Great tasting food! The Southwest Bennie tasted awesome. Dessert options are🤤 when pairing with some nice coffee.

We went and had a piece of cake. We thought it would be a great place to come for coffee in the morning, but we didn’t make it back while in Albuquerque.

It was crazy busy, but the staff was super efficient. The manager was on the floor delivering food and answering questions like a real leader should. Food was good but coffee was better. Will come again

I have to say, this is probably my favorite place to eat in Nob Hill. I usually pick up but every once in a while I like to eat in, have a couple mimosas and enjoy the view. The food is always delicious - seriously have no complaints. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Very displeased with my experience here. I ordered coleslaw as a side for my grossly overpriced impossible burger. Food runner, guy with tied back dark brown hair, brings the food and tells me there is no more coleslaw available and “if” I want a side (which I paid for) I can ask for something else. I asked him for my options and he didn’t know. He goes and gets a menu and reads off fries, onion rings, salad, etc. I tell him onion rings sound great, and his response is “but you would need to have paid a dollar more.” So at this point I’m thinking, am I supposed to get up, leave the table while my family member sits and eats, walk to the order line and pay them a dollar when I’m already inconvenienced with no side and my burger was getting cold. Our check for 2 people was $55. That included two burgers, some cauliflower wings and 2 lemonades. Seriously, I already paid $55 and this jerk makes a big deal over a dollar. Funny thing is the other person in my party had already purchased onion rings. Turns out they were cold, hard and were probably made many hours prior. Nevertheless, this guy should be proud he saved his restaurant a dollar, but unfortunately the restaurant lost a customer.

The service was really fun and Speedy there was a bit of a line however they got through the rush . Everything look delicious from the pastries, to the drink menu, to the food menu. I tried the turkey pot pie the biscuit was Fluffy and moist and delicious. I also tried the Buddha bowl with fried tofu. It had marvelous flavors throughout from the veggies that they included the tofu was delicious the wanton and the sauce that was drizzled on top would highly recommend getting that for vegans or vegetarians. Would definitely go back.

I enjoyed visiting a friend here and we were comfortable, our table was constantly bussed, the place was always being swept and clean. The food was great, nice to have vegan options for my friend too, including great chocolate cake. Atmosphere was comfortable and a good place to talk and enjoy company.

16.50$ salad without tax -ordered to go. I have ordered the salad in store many times and it is at least seemingly much larger when ordered “for here”. I know they have big leafy greens and giant strips of tofu so I went to the front to ask about the leafy greens and tofu and they not only seemed bothered by my question, and then blamed another coworker openly for forgetting to include croutons (which I didn’t even ask about). I was just disappointed with the staff how they handled the situation and the amount of food that pales in comparison to when ordering in person. I hope this is something that can be reviewed by the manager of the location as I have not experienced this at other Flying Star locations.

Delicious food with varied menu. This eatery is so clean and very well run by the staff. Every single employee was more than helpful no matter what we needed. Will definately return on my next visit! Thank you to a first-class business. 👍😋

One of my favorites in ABQ. Food is high quality and unique. Great space to work remotely for a bit too. Try the Mexican Latte!

I can't believe I've never reviewed this place before. I've been coming here since this was Double Rainbow. This is the original, the first, and still one of the best coffee shops/bakeries /dining establishments in Albuquerque. It's well worth visiting. Stroll Central/ Nob Hill, see the variety of stores, watch the people, meet friends for a pastry and a laugh. This is a place that puts the good in life. And if they still have it on the menu try the bread pudding, it's amazing.

Excellent! If you are from Albuquerque or visiting, make it a point to eat here. You will not be disappointed. Food is fresh and full of New Mexico flavor. Highly recommend!

I love the Flying Star! This was my college hangout. I used to study here & have unlimited coffee. Now, I just meet up with friends & enjoy the pastries. My favorite dish is the Buddha Bowl. I get it with tofu!

Went for breakfast. Huevos rancheros (pictured), breakfast burrito and green chile burger all very good.

Sunday morning breakfast was great. Ordered the non-gluten pancakes and they were really tasty. Coffee could've been hotter but they have a refill station that allowed free top off. Service was good - no real checking in with you once your food is delivered.

Dined in for breakfast on our way to the airport. Southwest Bennie was a bit heavy, but what can you expect when something is smothered in queso! The green chili really shined, but was not so overpowering that it was all you could taste. I really liked the eggs and the English muffin was great. You order at the front counter and get a number for the table at fist come first served seating. The folks taking orders were friendly. The dining room itself is showing some wear and tear. I get the impression they churn through a lot of people most of which are likely college students. There was also a really off-putting smell near the restrooms. For my review it was 5 for food and 3 for ambiance/establishment so I met in the middle at 4.

Had the chicken couscous, which was good. My wife had the Californian Melt & loved it. Mint cookie was okay. Nice place for a quick stop.

This place has amazing food, desserts, and drinks. My first time here and it has a very big coffee house feel where you could just relax for however long you want. Only thing I would recommend is a sign on the big menu that prompts you to the counter to order because the cashier just kind of looked at us leaving us wondering if we sit at a table or go to the counter. Definitely will return to eat here again.

A frequent Flying Star regular specifically for the Cauliflower Wings and Blueberry Pancakes. Had the blueberry pancakes two days in a row which was a great choice. Only complaint was the size of pancakes greatly differs based on whose in the kitchen. The pancakes in the photo were smaller than usual. Coffee is also really good, just brought out in glass cups when ordered hot, which means a longer wait time to drink waiting for it to cool.

Great service. Excellent, caring, attentive staff who cares about their patrons. Great manager. He hires the best. Now. What happened to the best pie in NM??? ... Coconut Cream Pie... The best date pie... shared between lovers ... we all love pie. Dont we?

The coffee is good. They don't care that I have a backpack. The coffee is priced correctly for quality of iced coffee. It's clean. They are friendly. They are likely understaffed like everywhere else. I'm not here to be a jerk. I'm just an average consumer. I feel like my rating is fair and not slanted.

Delicious a bit small for a meal. Was still kinda hungry. It's a really cute place! Looks extremely student friendly for studying and group study's.
