Great service, nice facilities, & good food! What more can you ask for? First time eating here but won't be the last.

First time eating there food is great. Highly recommend eating there. I ordered the Indian taco and damn it was delicious! Service real friendly and there was also a gift shop a lot of cool stuff. I will be dining there again.

A couple years ago I (Knotty's Custom Carpentry) was working on a property flip in the south valley, the owner brought us burritos from Abuelita's... they were so good and hearty!!! Post pandemic shut downs; we decided to go out for Saturday morning brunch to Abuelita's. I ordered the tortilla burger w/ green and substituted rice & beans for the fries. My wife ordered Huevos Rancheros w/ christmas and papitas. While we waited for our meals we enjoyed their choos and salsa. Very fresh and delicious salsa (needed a little salt for my palate)! Our meals arrived promptly; as our service was excellent. Never went without needing; as the staff was very attentive to the guests. Though I prefer a more rare meat, my burger was moist and flavorful. Nice job! Nothing worse than a dry burger. The green chili sauce was very well done. Lots of body, nice depth, and great balance of heat. Some of the best I've tried in quite some time. The beans were good, though slightly undercooked (THUS 4 STARS) and the rice was simple, but good. My wife's meal was equally satisfying. The red chili sauce was not bitter as done red has a tendency to be. It was smooth and well done. I'm glad I was able to try the burrito as it was our reason to dine in house. We will return. ***BONUS*** They were very clean, friendly, polite, and courteous. They also have a quaint little gift shop with unique items to decorate your home or to send to someone from out-of-state. Recommended

We have been coming here for years. That is till today. My wife our daughter and I went in this Saturday May 28 around 11:45. The young girl who gave us our drinks was real nice. We wait for the waitress to take our order she never did. People came in after us and received their food before we could order. The waitress keep walking by us and never looked at us. Talked to the manager and told him we were leaving and wanted to pay for our drinks. He told me that was okay , just leave. My daughter was filling out a comment form the manager saw her and told my daughter that he would take the form and put it in the suggestion box. My daughter took it with her. I would rather eat at Taco Bell than here!! I am so mad after being treated like that.

Recently, indoor dining was reopened and I have been anxiously awaiting trying this restaurant location, having recently moved to the Los Lunas, NM area from Commiefornia. I ordered an Abovada Burrito and my elderly mother ordered a 2-taco plate. Fresh chips and salsa were immediately delivered to the table with drinks. Within 10 minutes, food was delivered to the table as well. Food was hot, fresh, perfectly prepared. My burrito was smothered with red and green chile sauce, wonderful to the taste. Meat was tender, rice was very flavorful. Mom had no complaints with her tacos, as they were prepared with shredded beef, rice and refried beans on the side. A nice meal was enjoyed and definitely will be back to this wonderful location. Servers were awesome, always ensuring I had plenty of iced tea, napkins, took payment while we were finishing up our meal so there was no wait. Definitely an 11 out of 10.

Worth the trip to the south valley. BEST NATILLAS EVER. I've never been disappointed here.

Quirky but yummy. The food was very New Mexico, but the red chili was not my favorite New Mexico red. The steak fajitas, at 5oz of meat, were small, but it was enough. I guess we're used to leftovers, which this didn't have any other than the generous portions of beans and rice, but the price point was right at $15. My daughter got a fry bread (I believe) taco with shredded beef and it was enormous and delicious. They have good salsa with the chips. They also have a little gift shop that feels like a thrift store. Lots of cute little knickknacks. Definitely planning a return. The interior was very clean and beautiful.

This is my dad's favorite place to eat and every time I've joined him and my family to eat it's always been great!! Every time I go I like to order something new, but it's always a New Mexican dish but this time I stepped outside the box and ordered the Patty Melt. Omg, it was mouth watering good! I love their food and everyone is so nice and friendly. Miss Kathy is the best!

It was a very pleasant surprise, the food was delicious and well served, we had huevos rancheros, tacosopaipilla and a dish with a taco,tamale and enchilada with rice and beans and everything got to our table at the same time, they keep our coffee cup full and the people that works there were really nice, it was our first time here and we'll be back !!!

Food was good. Service was a tad slow but super super friendly. Place was cute . This was the south valley location. Clean place. We got the flautas , they were tasty. Sopapillas were really good. Navajo taco and chicharrone burrito were also great. Would eat there again.

We absolutely love this place. It is truly like eating at grandmas. It is clean and has a great atmosphere. The staff is amazing and their service is fast. I recommend this place to my family and coworkers and they have not become frequent patrons. Love this restaurant!!

The plates are big and the food was great can't wait to go back for more or something different on the menu

Delicious food, excellent chile, brought a quart of red home! Will definitely be back to this location. The Bernalillo location closes too early!

The service was excellent, and I felt well taken care of. I was excited when I laid eyes on my chile relleno plate. The flavor of the chile was good, but I think the batter-to-chile ratio was lacking (too much batter). Didn’t finish the rice and beans. Rice was dry, and both rice and beans were bland, mediocre at best. Sopapillas were good - they were already sweet without the honey.

I ordered enchiladas with ground beef and they brought shredded beef. They told me they couldn’t make another plate but they brought 3 enchiladas with ground beef with double the hot chili to put into my existing plate. we also ordered a bowl menudo and that menudo was not cleaned it had grassy smell and it didn’t taste like menudo. Terrible experience wouldn’t recommend to anyone. $80 dollars. And those girls did even try to make it right

This location is 1,000Xs better than the one in Bernalillo. The food, atmosphere, & staff were stupendous. It's very clean too. I had a combination plate & I'm not a big eater and I ate most of it. They serve so much food. My order came with 2 sopapillas included!! YUM!!

Abuelita's its sad to say this but, in the span of about 3 weeks of visits, the prices jumped quite a lot, and the portions dropped. On the prior lunch visits we were able to have take out boxes. This time we did not. I can say with confidence that this will be our last visit. I understand that prices have climbed everywhere, but usually the portions stay the same. Happy trails Abuletua's its been an ok ride over the years, but not that great. Maybe there are other people in the south valley who can't live without you. But as for me? There are other eateries.

I ordered the a chili relleno dinner. It was very good. My Husband ordered the Enchilada dinner. He loved it. I had so much food I had to take it home with me. My Uncle had the Green chili stew. He let me try it. It was so good I took an order to go!
