So
early
this
year
my
girlfriend
(Laura)
and
I
drove
to
California
and
back
from
Auburn,
AL.
It
was
a
long
trip
and
got
to
go
to
tons
of
cool
places
one
of
which
was
this
coffee
roaster!
It
was
actually
pretty
serendipitous!
We
just
happened
to
be
in
Albuquerque
in
the
early
morning
hours
and
I
saw
that
nearby
there
was
a
coffee
roaster
that
had
outstanding
reviews
that
also
gave
tours
of
their
roaster
and
had
HUGE
mountains
of
bags
of
raw
beans.
I
wanted
to
surprise
my
girlfriend
with
a
better
experience
than
just
a
normal
coffee
shop
so
I
plugged
it
into
the
GPS.
We
got
there
and
it
was
a
really
small
operation
but
the
people
that
worked
there
literally
lived
for
coffee
and
you
could
tell
they
knew
possibly
everything
to
know
about
different
beans.
They
were
quiet
and
reserved
at
first
but
warmed
up
to
us
pretty
quick
and
were
more
than
happy
to
answer
all
of
our
questions
and
show
us
around.
They
took
us
in
the
back
and
showed
us
their
coffee
roaster
and
we
got
to
meet
the
only
guy
who
roasts
the
beans
there.
He
told
us
he
roasts
it
by
smell
rather
than
by
time
or
by
sight
and
has
been
roasting
coffee
for
25+
years!!
It
was
nuts!
Anyway
the
coffee
was
surprisingly
cheap
for
freshly
roasted
coffee,
like
8
or
9
dollars
a
pound
and
they
had
like
20
to
25
different
coffee
bean
varieties
from
literally
all
over
the
globe
and
they
could
honestly
tell
you
all
the
nuances
of
each
variety
and
their
source
and
anything.
They
were
extremely
cool
people
and
I
appreciated
their
passion
so
we
bought
one
pound
each
of
two
different
varieties.
We
didn't
get
to
try
it
until
we
got
home.
We
brewed
a
cup
and
both
took
our
first
sip
and
my
girlfriend
and
I
both
looked
at
each
other
in
amazement
and
were
just
like....."what
the
heck?!!
There
is
no
way
this
coffee
is
this
good!!"
Amazing
coffee
roaster
and
amazing
people!!
Please
do
yourself
a
favor
and
buy
a
bag,
I
promise
you'll
never
go
back
to
store
bought
coffee
ever
again!
