cleaned in awhile. Totally not up to par for someone who is immune compromised. We asked to see 2 other rooms and no difference in each one. Let alone having the neighbors watch your every move. The gals at the front desk had a child in the office using bad language, another coworker who couldn’t keep his pants up showing his underwear. All I got from the ladies was “do you want a refund?” No help to fix the issues or concerns. I got the refund and took my business to a clean facility. Good luck staying here!

BEWARE It’s a tourist trap. They will require $100 cash deposit in addition to room charge. When you try to get your deposit back the next morning, the office will be locked and no employees are on the property. Sign on the outside wall says office is closed between 6-8AM. They intentionally close the front office during the busiest time and then require $100 in cash so that you will drive away without your $100 cash. It’s an intentional trap set for out of town tourists who can’t wait 2 hours for the front office to reopen at 8AM.

I showed up for my reservation and was told there is a $100 deposit that is refunded when I check out. Not uncommon for a hotel, perfectly reasonable but then I was told it would be cash only. Nowhere on the website does it say cash only. Nowhere in my email confirmation did it say cash only. That feels like a scam to steal cash. I said no and asked to cancel the reservation and was told it was cancelled. But I did check the website after pulling away and it said the deposit is $25 for 1 night (not $100) and it doesn't say anything about cash only, and mentions you can use credit and debit cards for the $25 deposit. So I feel like I was getting scammed.

Last minute reservation desk clerk was awesome. The room was hard to find. There were no outside lights on they didn't work. Smelled funny, but we left the door open, and it cleared out. No coffee maker. Bed was so uncomfortable, but I have such a great bed at home I'm kind of spoiled. Lots of options for food close by and door dash delivers. All in all, for a quick overnight, it provided what we needed.

Staff: Extremely helpful, kind, accommodating to our needs. Room: Clean, comfortable, worth the price paid and no signs of damage or negligence. Location: Near very good food places, felt like I was safe here and so were my belongings. I would definitely recommend this location to my friends and family travelling from out of town. Thank you Motel 6 Studios!

I needed a place to stay for training at my new job for a few days. The place was clean and very well maintained! Excellent value for price in my opinion! Perfect location near food and work. Look forward for the next opportunity to stay! The room was big and plenty of space to use kitchen amenities! It was very clean and easy to keep clean. Big fridge. Cable was kinda ol fashioned but do am I! Zero complaints!

When my wife and I checked in the staff was amazing they walked me through all details and made it very pleasant. I was extremely happy that our 19 yr old dog was able to be here in the room with 7d. Our room was very spacious it included a a big dresser and chair also an end table next to the bed. We we're excited about the kitchen area there was big talk table with bar type stools, a refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, sink and stove top! There was plenty of cabinet space. The kitchen area really made our time go by smoothly. The bathroom was a good size full tub and shower counter space and area on for all our things. The room, kitchen and bathroom were very clean all the linens and towels were spotless. The parking area was awesome we're always had a place to park our van without any hassle. We loved the stay here and we'd gladly stay again. We would tell anyone to stay here before going any place else. The prices were the best the staff was amazing I'm glad we booked our week with studio motel.

Stayed for balloon fiesta, We had a great stay. The staff are so authentic - the front desk is very welcoming and accommodating, they want you to have a nice experience. They gave lots of recommendations and know all the local spots. The cleaning staff are just as nice, making friendly conversation in passing, where you leave knowing you stayed at a place run by good people. The place was clean and we felt safe. The kitchenette cabinets didn't even have dust or a crumb, you can tell they go through it all every time to clean it. Plus, we were 3 miles from the fiesta park! We walked to avoid the crazy balloon traffic, or a super quick uber away. Great place to pick for balloon fiesta 2023!

This happened last August, so I hope Team6 got their act together and made some vastly needed improvements since I was last there. To quote film star Bette Davis... WHAT A DUMP! 1. When I arrived to check in the young lady informed me that I needed to cough up $100 "Cash Only" (absolutely NO credit cards) for damage fees. I told her that this was never brought up in my Itinerary. She insisted that it was. 2. When I arrived at my room, the A/C didn't work. Also, I didn't realize that the room was already occupied......by cockroaches. 3. Next room I was given was a smoker's room. I DON'T SMOKE! More cockroaches greeted me, but the little critters kept to themselves in the bathroom. The floors hadn't been clean for quite sometime and it was absolutely disgusting. The bottoms of my feet were Jet Black. I was going to be spending most of my time out of the Albuquerque area, so I just slept there. I honestly thought that I would be checking out of there with bed bugs. 4. When I checked out the clerk informed me that I would have to wait until they checked the room for damages. At that point I kind of lost it and told the clerk that I'm a 70 year old geezer and I don't go around trashing hotel rooms. She got the OK from her mgr to "Void" the room check and I got my deposit back. What's sad about this experience is that I've stayed at this Motel 6 several times before and never had an issue. It was always clean certainly never encountered cockroaches on such a magnitude. I guess with Covid they are short on help and I'm being very generous with that excuse. So Team6 just letting you know that thanks to this wretched experience I'll be staying Quality Inn's from now and Hell will freeze before I EVER stay at a Motel 6 again. Please don't insult my intelligence by responding with standardize xerox copy apology that you send out to customers with complaints. Don't want to hear it.

