Typical, adulterated, flavorless, all American coffee bean quality. All the artificial, toxic colors, sugars and flavors one could ever wish for. If you want flavored, over sweetened caffeinated beverages, you are in the right place. If you just want a good cup of fresh, real coffee, it isn’t going to happen here. At least Starbucks can tell a customer where their beans have been, how old they are, and where they originated. At least Starbucks knows their coffee. I can’t say that about most “coffee houses” in America today.

Open at 6am and that's a great thing. I stopped in this morning for an hour or two of early morning work, a quick Zoom call and my first coffee of the day. Clean, quiet, comfortable. My latte (no cortado) was excellent and with it, a cinnamon roll that was amazing. The seating was good, the coffee shop was lovely and I would be happy to return.

Was my first time here and wanted to try something new .. but as soon as I walked in the 2 employees looked like they were annoyed when I asked if the Mexican spicy Latte was pretty good? I didn't know what to get so I got that.. no greet. No thank you .. nothing .. when I asked for a straw one of the girls looked at me and put the straw on the counter when I was reaching out for the straw. I felt unwelcome and don't think I will come back again. Starbucks employees are a lot nicer but wanted to try something different :(

Have been wanted to taste Piñon Coffee House and I wasn’t despondent, Mi Amor Latte was delicious. I wish we had a location in our beautiful city of Chicago too.. Can’t wait to go back and try them all 🤗

My wife and I moved to NM a few months ago and stopped in for some coffee. Coffee is great and service is even better. Chloe and Lilly, especially, are the reasons my wife and I start off nearly every day on the right foot. Would highly recommend others stop in and make this a part of their morning routine or a once-in-a-while treat yo'self visit. I hope management/owners of Pinon take the time out to recognize the staff at the Alameda branch for their hard work and daily kindness.

Don't waste your time at s****u*s!!! This needs to be your new local spot. I was gifted a bag of biscochitto coffee for my birthday. This quickly became our favorite. I was super excited to come into town and check out the shop.. The experience lived up to my expectation and then some! The service was spot on as well as the latte I ordered. I got a biscochitto late and the biscochito donut is a must order 🤩 they also have some cute things to buy for a gift for someone who loves coffee to try some unique and amazing coffee or swag. I hope you start making a few more dark roast options too :)

Bad experience. Been ordering drinks from here for work for a while. Love atmosphere and the coffee, but the staff seems really bothered that you are there. Asked for extra milk and foam in my drink, acted like it was a big inconvenience, then just ignored me anyway -- even though I tipped almost 100% tip on my drink. Not sure if the two young women behind the counter were just having a bad day, or if they need a lesson in customer service. But I'm not likely to frequent Pinon Coffee House any more.

This place is always amazing. The baristas are so welcoming and actually care about your day. One even helped me through the menu. I also love that they put iced coffee cubes in their cold drinks so your iced coffee doesn't get watered down.

First time coming to their main location! Accidentally went to the office location last time. They had excellent service, did realize she had a line going but told us she would be with us shortly, despite being on her own, she was surprisingly fast. Definitely management material from the bit that I witnessed! When she got to us, she took our order swiftly and kindly. My brother ordered a basic frozen caramel latte and I ordered the frozen limited edition blueberry cobbler latte with soy instead of milk, which I appreciate as someone with a pretty serious case of lactose intolerance. The place was very adorable, clean and organized. Definitely a place I would recommend. My brother enjoyed his latte in this hot weather and enjoyed the coffee flavor mixed in with the caramel which he has missed due to what's getting Starbucks with our mother or something simple at home with lots of simple creme.

The coffee is five stars.... But A little frustrating, everytime we are handed our lattes they don't have drizzle on them. They are supposed to come with it and when we request it after it's handed to us they say "oh you want drizzle" well duh. Plus these baristas/workers have very little customer service. I'm not asking to be on the level of Dutch Bros (a little overwhelming sometimes) but be atleast friendly. Also one size straw for all sizes of lattes? Very inconveniencing when the straw goes down to the bottom of the cup and you have to fish it out. Please get bigger straws.

I was hoping that I would like this place better than Starbucks. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I do. Nothing special about their coffee quality or drink making. I hope they rethink their offerings, as well as the digital menu display.

Super disappointed in our quick stop at Pinon Coffee today. We ordered online to speed up the experience, and while we were waiting, they started AND finished the group of 5 that came in behind us before starting our drinks. My Albuquerque Fog tasted like it had no syrup and was luke warm, they said it would "be a while" for my daughter's ice Albuquerque Fog, because the barista "already steamed the milk...." So, what does that mean? There's not more milk? She settled for hot, because we were in a hurry. Even my husband's coffee wasn't hot. I like to support local, but do better Pinon.

