Loved it. What a great breakfast and service. Going to return to see about their claims of ‘best pie’.

Our server Chris was spectacular. He really made us feel welcome. I have been in Albuquerque for the past 5 days and this was the last and BEST meal I've had out here. I wish I went here every night, I would have enjoyed Albuquerque more. It is a crime that there isn't a Village Inn out in PA, if there was I'd pack up Chris and take him home with us.

See the attached receipt from Village Inn on Yale Blvd in Albuquerque, NM. My name is Jeff Martinez. I am a local business owner in Albuquerque, NM. Went into eat lunch today at your restaurant (see the receipt attached). I ordered a Ruben. I specifically asked the waitress if the pie was free today (because it was Wednesday).. She said yes. Brought me out a pie which was over microwaved and soggy. See the picture of your advertisement and the pie I received!! To myself I said, "Well the pie is free, why complain.. I will just eat the soggy over microwaved piece of pie and keep my mouth shut." I come to find out the pie WAS NOT FREE. She brought me my bill which had a pie charge on it. and the waitress stated the cashier would remove the pie charge listed on my receipt because the pie was FREE. When I brought my receipt up to pay, the manager said he would have to charge me for a beverage to get the pie for free. (this is NOT what the waitress stated).. I did drink a beverage, which was a glass of water... the point is I was never told the terms of the transaction for the free pie. The manager was rude, so I just said I would pay for the pie and then I proceeded to tell the manager the pie was soggy and over microwaved. I specifically told him I had a picture of it. He ignored and did not resolve the issue of my free pie which I was overcharged. I would have never have ordered the pie if I understood, but NO ONE TOLD ME. There was no disclosure or anything on the table or walls about having to order a "beverage" to get a free pie. The waitress did not even say her name, nor filled up my glass of water when it was empty. I had a horrible experience. Why offer free pie when the pie is not free? I recommend to go to Denny's which is a few blocks away.

Enjoyed dinner at this VI location. Convenient to the Albuquerque Sunport, and several hotels. We arrived a bit early for dinner and the dining room had lots of room. The pies in the display case looked tempting, but we abstained. Dinner was the potroast and a chicken pot pie. The pot pie is not on the menu and is available upon request and only while supplies last. Both were very good. Service was friendly and fast enough. The two of us ate for $30. Parking is plentiful, off-street, and surrounds the restaurant. The restrooms are adequate.

Just a few blocks walk from my hotel, I decided to give this place a shot. (It was here, or the "Awful Waffle" just down the street). Leah, my server, did an amazing job. The music was a good mix, some 70s channel or something on Sirius. I got the VIB breakfast plus one item. Totally worth it. The house made sausage patty had excellent flavor...just like Gramma used to make. The French toast was excellent, as were the pancakes. Here in Albuquerque for the week with Fox Sports for the game on Friday and thinking when the rest of the crew will enjoy this as well. Downloaded the Village Inn app while sitting there and got $10 off my meal. Not a bad deal. I would recommend.

The experience was really nice. The service can definitely improve but the food was amazing. So if you don’t mind bad service on waiters then it’s overall really nice. Definitely recommend their breakfast special with the strawberry crepe’s 🍓😚👏🏻

I had visited here in the past but this visit was very disappointing. I ordered a BLT with a fruit side dish. What I got was a BLT with barely any lettuce, I mean there was 1 leaf that was unnoticeable, and half cooked limpy french fries. The waitress apologized and went to get the fruit dish I ordered. That was nice and all but the cubed of watermelon was overripe or just rotten. Are you serious? People don’t know what fresh fruit looks like? The fries could have been fried a minute or two longer. It’s not like they were busy, so there was no reason for the pushing out of uncooked fries! I liked it in the past, but I recommended to go elsewhere! Before, I go, I must admit that the waitress was attentive and made sure I was okay. I did mention my dissatisfaction but the manager never made an appearance. Go elsewhere!

Pie, pie, pie. Best pies around! The staff were great. It looked like they were training some new folks on this visit. Some places that seems like a distraction for the staff, but not here. The trainees were super helpful and the trainers were right on it, great job!

The food was great as always, prices have gone up but really the cost of living has gone up across the board. for the service, large portions, and very good seating all spread out, shows me they are thinking of they're customers. You won't find many places like Village Inn anymore they do everything possible to give a great value and customer service.

Honestly surprised by the quality of food and service. My chef salad was perfectly fresh and proportioned just right. Brother had chicken fried steak, very satisfying. It’s also so very clean and pleasant. A+

Haven't been to a village inn in quite sometime. I remember the pies in the glass case and there they were inviting me to take a bite. Great service and a feel of home. Thanks for coming to work

Visiting from El Paso. We had an amazing experience. As soon as we walked in the crew was very helpful they got us tables for 6 adults and 4 kids. The food was amazing. I had the breakfast smoothered burrito. The red Chile sauce is super spicy.

This is our favorite breakfast place and we've been going for years...our waitress was awesome the food was great the only thing that killed it was the very rude/sassy hostess. I thought I was being judgmental but then we overheard other diners commenting. She didn't greet us, she did not respond when I said "good morning " she was sipping a drink leaning on the counter while others were trying to check out...there was even a slamming of something and rolling her eyes....I get it work can suck sometimes but if someone is trying to be nice and make your day better Maybe acknowledge that I mean the rest of the crew was chugging a long smiling...

Our waitress was really cool, and very helpful. The green chili I got for my eggs was tasty. Had just a little kick to it and tasted pretty darn good. I was stuffed. Pancakes were good. My toast was good, everything was good. I got a piece of key lime pie to go , it was delicious!

I got the Ruben. The Rubin was delicious and hot. Side of seasoned fries were good but cold. I didn't have the heart to tell em. Guess leaving half the fries was a sign maybe? Finished off with a slice of Country Apple Pie. Served cold but I asked that it be warmed up this time. It was delicious as well. Not a bad spot next to my hotel.

Facilities were nice and clean. The server was pleasant. Chips and salsa were basic with store bought chips. My husband had the double bacon and cheese burger with crinkle fries. The burger was a little dry. I had the grilled chicken Cobb salad. The salad was fresh and crispy. I enjoyed the goodies in the salad...lettuce, carrots, tomato, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, Bleu cheese crumbles, and hard boiled eggs.

I haven't been in to village in in years because of the quality of food which has gone down, And the prices that have gone up, As well as the foods quantity had gone down. This time around after not being back for over 4-5 years it was actually fairly decent quality food. The staff was very friendly. The prices have not gone down at all. The quantity of food is still about the same. But all in all this was a much more fair experience compared to past visits. Definitely an okay place to come for if you're just looking to sit around the table and talk with family and munch.

Our waiter was probably the nicest person in this restaurant, wish we would've got his name - all of the young ladies that worked here pretty much walk around with their noses in the air, as if they can't be bothered by you. We only gave service 3 stars because of the young man that waited on us. Food was below average, a lot of it came out cold and falling apart as if it had been sitting there a while. This was disappointing because Village Inn has always been a pretty good place to eat if you're craving diner food. Hopefully, for their sake, it was just a bad sunday morning.
