Cool place to get coffee! I can't believe Walter White blew the upstairs up. The repair work looks great, you can't even tell. Everything's good as new. Drink of the day was a iced raspberry spearmint latte. So unique and so tasty!

Loved the atmosphere and ambience and the staff but the food is a little bland compared to many other places serving similar fare. Their green chile soup, for example, does not hold a candle to Cecelia's. However, there are many healthy options and the price is very reasonable.

One of my favorite coffee shops. Wonderful vibe and atmosphere. I come here almost every lunch when I work. Sit down and have coffee and a pastry. The staff are warm and friendly and the entire place is kept tidy and clean. Local art which can be purchased adorns the walls. For the life of me, I have no idea how they made the color red feel mellow. Can't recommend this place enough.

Driving through Albuquerque and stopped here for a late breakfast. Ordered a jasmine tea, earl grey white chocolate chip scone and a breakfast burrito = $12! The tea was good, the burrito was great but the scone was way too sweet with the icing on top. I would recommend this place and come back again!

Excellent service was amazing! Unique art on the wall. I enjoyed the Mayan Waffle chocolatly and sweet. My son ordered bacon ,egg, hashbrowns, and toast. The location is great because it is just off the beaten path. The coffee was pleasant and clean, Creme Brule made and served by Victor. My son had a Mocha no complaint from him is good.

Easily the best coffee in the area. Breakfast burritos were delicious and absolutely enormous. Red Chile smothered is 100% the way to go here. My girlfriend is gluten intolerant and appreciated the offering of gluten free crepes, which were light, sweet, and yummy. Great staff, good vibes, and girthy burritos here.

Finally made it to Joe's Java back on Christmas Eve and I'm glad I did. It's a quaint nice little place with great coffee at a good place and they have some delicious food as well. The staff is very friendly and hard working from what I can tell. The cleanliness of the place is great too and just the overall atmosphere of the place, I love the art on the walls too. So with all that said I definitely recommend this place if you have not been.

Solid space. Got the tofu scramble and was half way through before I realized I hadn’t yet gotten a picture! Things to note: refillable coffee, reliable wifi, only two accessible outlets in the building so if you come wanting to work on a device that needs to be charged keep that in mind, lastly they tell you the cash total and if you pay with card there is a convenience fee. Check it out!

I have been going to Java Joe's for ages, never have I had a bad experience until last week when I was denied service for allegations that I stole a lotion sample. I assumed it was a case of mistaken identity since I have not taken anything from Java Joe's ,so I reached out to the owner on several platforms and telephone messages asking for the opportunity to discuss the accusations. At no point were any of my messages answered. I was humiliated and upset and as the days go by without an answer, I'm more and more angry. I was given no benefit of the doubt and no opportunity to clear up the misunderstanding. It is unlikely that I will ever try to return or recommend Java Joe's to anyone given the treatment I have received after patronizing the establishment for probably 17 years.

I'm having a hard time figuring out the math here. I ordered a salad (for $11.00) over the phone and then I picked up my salad and the total came to ( I didn't leave a tip, I prefer to leave cash) $14.55 even with the "credit card fee" that you charge people on the cash register whether they pay with a credit card or not? REALLY??? This is the receipt so you can see nothing is listed.....and by the way, they charge $2.00 for the "compostable container"(take out box) that you get to take home!. ! Put my salad in a paper sack for crying outloud!

This is a great neighborhood coffee shop/restaurant. There is live music, plentiful seating, refillable coffee and excellent food. Service is fast and friendly. The staff is courteous and competent. There are vegan and vegetarian options. Food portions are well worth the cost and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for everyday and everyone.

Quaint little hub with variety of New Mexican, sandwiches, sweet/savory crepes, bagel meals, and of course coffee. Staff was friendly and it was a good Location to get work done. Lovely wooden furniture and there is outdoor seating too. I ordered the veggie crepe and plain latte. With a two dollar tip, it came out to over 16 which seemed a bit steep- especially when the buckwheat crepe contained only tomatoes, feta, onion, spinach, a few nuts. Also no latte art or mug like some other pix show. But I encourage you to visit and check out some of the other options!