Absolutely love this place! Their maple walnut lattes are such a perfect treat. The staff is wonderful and friendly. If you're looking for local and looking to avoid the typical chain coffee stop- make sure to stop in here. It's sure to be on your list of favorites.

We got the Biscochito iced latte and the maple walnut iced latte. Some of the best coffee we’ve ever had. Definitely worth your time to come and try this amazing coffee!

We ordered Mexican spiced coffee and matcha. Both were very good. Also had a scone and yogurt parfait. The scone was perfection, not too dry and not too sweet. The parfait had everything you'd want and tasted great. The young ladies who work there are friendly and fast. It's a place I'd go out of my way to find again. Thanks!

I love this place. Across the street from Starbucks, but no competition to the selection of delicious coffee. Service is always spot on, and a chill atmosphere. Get there early if you want one of their yummy pastries!

The coffee is delicious! But the people that work there need to work on their customer service. They don’t greet you and when you ask them about a drink they answer you like if you are in convincing them. Overall I just flat out don’t feel really welcomed when I go in.

Had the Medicine ball drink, a mix of beetroot and lemonade. Added about 8 more ounces of water to cut down on the sweetness. Red chile veggie burrito was good. Would def order again

The staff and the coffee are amazing. My husband and I come here almost daily. The pistachio latte and Mexican spiced chocolate are to die for! The staff is always incredibly nice and welcoming. Everything is always made quickly and perfectly. We love this location and highly recommend it to everyone we know.

The manager Lilly, was absolutely amazing. You can tell she really cares about her customers, I told her I needed to get an oil change soon and she rolled up her sleeves and changed the oil in the parking lot, and afterward she even did my taxes. I highly recommend you get your coffee from Piñon Coffee house!

Very kind staff and very good coffee. I never feel pressured to make conversation here if I'm not feeling it. They are very fast and will usually have your drink ready within a couple of minutes. There are plenty of seating options, and it is always clean.

It was my first time coming to this establishment and when i walked in i wasn't greeted at all and the young lady that took my order was very short with my and my wife, wouldn't even look at us when taking our order.. coffee was fine but the customer service left a bad taste

The honey lavender iced latte is easily the most delicious latte that my tastebuds have ever been blessed with! I’ll order it every so often. However, I normally just get an iced coffee with oat milk and a can of nitro cold brew. The coffee ice cubes that they include in any iced drink just compliment what is already perfection. This is my go to place when I need to pick me up!

Went for breakfast this morning. I was very disappointed in the quality of my order. I received a broken cup, so my drink leaked over myself and in my car. I didn’t realize the cup was broken until after I left and I was driving, then I picked it up to take a drink. At first I thought it was just the condensation dripping on me but my cup holder was filled, and my drink was already halfway gone and I only got one sip. I also ordered a burrito and the green chili stems were still inside my burrito and it was an unfortunate surprise.

I personally love coming here to get my coffee before work. It takes less time than a Starbucks drive through and several of the girls here are nice, though two of them not so much. I usually get the same drink and when I'm feeling adventurous I ask for a drink recommendation. One of them said well you usually get the Mexican Spiced Chocolate Latte, I think you should try the Adobo Morning. I was shocked that she remembered what I typically order and was helpful in trying something new. This is my favorite little coffee shop that, in my opinion, has a better atmosphere than Starbucks. You've got to try the biscochito donut, it's my favorite and it's only $1!

I love to visit local coffee shops in town and while traveling and Pinon Coffee House is one of my favorites, especially this location! I come in often and the staff is always happy and friendly. They remember my order which makes me feel special. My favorites are Honey Lavender Latte (iced), Biscochito Latte, and the Golden Medicine Ball. I recommend Pinon to coworkers, relatives, and visitors from out of state, they all give great feedback therefore I will continue to recommend. The coffee packs and merchandise are great for gifts as they represent New Mexico. I prefer to keep things local, so Starbucks tends to be last on my list of recommendations. Oh one last thing this location is super dog friendly. They treat my dog like he's one of the regulars. He loves the pup cups! Which are also better than the others we've received with fresh baked dog treats (special touch).

I would say I'm a regular with Pinon coffee, but only for the Alameda one. They have the best consistency for recreating yalls drinks to a T everytime. And they are also fantastic at fixing bad drinks. See attached pictures. Thanks for the best spritzers!
