I kinda knew what I was getting by selecting the cheapest hotel on the north end. So I wasn’t expecting much. But the room definitely could have been cleaned better. You could tell the sleeping area hadn’t been mopped, and there was a lot of hair still in the bathroom. I reserved my room ahead of time only to get to the hotel, and be told it was no longer available and I needed to pay more for a different room. Had I know that ahead of time I’d have selected a different location. All in all I was able to get some sleep, and use the shower. But this was about as basic as it gets. So if you are tight on funds, this place will work. Otherwise I’d look elsewhere.

We stayed here after the Eric Church concert & we should’ve but it was late so we didn’t, examine the sheets on the bed for cleanliness before getting into bed. When we got up the next morning, we were thoroughly disgusted when saw that there were vulgar yellowish stains that appeared to be dried semen on the bed which made it obvious that the bedding had not been changed after the last quests left the semen stains. When we reported the disgusting issue to the front desk clerk & asked for a refund, she offered to give us back $10 to compensate us for the “inconvenience”. Ummmmmm “inconvenience “? AYFKM?? In my opinion, this ordeal was much more than an “inconvenience” & we should’ve received a full refund & gift card for free nights stay in a nice Motel somewhere as a gesture of good faith & a sincere apology. I really didn’t want to stay in a motel 6 to begin with but as I said, it was late so we settled. Won’t settle for a motel 6 ever again. Oh!!! Almost forgot to mention that the elevator didn’t work so had to climb the stairs & isn’t motel 6 supposed to be an inexpensive place to stay Mr Tom “We’ll leave the light on for ya & cum on the sheets for ya too” Bodet? 😡

A renovated motel 6, acceptable and better than most other motel 6's! Rooms a bit more spacious and bathrooms are good! Functional but great for the price! 4 walls is all you need, fits the bill.

Very disappointed in our stay! We were told after check in there was no hot water. I wish they said something before so we could have had choice to stay or not. They told us it would be working shortly. I called later that night and was told hot water was back on which was a lie. Next day no hot water still. Very unacceptable! This hotel was not in very good condition also shower head was broken

My family and I have been staying here while we find a new home. Three months now. They are always so nice to us making sure we have what we need all the. Jasmine checks us in from time to time and she is always so good to us. I know if I had any issues I would be able to go to her and she would take care of it. I wish we would have gotten to see her more! Not having a home was already hard and the people here made it feel homey for us! If I ever need a motel in the future this is the place I would choose because of people like Jasmine. Also I can not forget about the people that use to make my room smell and look amazing! They have amazing cleaning staff especially Angie! I always knew when it was her that cleaned my room!

Me and my husband booked a room and AC was working but then stopped working in room so they switched us right away since I was pregnant, then the next room they put us in the ac wasn’t working at all so they again switched us and the ac worked perfectly and they gave us a room with a mini fridge and microwave for same price as without them due to the issues, then I went into labor with our baby and they were so nice to my brother in law when he came to stay with our other kids while we were at hospital. Then when we came back to hotel with our newborn the workers asked how I was and how the baby was and wanted to meet her. ❤️ they have been so amazing with us and our family, we are still staying here due to being in the middle of moving and apartment not ready yet. I’d definitely recommend here to people

Our stay was great except for when my husband went to go pay for another night, he decided to ask about the menu in our room. When we first checked in there was a motel 6 menu with a website and number to order room service off of. The person at the front said he'd never seen them before and that they don't belong to the motel. We offered to throw it out but he said to leave it since whoever put it there would most likely just put another one. We were a bit weirded out cause who would let the hotel have false menus and possibly let others get scammed. Oh and since we came in through the back entrance to our room we never went through the halls until my husband went to the front desk and that's when he said there was a horribly foul undescribable smell that was really bad in the halls.

Nicest, cleanest Motel 6 I have stayed at in a long time. They came in and changed towels and made the beds almost every day. I felt safe there and that hasn't always been true at other Motel 6. I would stay there again when we go back to Albuquerque.

Upon arrival the staff was amazing. We were greeted with a smile and it was easy to check in. The room was clean and I loved how they asked for all the adults ID for our safety. Yes the hotel is by the Freeway but you can't hear it. Over all experience was amazing!! Thank you, see you next year.

