Best Taqueria in Albuquerque!!! Everything is perfectly cooked. The meats are tender and well seasoned. Salsas are delicious (be careful with the red). My only request, can you please put a location in the heights?! I would be there every day!!!!

I wanted a hole in the wall Mexican place because I finally always have the absolute best Mexican food when it comes to authentic food I love their taco de Lengua. I also had a shredded beef and potato with red chili burrito which was so moist and tender. You could also get the old style Cokes here which I dig when I’m eating Mexican food in.

The best tacos in town, undisputed! The meat is cooked to perfection, salsas are delicious, and prices are fair. The only place I even care to get tacos anymore. My only wish is that they accepted card payments & packaged their salsa differently - but I’m not deterred by that whatsoever, 10/10!

Melon agua fresca was delicious. Al pastor tacos really hit the spot. Tortilla chips weren't on the menu but ask for them! They are great.

It's really an experience to visit this restaurant. It made me feel like I was in Mexico. They have this old car inside the restaurant. I believe it's a Ford model T.

This place is extremely generous with their meat portions and the food is excellent. Totally worth the hype.

Quite literally the best street style tacos I have ever had! The meats are delicious and I could drink the salsas- they’re that good. The woman who took my order was so so sweet and the food came out within 10 minutes. I don’t typically leave reviews but this taqueria blew me away and deserves the recognition.

Cash only! Hands down the best meal we had in New Mexico. It is the definition of a hole in the wall, but the food was amazing. They have a variety of burritos, gorditas, tacos and menudo only on Saturday and Sunday. We ordered five different tacos and they were all good. The menudo was so amazing and filled with lots of organs I couldn't name. The horchata was good too and comes in a giant cup. I suggest ordering more than you think you'll eat. It's so cheap! I would have ordered more, but didn't want to wait another 15 min for food. El Paisa has a steady line of customers and it takes a while to get your order. Definately appeals to the working class, but everyone needs to look past the decor and come here.

Amazing food and prices. Both salsas are delicious! I usually get the gorditas with asada and Al pastor. They come with beans. Everything on the menu is worth trying. I tried to do a phone order but they forget I was on the phone. So, just stop by and place your order.

Here's a New Mexican staple of the South side of Albuquerque. Comfort traditional authentic Mexican food and great service. I love everything I've ever ordered here but my absolute favorite is the Gorditas especially with flour tortillas. I live 20-30 minutes away and this place is worth the drive. BTW it's a cash only establishment.

Wow! Exactly what I was looking for. Had the asada tacos. I'm definitely going back to try just about everything. Look at that menu!

I came here because I was nearby, and this was the first place I ever ate in ABQ before moving to NM 1 1/2 yrs ago. I came back here specifically because I remembered ordering the sandia aqua fresca and LOVING it. It did not disappoint one bit. I would recommend this place solely on that beverage. So good! I just had a very long day and was parched and it really hit the spot. Luckily I got the drink right away, but waited a half hour for the food (busy time, around 7 PM, and all the tables were full). The gordita was ok (kinda messy and too much tortilla for me), but the al pastor tacos were REALLY good. Delicious salsa. Friendly staff. I love this place, but think I might not go if it was crowded. Was really anxious to get home last night.

Best tacos in town, by far. The food is amazing and fresh, just be aware that they are cash only. I had 6 tacos and felt really full, probably could have been good with just 4. But they're so cheap you might as well get more. The melon aqua fresca was to die for. So delicious.