I wasn’t staying here but met my friends here. This hotel was very comfortable, especially for the price. Some of the things that amazed me was the full size flat screen with remote, a working telephone, and a full size refrigerator. The room was very clean and had a fresh smell. The parking lot was well secured with security constantly patrolling. Very good hotel at a very reasonable price.

Floors were so dirty and sticky I had to hand wash every inch of the ground. Ruined my socks with filth. So gross. Looked like it had never been cleaned. Found a used q-tip on the night stand. Nightmare fuel. Only lasted 1 night of my 2 night stay. I was denied my deposit returned after the first night, because their mandatory rule is I be present on the final day to receive it. So dumb.

Cons: The room had older furniture and accommodations, coffee pot had old, used packet in maker, there was a used syringe in the parking lot ground. The woman in the front office ultimately helped me but seemed resistant at first. Pros: Great location for quick freeway access, lots of fast food and other dining options, woman in front office helped arrange a ground floor smoking room after a date mix-up, heater worked well, bed linen seemed clean, towels/toilet paper available, price was worth the cons above, in my opinion.

Had a great stay at this location. The staff is super friendly and accommodated to all my needs. Not to pricey either for what comes in the rooms. Will definitely be coming back anytime we are in Albuquerque

Don’t stay here. Only three good things can be said – the front desk guy was as helpful and considerate as he could be given what he had to work with; the bed was okay; and the toilet worked. Oh, and there was hot water. Otherwise, this place had fundamental problems: POOR SECURITY: -Neither the deadbolt nor the door chain worked. -The key cards were unreliable and had to be redone repeatedly. -The room’s outdoor light didn’t work. -Exterior building lights were not always on at night. DON’T GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR: -The "kitchen" had no dishes, utensils or things to cook with. UNCOMFORTABLE -The room smelled of smoke. -Bathroom sink and kitchen faucets were ridiculous -- sprayed water all over. -The bed was made with blanket on the bottom. -No ice trays or other means of getting ice. -Worst towels ever. GENERAL -Office not consistently staffed during office hours; phone not answered. -No instructions for calling front desk, which exacerbated all the other problems.

Honestly one of the worst Studio 6’s i’ve stayed at. I don’t recommend it at all. We were told our check in time would be 4, it ended up being closer to 4:30 because the lady told us the room was not clean but it would be by 4:30. So we waited and when we went back to check in, we got our key and went to our room. Well, the key didn’t work. So we had to go back and it took about 15 minutes to get a new key. Then when we went to the room and got in there, the room was disgusting. The beds weren’t made. There was trash from the previous people all over the room. Just a big big mess. We were upset. The lady at the front didn’t do anything about it either. She wasn’t nice. We had been staying at the Motel 6 on Pan American Fwy before we stayed here but we wanted to switch because of Studio 6 having a kitchen. Let me just say, it wasn’t worth it. The Motel 6 was a lot lot nicer and cheaper.

Room maintenance and building maintenance is substandard. Floors not properly cleaned. Bathtub not properly cleaned. Dust on top of light fixtures and refrigerator. No comforter blankets just single bed sheets. Air conditioner filters very dirty. Plumbing slow to drain in bathtub and sinks. Bathroom door not repaired correctly, has a hole in it plastered improperly. Other than those, location is great. $100 cash deposit sucks but understandable, but at least give guests more than 1 half used toilet paper roll and some blankets for crying out loud.

They refused to let us check in one hour early saying the room wasn't ready, but then tried to check us into an unclean room that still had the last guest trash, bed was stripped, no towels etc. The room we ended up checking into was not much better. We booked non-smoking, but the room wreaks of cigarettes, which is so set in even the strongest spray can't remove it. The bathtub is dirty, the corners and floor boards are dirty around the entire room. The towels are burned and feel like sandpaper. The bed sheets are stained, there's no bed skirt and the box spring is dirty from something spilled over the side, there is two flat pillows which I was hesitant to use anyways, but between that and the mattress I feel like I might as well have slept on bricks. The toilet handle is broken and overflowed the first time we used it. A lady in the front office said she didn't have a plunger but would send someone with one to our room as soon as possible, which never happened. There's no bags in the doggy area. The trash cans outside are all overflowing with trash. While the area isn't terrible the people here are not the type want as a neighbor to say the least and the window is broken.... very unsafe. The air conditioner barely blows and looks like it hasn't been cleaned since installation. If you book here, don't expect much, and good luck!

