The
hours
are
pathetic.
This
location
used
to
stay
open
until
11pm
during
the
week,
midnight
on
Fri/Sat
might,
and
now
they
close
at
9pm,
with
the
store
announcing
that
they
are
closing
every
5min
beginning
at
8:15.
Is
anything
in
this
town
open
past
8
or
9pm?
Its
a
joke.
These
companies...
Target,
Wal-Mart,
Lowe's
&
Home
Depot
all
boomed
during
the
pandemic,
and
were
some
of
the
only
businesses
deemed
"essential
retailers",
and
had
business
funneled
to
them
,
yet
now
cant
stay
open
like
an
essential
retailer
would.
Also,
Target
was
enjoyable
to
shop
at
because
it
represented
the
opposite
of
Walmart,
however
they
now
have
much
of
the
inventory
locked
up,
from
razers
to
toothbrushes
and
face
wash,
and
others.
So
rather
than
grabbing
something
quickly,
youve
got
3
angry
customers
standing
and
waiting
for
one
employee
to
find
the
one
with
the
key.
This
isn't
just
a
target
problem.
This
is
an
Albuquerque
problem.
Nothing
is
open
in
this
town.
Everything's
got
security
locks,
bars,
or
closed
signs
on
it,
or
off
the
shelves
because
it
will
be
stolen,
or
businesses
with
reduced
hours
and
reduced
operation
levels
because
their
employee's
and
customer's
safety
is
at
risk,
or
inventory
might
be
stolen,
or
cant
find
workers,
and
ultimately
probably
isnt
worth
messing
with
as
a
business
owner
or
corporation.
Problem
is
that
this
post-covid
economy
and
approach
by
residents
and
business
leaders
will
persist
as
long
as
everyone
allows
it
to,
and
gradually
retailers,
restaurants,
movie
theatres,
recreational
outlets,
etc
will
simply
shut
down
locations
or
pull
out
of
market
altogether.
