Abrazo makes good houses, however my experience with them overall has been just an absolute mess. I placed a $5,000 refundable deposit on a new construction property in los lunas with the understanding that if for any reason I didn’t qualify for the loan, I would receive my deposit back. However, the representative I was working with by the name of Chris Oechsler, changed the story when I had an unexpected business expense that disqualified me for the loan. We have been going back and forth for weeks now and he refuses to give me the deposit back. I still would like to purchase an abrazo home in the near future, but not so sure I ever will if this doesn’t get resolved.

Wow, what to say. The Abrazo Homes Family made our home building process as smooth as possible. While my wife and I were considering where to purchase in Albuquerque we were directed to Larry Stapp with Abrazo. Larry welcomed us in with open arms, not as a salesmen but as a guide and friend. My wife and I at the start of the process had only been in New Mexico about 3 months. Larry not only helped us understand the layout of the city and where the greatest value for our budget would be but he also gave us opportunity to think over the options we had. We actually placed a deposit with another builder but found that the amenities that Abrazo has as a standard, cost quite a bit more at other builders. They also worked to put us in something outside of our budget instead of really focusing on our requests and needs. We eventually went back to Larry and the Abrazo family to build our home. The pride and care that the entire Abrazo family shows is far beyond any home buying experience we'd had. We were able to meet the owners of the company who also showed their care about the process of purchase our home and wanted to make us feel a part of their own families. During the build of our home we were kept up to date weekly on the progress of the home and were welcomed to view it anytime that we would like within in business hours with Larry. Throughout this process customer service has been top of the line. Jaron managed our build and answered any and all questions or concerns we had. The final walk through he went through the home with us thoroughly and made sure no stone was left upturned for items that needed to be fixed. There were items that were small details that my wife and I missed and he pointed them out and had them corrected. In today's world where efficiency rules and quality is sometimes left to the wind, Abrazo stood out and showed us that they cared as if each member of the process was building our home for themselves. I had an excellent experience with Abrazo. I just purchased a new build, and the process was extremely straightforward throughout. The team worked hard to keep us updated on every step of the process, from signing our purchase agreement all the way through to the day we got the keys, and even after that. Our sales agent, Reid, is a real stand out. He has made the process not only clear but fun. Since I bought from out of state, Reid made sure to keep me updated on every step of the build, including with weekly photos and videos of the progress. He was extremely responsive about answering questions as they came up, and he even gave me some amazing restaurant recommendations every time we came into town for a walk-through and our closing. Jen in the office was also so accommodating and responsive, helping us to close on the date that we needed to. And, when the independent home inspector came right before our close, he said to me that it's one of the best new builds that he's seen, which made me feel really good. Our superintendent, Mikaela, gets all credit for that, as she has such an attention to detail and went through our final walk with us meticulously to make sure that any touch-ups or issues were noted and resolved. The Abrazo team really went above and beyond, and all of their materials to help orient us in our new home have been helpful thus far. I'm really glad we went with them for our first home! We have definitely felt supported and taken care of during this process.

I’m a first home buyer and was searching for a house for almost a year before making the best decision in my life and go with Abrazo. Abrazo did an amazing job on my first home. I would start with Blair the best first impression. Blair was very friendly and got me scheduled right away and emailed me all the details for my first appointment. Then I’ve worked with Jeff and Matt. Jeff was my sales agent, he’s the most amazing person I’ve ever met, he went above and beyond with all of my questions and concerns since day one, he cared about my needs and helped me with all of his heart I felt he was my guardian angel. Jeff so professional, very kind, friendly, easy to work with, responsive, and super acknowledge. Jeff was always there for me the whole entire process, he provided weekly updates with photos, and videos, did a wonderful job guiding me through the process, he really put my mind at ease. He was always available and offered me to walk the house at anytime I needed. I’m very lucky got to work with Jeff and his exceptional personality. Matt was my construction supervisor, he’s fabulous I’ve asked him tons of questions and he was very patient and politely answered all of my concerns, he was so professional, very friendly, paid extreme attention to every detail, so acknowledge about the whole process, and very serious to build me a quality home, I felt my house was in a safe hand with Matt. During the closing walk Matt and Jeff were amazing as always, they meticulously took notes on any touch ups and they made sure I was 100% satisfied with everything. Honestly Matt did a phenomenal job on my house and any concern I had raised he addressed promptly. I can’t thank Jeff and Matt enough they made me feel like family not just a buyer, they are really the best of the best, they fun to work with, open, direct, and honest. I was not worried about anything with them, the whole process was very smooth, enjoyable and easy. I felt like they were on my side every step of the way and genuinely wanted me to have a great buying experience that I would feel good about. With Jeff and Matt you get a gorgeous quality house with an outstanding customer service from start to finish, they truly great guys they work very hard to make your dream home comes true. This team is top notch. From all of my heart thank you Jeff and Matt, I would not only recommend Abrazo, but I would also actively encourage anyone looking for a new home to seek them out.