5th stay at this Studio6. This was the first time they demanded a $100 cash deposit. Three of us waited at 7 AM on Sunday morning for our refunds. Sign said office opens at 9 AM. Fortunately, I had a ride. Otherwise, there is a long walk in hot sun to return after my meeting. On previous stays, the room was cleaner. Employees are hard to come by, I get it, but I kind of expect a room that doesn't smell at all. Only smells a little is better than a lot, but...

Everything started off great then the next day an employee was knocking at the door insisting she come in the room and look around! She said it was mandatory, this is normal! I've never in my life heard of this sort of thing happening. There wasn't any complaints on my room whatsoever. but she said if we didn't let her in we had to check out without a refund and no deposit! We weren't in any position to do that So of course we let her in. She looked around as if she was going to find something wrong but she didn't and she left. My husband and I were in shock but what could we do?.. Then the morning of check out in loading up my van and while I'm in my van with it started a tow truck comes from behind and connects on to my van but almost throws me into the building! The tow truck driver tells my husband and I he wants $100 if we want him to disconnect from our vehicle! We didn't have any money we begged this man and he was so awful of a human being I couldn't believe it! We gave our deposit to him and we needed that money more than ever. The stay ended up being a nightmare I'd never stay again and anyone planning to stay beware beware beware! Look around you'll find a better place don't waste your money or time!

The front office staff and especially Jessica are awesome! I am treated like family. Jessica is always upbeat, helpful, happy and willing to go the extra mile to help! I know her job is stressful but she makes it look easy! I appreciate her and the magnet. Thank you for all you do! You need more employees like her!

Reina Cast. Review I stayed in a queen one bed room in building two for an extended tay, and hands down the best place in town. The staff is definitely the best part of this place. They are extremely friendly, and understanding. The room was spacious and clean on arrival! I don't have a car so everything I needed was either here onsite or walking distances! great part of town -[girl who stayed in 267]

I've been staying here for months during the week for work and I've only had a couple problems along the way, but Tina and Dominique have both helped me so much. They are great and have made my stay's comfortable without hesitation. The price is good and the rooms are ok. They could be cleaned a little better but other than that it's great!

Good location, very close to I-25 so convenient for getting around. But room was horrible. It was OK that the room was very old and run-down...I expected that for the price. But I had to kill 2-3 cockroaches each day I was there. The bedspread had numerous cigarette burns even though this was a non-smoking room. Coffee maker was filthy. Had a 7 night reservation (before I saw the room) and wanted to leave after 2nd night. But the staff wouldn't refund the rest of the reservation so I had to stay. And even though I paid with credit card, they required a $100 CASH DEPOSIT up front.

Everyone was very nice. Enjoy staying there. We are still there hopefully longer. Sheila the cleaning person for the rooms was awesome. Like her a lot. The assistant manager I like her she has been very helpful. I love the price range not expensive at all. Thank you all at Studio 6. Thank you, Sandra Ibuado

The room was disgusting. It was like a little kid walked around and touched everything with their sticky little hands. If you walked on the floors barefoot, your feet were completely black. I'm pretty sure they just toss in somewhat clean towels and skip cleaning all together. The sheets were filthy. So gross. The girl at the front desk couldn't care less to help you. Terrible place.

First the good. No bed bugs. Larger than average hotel refrigerator and it was very clean inside. Reasonably clean room (for a motel in this price range). Door security was good, all locks worked. Reasonably safe area of Abq. Small convenience store and several fast food places about two blocks away. Reasonably comfortable bed (no sags or bumps in the mattress). Coffee maker wasn't too dirty. Now for the bad. Roaches!!! Even by the bed, not just in the "kitchen area". Microwave was dirty (the inside top had lots of small splashes) and it stank of old food. No wash cloth, only two cheap & small towels, and only one hand towel. Front desk staffed by a young lady who was having to answer the house phone, answering her cell phone, and face timing on her cell phone. So slow check-in. They required a $100 cash deposit, which wasn't mentioned on any reservation website. They first put me in a no smoking room (I had requested a smoking room) and it reeked of cigarette smoke. Enough to make my eyes water. And I had explicitly asked the young lady if the room was a smoking room. No ash tray in the smoking room I was moved to. Which smelled better than the no smoking room. If I were to ever stay here again I would bring: my own towels etc., roach traps or spray, good toilet paper, tissues & paper towels, and cleaning supplies to clean the microwave & coffee maker.

We had high expectations of this place until we got to our room. The desk service people were nice. We paid extra to use their faster internet service. Going to our room, there where trash bags full of garbage stored under the stairwell. The room was a total disaster. Not only was it full of bugs, the bathroom had black mold around the edges. Inspite of us cleaning the room thoroughly, we brought along our own sheets to sleep on ... the mattresses were disgusting (see the photos). Loud arguments ensued all night. Two men even tried getting into our room ... very scary for women with children! Although we were planing on staying long term we checked out the next day! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
