Fantastic little cafe food. Excellent and quick service. I had both breakfast and lunch today at the cafe. I had the breakfast burrito and then the pastrami sandwich for lunch, both were excellent options that I would recommend. The only thing keeping my review from 5 stars is that nothing specific about the sandwich is trying something new, but is rather something I could make at home. It’s simple, good food, which to me warrants 4 stars. While I didn’t order the coffee at this place, I don’t reckon it is anything special, which as others have stated is odd to me given “coffee” is in the name.

Friends Coffee & Sandwich Shop is a hidden gem here I Albuquerque😁 It's small and quaint but it is all you need for a quick delishious breakfast or brunch little meal. The breakfast burritos are amazing and they have a variety of snacks/pastries. Also the owners are very polite and will make you laugh. So all that said I definitely recommend you stumble into this gem and take my word, because you won't be disappointed 😎

You feel so comfortable and at home there. They are still fast and professional. Yet they keep it personal. This definitely going to be a regular spot now that live here in Albuquerque. The food reflected this comfort.

I work security at the plaza and finally worked a morning shift so they were open. The breakfast burritos are delicious, coffee is good and hot, served with a personable experience that makes you walk out with a smile! 10/10 recommend if you are in the area. Can't wait to work a morning shift again so I can try a sandwich!

We felt very welcome when we Arrived and ordered the breakfast burritos with a coffee. The green chile was very flavorful and the cheese was perfectly melted in between the other ingredients. All that for the low price of 3.99 for one with basic ingredients was a great deal and the coffee was amazing. Definitely stop by for an awesome breakfast with these guys.

Good food and nice portion size. The owners are so kind and when I worked in the Galleria office building they were are only choice, thankfully it was good food. Only downside is they seem to close for days at the most random times. So always check if they are open before going.

Went here the morning after we got married and when we walked in they assumed we were pick up orders, called us by the wrong name, and then didn't help us for 10-15 minutes but proceeded to finish the call in orders. Left hungry with no food.

That was a really really excellent breakfast sandwich. On wheat toast, a couple scrambled eggs, thick thick slices of tomatoes with onions and hot sauce. Hold the cheese and green chili and add zucchini. Excellent! Really good smooth mellow coffee. I really love the food here. Very close to the Double Tree and Downtown’s Civic Plaza and the Convention Center. Not far from most downtown hotels. I walk over from 11th. If they say a 30 min wait it is worth it.

Very small, cozy, and friendly shop. The coffee was ok but nothing special. Which is why only 3 stars if it says coffee in the name it better be great. I'd stay in my room at the hotel and get the same thing. But me and my girlfriend got a couple breakfast burritos there that were made very quickly and were everything you could want out of a breakfast burrito.

Went there for lunch and they were out of bread . . . How can a sandwich shop be out of bread?? And no real coffee options. If you are looking for a great coffee experience, try a nice place a few blocks north on First St. It’s easy to find on Google maps.

Small menu, but the food and iced tea are great. The service is outstanding—very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast burritos were just what I needed.

June 6th Monday morning 8am the place wasn’t open. Not sure if it’s closed or something else. Check before you go.

Everything out this place is wonderful but beware of the rotund security guard outside I used to skate around that area at night and he saw me eating and basically sat there and watched me the entire time ten feet away and the minute I took my last bite his flashlight was in my eyes and he was telling me to leave I'd just recommend avoiding the inner plaza altogether however it's sad to see that he's about to do what he did to the subway store considering that's a big reason why a lot of people come there especially lot of the skaters who show up at Civic plaza just down the street and then go over for food but hey I guess it's more important to let him discriminate against skaters but let all the bicyclist show up

Hours on Google Maps and Posted on the door say M-F 730 am- 2:00 pm. It's 11:30 am on Tuesday and it's closed. We walked down here from our hotel and now have to find another place. Unacceptable

Friendly is right! They took my order and made sure it was customized to my liking. Good coffee. Fast service. It's not a sit down spot per se but great for grab and go

Nice to find this small cafe for breakfast. Great breakfast burrito, with many add-in options and inexpensive too. Very friendly staff and owner. Much nicer deal than the very expensive hotel restaurant breakfast! They also make an assortment of sandwiches for lunch too.
