Currently on a road trip from Texas to San Francisco and as usual, I LOVE to try coffee in each state I pass through. Was on food an wine magazine website reading about the best coffee roasters in each state and this shop is the winner for NM. If you'd like to truly understand how a coffee shop works and if they are dedicated to the craft or not, I'd suggest ordering an espresso shot. This one amazing drink can give you so much information about an entire business plan, the people who work there and how much they appreciate coffee. As for this shop, I'm confident that they care a lot. They have their very own special blend of espresso beans, which is always an excellent option from a legit roaster. The shot was prepared with care and they have the proper equipment for espresso goodness. The shot itself had the stunning, creamy, chocolatey head that only a perfect espresso shot can have, it's served along side sparkling water and in a lovely little turquoise blue shot cup. The flavors were very fresh, extremely clean and lacked that awful bite that even decent espresso shots have from time to time. Absolutely perfect espresso shot and I'm so excited to make some of my own when I get to Cali. I talked with a few of the shop employees and they were super friendly, very helpful and that's another wonderful touch. Keep rocking it y'all. Much love from this coffee fan to you and yours.

I had a fantastic experience at Cutbow Coffee! The staff is truly amazing, making my visit enjoyable from start to finish. I tried their iced tea with lavender, and it was an absolute delight – a perfect blend of refreshing and soothing flavors. I can’t wait to come back for more! Highly recommended!

Fantastic joint!!! From the moment you walk into the establishment, every detail awakens your senses!! From the wonderful smell of the fresh roasted coffee beans… your eyes will be tickled with fresh flowers on every tabletop, intentional, hand crafted, uniquely recycled wood for a high top community bar, the lovely wire woven seats… the walls are adorned with productions of the local creatives. Oh. Yeah, it’s a coffee ☕️ joint… not to forget the reason why we’re here. Superb coffee!! Roasted & Made to precision! And the owner is personable along with his handpicked and fantastic staff! So friendly, you’ll feel right at home! What a perfect gift in the middle of our day!

Lovely cafe! The owner studied coffee roasting for 27 years! There is a roasting machine on site. Staff was very nice and helpful. They offer regular coffees (espresso, cappuccino, etc) but also some surprising options as a tonic coffee that was delicious and a caramelized cinnamon coffee that was very good. They have non-dairy milk options which is great but no vegan bites which was disappointing. The bathroom is very clean.

These folks are 100% craft and have 100% locally roasted bean! They have interesting flavors and great combinations, several non-dairy choices on milk, plus a fabulous selection of SUPER TASTY gluten-free Bundt cake style pastries. really great old space with a modern remodel. Totally friendly and enjoyable place to spend an afternoon. If you’re looking for something unique and relaxing this is the place to go - but beware, I think they close around 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

Delicious latte and this little vegan cake thing was amazing! I picked it because it looked very chocolatey but I was super surprised at how yummy it was. Rich and tasty with a good texture and tart dried cherry bits on the top were amazing. Lovely big latte, lovely atmosphere, cool music- classical and some strange old voice stuff… also a very comfy seat! And they are lovely and friendly. 😁

Good morning, specifically to the people of CutBow Coffee & Burque Bakehouse! This local fishing themed coffee shop knows how to make a solid latte. The location has indoor seating and a makeshift outdoor patio, perfect for a lazy morning or date. They have a huge parking lot, so parking is never a problem. It’s also really close to the freeway if you’re on the move and equally close to the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park if you’re in the mood for a nice stroll.

Word on the internet street is this is the, or one of the, top coffee shops in NM. Landed in Albuquerque and had my Uber driver stop by head, so I could grab an oat milk cap. Great shop, friendly folks, tasty espresso drink. As someone that grew up fly fishing, I couldn’t help but appreciate the Cutthroat & Rainbow = Cutbow Trout name. Definitely stop by here. Worth the stop. Even got some lavender syrup as a gift for a friend. Almost has to keep it for myself and fam.

I really liked this coffee shop. The coffee, pastry, ambience, and wifi we're all excellent. Staff was very friendly and the bathroom was very clean. Not very much seating so arrive early if you're gonna stay for awhile.