We ordered 2 rooms, when my mom whent to check in she was told that we all needed to show ID that was not mentionedon the websitewe got the rooms at. She expressed that that was an inconvenience because she ordered the rooms by herself. After she got us so the adults could show their ID's the person at the counter refused to let us use the room. So we had to find a new hotel at 10:30 at night. Shout out to the Comfort in less than 1/2 a mile away with amazing service.

BEWARE! HOMELESS VOUCHER MOTEL! Unsafe area, dirty, people screaming loudly at each other, CSI and police showed up after and argument my husband heard that morning. Dump. Avoid if you like cleanliness, feeling safe, don’t want to hear trashy couple fights through the wall, homeless people and all that comes with that as a neighbor etc. (Nothing at all against homeless people but mental illness/ drug addiction being prevalent in the community is a concern). I didn’t read all the bad reviews bc I booked through Expedia. The bad reviews were not as obvious as the good reviews. I would have never booked that place had I known.

The shower needs to be completely resurfaced in room 149 (or else it is VERY dirty)! In addition there is a loud plumbing noise when you run the shower. There also is no cell phone reception from that room, even when using their WiFi (and i have Verizon), not to mention that the phone in the room also did not work!!! In addition, they only provided one bath towel (for 3 guests), with a couple hand towels and one wash cloth. Also, no complimentary shampoo/conditioner. However they did provide a complimentary bar of soap. The room was dirty (floors). i would have pd $50….maybe…but it costed me $92. Big disappointment! Oh and the keys would only work a couple times and then we would need to go to front desk several times to get into our room. Front entry doors to the motel were not functioning well either. its also difficult to get back to hotel in the area….One of the worst rooms i have ever stayed in unfortunately.

This hotel was in a very inopportune location with confusing streets and highways around it. I got lost many times even with gps. The room itself had a toilet that wouldn't flush even when plunged. And the hotel itself was pretty expensive for a motel 6. Pool wasn't open. Probably isn't ever going to be. We didn't have a remote in our room to turn the tv on either. There are no ATMS in the building and the vending machines only take cash. All gas stations and convenience stores around the location close at 9 pm. It's awful. I was so dehydrated and my wife and I needed something to drink but we had to wait until the next morning. It's not the hotel's fault entirely. Albuquerque just isn't a good place to be if you're travelling. It's better to push through to the next city.

It’s a Motel 6. Super standard, basic motel, which is what I paid for. It was quiet. Room was clean. Staff were nice. 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons: 1. Fix your front doors! They’re literally being held together by scotch tape. 2. The water pressure in the sink was dismal. 3. No fan in the bathroom.

Would not recommend. Shady characters around the building, and no basic amenities. They are insanely strict on no visitors. I've stayed at nicer motels for cheaper. Not worth the $80 spent. Honestly only stayed here because there was no where else to go.

My credit card information was stolen at this hotel . I know because it was the first time I’ve physically handed the card to a human rather then use Apple Pay . I thought it was odd the clerk wouldn’t accept a passport as Identification she wanted my drivers license. Credit card thieves need your home address to use the card for online purchases and passports don’t have that information. Be careful at this location.

Booked two double bedrooms here for the long weekend. First of all, the front desk person seemed arrogant towards us. Then, the flush in both the bathrooms were so bad that we had to ask for a plunger in the middle of the night. Even the ac was very bad and there were no exhausts in the toilets too. Finally, tried to use the dryer but don’t know how but it stopped within 15 min.

This used to be a nice clean hotel. It has quickly morphed into a Crack house. The security exit doors don't lock so plan on enjoying a constant flow of homeless traffic as you try to sleep. If you have any issues let the staff know and they will gladly turn your complaint back on you. Oh added bonus.... they leave plenty of public hair on Bathroom floors. Enjoy your stay!

They have a policy that all adults need an ID to stay. I had mine on hand since I’m the one paying for it but my Sister lost hers several hours before reaching our destination. Not a typical policy at other motel 6 I’ve been to on the road.