Java Joe’s is a downtown must try! It has all of the charm of a local, downtown eatery with delicious fare to back it up. Whether you’re in the mood for some caffeinated beverages, lunch items, or a unique take on New Mexican classics, there is something here for you. We were in the mood for a late breakfast so we ordered the huevos rancheros, a breakfast burrito, and two chocolate almond milks. Everything was perfect and we even purchased a bath bomb and amethyst body bar they were vending which smell incredible! Will be back soon.

Java Joe's is right. The best part of this place is definitely the coffee. The food was good but not great. The tables are small and the artwork is cute but way way way overpriced. They only take your order and bring it to you, there's no wait staff and that's OK. Small portions but tasty and priced the same as any other mom and pop breakfast place. $20 and up for a plate and coffee.

Went a couple weeks ago, thought maybe it was a one off day. Couldn’t even enjoy my food because the employees were in such a hurry to close (it was 2:30 and they didn’t close until 3:30). They were mopping the floors with some disgusting smelling disinfectant that was so strong I could taste it. So, yeah… ruined my appetite and the food because it tasted like cleaning fumes. Went again and they screwed up our order so monumentally it was embarrassing. They acted put off & inconvenienced by our request to fix it.. just a terrible experience.

Can't believe I waited 16 years or so to review my favorite place on ABQ. Food here is phenomenal, fresh, healthy, very vegan friendly. The coffee is amazing every time, lattes to just a regular cup, and they make their own plant based milks from scratch. You can get bags of coffee to go and there's even amazing skincare and candles sold here.

my new favorite place. Great menu, great quality and equally important is their concentrated effort to not use plastics in their to-go containers and their biodegradable silverware. The spot has a really nice vibe and their coffees are great. If they ever open a tap room in the evenings, they'll be seeing me more often.

I feel like I ordered the wrong thing here. The veggie crepe - which sounded divine and was ultimately the reason I decided to visit - was full of mostly uncooked veggies. (The pastries looked awesome, so I would probably stick to those next time.) The blueberry granola pancakes were fine. Coffee was good. The place has charm, but the bathroom needs a serious upgrade. A more accurate rating for my experience would probably be 3 stars, but I don't want to hurt business and would probably stop by again.

Hands down the best coffee I've had in Albuquerque. The food is pretty good, too. The interior decor is cute and artsy, and the servers seem nice. However, if you want a table don't go on the weekends. It's utterly packed, and there is no place to sit while you wait. There isn't even a place to stand, really. There isn't full table service either. The last time we went there wasn't a single open table and no hostess, so we left. Counter service is available, but minimal table service. Coffee refills are also your job. I kinda feel that for no table service the prices are a bit high. I would not consider this place handicapped accessible either. It's a small space, and the tables are placed rather close together. If you can get in, there is more room in the back dining room.

All for ditching single use. Atmosphere is nice once you get inside. I can tell this place is a hidden gem. They have regulars and they know this place is good. Not enough of their specialty drinks can come without milk. Their crepes are gluten free and taste great. Glad to see pinons used locally. They know what they are doing.

This is my favorite breakfast/ brunch spot. They have the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had, and that’s coming from a native New Mexican. They are usually pretty busy because of how popular they are, so seating can be slim, but the food is worth the wait. 10/10, I eat here at least once a week (also, they are super reasonably priced)!

The coffee and espresso is okay, but they burn the beans and you can taste it. Its like burnt and bitter, not rich and smooth like coffee should be. Some of the breakfast items are pretty yummy, but the waffle, don't get the waffle. I'm not sure what its made out of and I almost felt like I was eating a waffle shaped bath sponge. :( Yuck!

The staff was standoffish. The crepes were the worst crepes I have had in my life. They were lack luster and thick. This place seemed to try too hard at being edgy and unique. Over all I was disappointed with my experience. Plus they had this lotion sample that just smelled awful.