Wonderful, locally owned, inviting. Do yourself a favor and get your coffee "for here" and absorb the vibrant atmosphere. Creative coffee drinks, plus all the standards well done. Enjoy!

You can tell that the good people who run this place really care. From the beautiful tiny vases of fresh flowers on every table to the curated, calming music – I'm sitting here now, and some sort of oboe concerto is playing! This place is one of a kind. The coffee is first rate – easily some of the very best in the state — and the specialty drinks are inventive and all delicious, true specialties, not just some generic seasonal syrup add-on. The pastries come from a rotating list of top-tier local bakeries. The decor is fishing themed, which might sound odd for a coffee shop, but it somehow really works! From the sea green wall to the beautiful viga ceiling, it's just a lovely spot to work or read. And the staff is always SO pleasant and kind!

Cutbow has some of the best coffee that I’ve ever had. I had the gommosita (pictured) as well as a pour over of their Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, and my wife got the café canela. All three were out-of-this-world good! My understanding is that they direct source their coffee beans and roast them in-house. The atmosphere of the shop was beautiful and inviting. All-in-all: although it wouldn’t necessarily be the only reason to visit Albuquerque again, I would definitely go back just to go to Cutbow again.

This is SUCH a precious coffee shop!! It’s probably one of the best iced lattes I’ve ever had! They have oat milk, which always wins me over. The pastries are delicious as well (says my kiddos!). They split a chocolate croissant. Only downside was the wait- we probably waited 20 minutes for our food and drink. BUT I’m willing to wait for good coffee! ☕️ And it was Balloon Fiesta weekend, so I’m sure they were busier than usual!

This was an abrupt stop after brunch, and it was definitely worth the visit. The specialized menu included handcrafted coffees, the cortadito was sharp and robust, and the classic breve latte was accentuated by a crafted vanilla and lavender syrup. Our order taker was super friendly and efficient, and the shop was so vibey. Definitely snag a selfie on one of their decorated walls.

Excellent coffee and good atmosphere. We visited on a Friday morning, and seating was a bit hard to find. Our cortado and latte were excellent, but our scones were hard and cold. Even the serving plate was cold. I asked for mine to be heated some, which improved it, but I'd be wary of the pastries if I returned (which I definitely would if I lived close).

Absolutely beautiful coffee shop off of Rio Grande near Historic Downtown; I walked in today to hear the owner of this shop laughing with his employees, and a beautiful roasting aroma in the air. The coffee and tea are fantastic, and the flavor and quality is something that Cutbow Coffee very obviously prioritizes. Gorgeous spot, lovely owner, great product. One of Albuquerque’s best.

Cute, locally owned coffee shop that also sells locally made pastry. Everything is rich and delicious. Not much indoor seating, but the atmosphere is relaxing and has a contemporary fishing motif for lack of a better explanation. Outdoor seating is available but it is basically a rock/gravel parking lot with a tent and there's lots of road (and currently construction) noise.

I’d say this is the best coffee I think I’ve ever had, and I’ve had coffee all over the country at local places. I got the Mocha now three days in a row. Owner replaced my drink too after I mis-ordered my own drink, very nice and thoughtful. Can’t recommend Cutbow enough

This place is so cozy, comfortable, and friendly. I absolutely love coming in. I am usually greeted with big smiles and friendliness. The owner (I believe) looks so happy and friendly that it really is contagious. One time I was with a friend chatting for a while and he brought us over some iced tea for free. It was so kind and generous. I have nothing but positive experiences here. It is a special place to me as it feels so welcoming.

Picked up a pour over and hot chocolate. My daughter thought the hot chocolate was great. The pour over was pretty good. I’m pretty picky about specialty coffee, so for me 4 out of 5 stars is pretty good. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Loved it! Got an americano and their espresso is smooth and rich in flavor. Great decor and vibe and the team there is super friendly and goes above and beyond taking our order to us outside and patiently giving recommendations when I had questions. For how fancy and classy it feels, prices are totally reasonable and below what I expected. I’ll make a point to visit whenever I’m in the area!

Best cold brew in town at a great price. Staff is superb and remembers you day to day. My go to location for coffee on my days off. I just wish they were open earlier in the day so I could go before work! Also dog friendly 🐕