Our new Abrazo home is both beautiful and a very good value, we are thrilled with our entire experience! Our sales representative Larry was amazing before, during and after the building of our new home. He was always professional, knowledgeable and kept us frequently updated on the progress of our new home building progress in New Mexico (we live in CA but felt like we were onsite!). Rebekah in the Abrazo design center was also very knowledgeable and helpful guiding us through many choices for our homes interior. Our Superintendent Ryan was very accommodating, professional and quickly took care of any concerns we had. The Abrazo team is first class and we highly recommend Abrazo homes!

We had an incredible experience with Larry and the rest of the team, Joe, Ryan and David as they were just the kindest and easiest people to work with during our home building process. Larry made sure to update us with exactly what was done in the home as well as photos each week since we first made contact with him. We were living in California while our home was being built so he made things quick and simple for us which we greatly appreciated. My spouse and I have had the pleasure to work with Abrazo homes, who built our home in the Peaks community of Mariposa in Rio Rancho. From our first warm welcome from Larry Stapp, our sales rep to the support we have received from Denise on the Service team, everything went very smoothly. We chose Abrazo for the detailed build and design that was included in the base price. We are very pleased with our appliances, the quietness of our home and the other amenities that were included. We worked with Bri at the Design Center to add our own touches and she was very helpful in assisting us with colors, textures and the overall design of the interior. Jaron, our building supervisor, is VERY knowledge about the Abrazo product and was always on hand to answer any questions/concerns we had. As with any building project, there were a couple of delays, but these were very minimal. Larry communicated with us weekly if not more frequently. He was readily available when we would “drop in” to look at the progress, making time to join us to view our home. This is the second home we have built in our lives, and compared to our first home, this process was so easy. We attribute this to the Abrazo team. The are honest, willing to help in any way, responsible and accountable. We would highly recommend them.

Whooooooo-Hooooo! We bought our dream home! I could not imagine going through this process, and man was it a long process, without the Abrazo Team. The process started off with Abrazo’s New Home Matchmaker, Blair, telling me about the Abrazo communities. I appreciate her willingness to send an email with everything we had discussed over about 20 minutes. I needed it in an email so I could send it all to my fiancé; who would be handling everything remotely. She was quick and detailed with all her responses and made choosing 35 North Community a no-brainer. Before I knew it, I was scheduled to meet Larry, the sales representative, to start talking details. In that first appointment we were in a trailer talking about homes that didn’t even have a model for me to look at which honestly made my nervous. He was able to provide me with enough information during that one-hour meeting for us to make a decision without hesitation. We knew we would love the Mazatlán – Modern Elevation layout and even added a deck (my dream) off the master bedroom. I left knowing we were in good hands and that our dream was coming to fruition. This would be our home soon! There was a small timeframe when I would be able to go to the design appointment with Bri (now it is Rebekah). She unfortunately was feeling a little under the weather that day. Although that was clear she did not falter from making sure the experience for us was a memory we would cherish forever. With my fiancé still being remote that meant the appointment could potentially last even longer due to potentially poor internet connection on his side, having to take pictures of any and all samples, etc. The professionalism she maintained, while also giving expert advice on the choices we were making, gave us piece of mind knowing when it all came together it would match and be beautiful. It sounds overwhelming as I type it, but with her it was just so much fun! Then, the building began. As promised, Larry sent weekly updates via email with pictures and detailed updates on what would be happening and how the changes with COVID could potentially delay us. Ultimately, it didn’t. We were never in the dark throughout the entire process which took about six months. Jaron, the site superintendent, explained everything that would be happening and set realist timeframes for when each step would be completed. During any scheduled walkthrough he allowed me to take extra time for pictures and videos to ensure my fiancé would be involved. He also ensured that I understood the information he was giving me so I would be giving educated feedback while making decisions. When I say by the end of this process they were like family, I am not exaggerating. Saying they went above and beyond from start to finish, and then even after, is an understatement. The entire Abrazo Team’s first priority is taking care of their buyers. They made that crystal clear from the beginning and never fell short. I know even now if I have any questions or concerns, they are ready and eager to help. That being said, if you are currently looking to buy a home and are considering Abrazo, I highly recommend, or rather urge you, to schedule an appointment with Blair to see if any of the communities will fit your needs! There are plenty to choose from. As I continue meeting new neighbors, I get even more excited for that Block Party Larry mentioned he was throwing for the 35 North Community. Whoooo-hoo! But seriously, we are beyond thankful for everyone at Abrazo Homes. We are still in awe of how beautiful the house is and so thankful we have a home to be together in during these times!

I was making the transition from Las Cruces to Rio Rancho with a short timeframe that was making the move a little stressful. Thankfully my amazing realtor introduced me to Abrazo Homes and Larry Stapp who found the perfect home for me! Between Larry and David the final inspections and walk thrus were incredibly easy. David made sure the items from the lunch list were taken care of expeditiously and what items needed to be ordered the warranty team have been diligent about making sure they are complete! I would recommend Abrazo and their team over and over!

I lived out-of-state while my home was being built. Jeff McCrea provided very detailed updates and photos weekly/biweekly which were very helpful since I could not be on-site to observe the progress. It was a wonderful experience and I could not be happier with my new home. Rebekah Sultemeier with the design center was also very helpful.