Apparently, if you express dissatisfaction with housekeeping (knocking on doors 2 hours before check out time) waking you up after you spent 80 bucks for a restful sleep, they blacklist you. I did nothing wrong, I wasn't rude, and even if I were, I am spending money and the feedback should be received and utilized to build a BETTER customer relationship. But no. I went online, booked another night, and with three small kids and my car packed full of stuff, an 8th of a tank of gas, and 13 bucks remaining in my account, I arrived at the front desk to be told I am blacklisted. The incompetent manager, with whom I begged and pleaded to allow us the stay, as I didn't have gas or money to book elsewhere and my three littles were restless in the car. I even lost my composure, beginning to cry. You see, I am a middle aged woman starting over with nothing and while I've been working I am homeless and beginning a solo homesteading endeavor in the wake of a 2.5 year failed homesteading endeavor with an abusive ex. Now, I am looking for alternative options but have no money to strengthen my position, and am trying to satisfy the needs of my children... They cannot all sleep in my car.. and it will take days for the refund from her terrible mistake or overreaction or whatever that was .. deciding to penalize me for simply expressing my dislike and my preference. Housekeeping should not randomly knock on doors. They should be given a paging device to alert them when a guest has checked out. I am appalled at her lack of 1. Empathy 2. Customer service 3. Conflict resolution I intend to contact the BBB and see if that will be more of the appropriate way to voice my complaints.

While this was not the very best Motel 6 I have stayed at (and I have stayed at a lot around the country) it was very far from being the worst. It was clean, felt safe, quiet, but perhaps that was because I stayed on a Tuesday night. I was in the parking lot alone late at night with my dogs and didn’t see anything sketchy. I believe I read someone saw needles in the stones where they tried to let their dog pee, in my case I walked around a lot with my dogs and did not see anything but discarded cigarettes. I was very hesitant to stay at any of the other similarly rated Motel 6’s in Albuquerque because it really seemed like the other ones in the 3.5 star range heavily inflated their reviews with fake accounts, but the reviews at this location seemed legitimate so I gave it a try. Was luckily not disappointed and had a perfectly fine stay *Be aware in case it matters to you due to dogs, or having a lot of luggage, the ground floor rooms do not have doors to the outside like some locations, you do need to walk everything through the lobby

Felt safe and secure. Property very well lit. Room was very very clean and updated. I stayed for several days, along with my dog, and we enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet, safe and I will stay again.

It’s a decent place to stay over night. Terrible location though, kinda off the freeway. Room needed thorough cleaning but it was sufficient. Some tv channels were out or service and the ice machine was also out of service. I’d stay there for $65 a night, not $78. Other than that I’d say it’s an alright place to stay for a night or two.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when we came in to check in earlier in the day than the normal check in time. We got into the room early and we're able to get on with our day. Tina was awesome and got us a great deal too. My husband works out on the road all week and we are in the truck all day so it was nice to be able to get to a room and relax early. And Tina definitely gets an extra bonus for knowing that my necklace was a Pendulum and not just a rock!!!!

  • 2/5 Alexander S. 1 year ago on Google
Very friendly staff, but it was very loud in the building, lots of people making noise, playing music, and coming and going. All the pillow sheets except one was very dirty. It’s a bed to sleep in. We will spend a bit more next time just to get it a wee bit nicer.

My husband is a car transportation company. We decided to stay here overnight. The customer service is wonderful, our room was very clean and the temperature in the room was comfortable. The shower was amazing and we slept very well. The price of the room is great. We took an Uber to nearby restaurants in the strip mall. It was 9.00 .

My expectations were in line with Motel 6, and this place failed to deliver even that. I genuinely felt my car was at risk, and the large gate and glass barrier to check in didn’t help. The front door glass has apparently been broken so many times they don’t bother replacing it. It’s cheap plastic, taped and screwed in place. The room has extensive water damage and my allergies are horrible. I really hope it isn’t mold. It’s not quite the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, but it’s definitely the second worst.

I work three weeks a month here in New Mexico and I've bounced around from hotels to motels here. The motel 6 north is the best. The location is super convenient and the staff is always helpful in anyway they can. If you need a reasonably priced room for a night or week this is the best option without a doubt!
