This is the sister location of IL VICINO on Central Avenue. I was out running errands and noticed this restaurant and thought I’d try it out to see if it was as good as the Central Avenue location. I am happy to say it was equally as great! The service was very personable and I asked the young lady that served me her name as I thought I should mention how nice she was and quite humorous! Her name is Shanay and she is awesome! I ordered the calzone and added a few ingredients. Very much enjoyed it and found the tomato sauce more to my liking! If you are shopping and no where near downtown, come check out this location as you won’t be disappointed!

Great food, fast service but they allow dogs in the dinning area that are not service dogs. People are bringing multiple dogs at a time. Shaking while you’re eating, roaming around. Just not the environment you want when you’re eating. My son is allergic to them so you can imagine the experience. People take advantage of the label of service dog just because they can’t be without their dogs. This last time I went there, there were 5 dogs inside the dining area. Multiple dogs per table. Def a health violation if this is reported to the dept of health.

After multiple times at this location, I had to give this place a review! The staff here are always so attentive and friendly, and make sure you have everything you need when dining. We have a habit of getting the same thing every time (it’s just too good to change it up), so pictured is the Alfredo Cheese Pizza, and Alfredo Penne with Extra Sausage. Their spicy oil, “olio picante” is amazing added to their dishes as well, and ads a nice kick. Absolutely the best “Italian” style food we have had so far.

Second time eating at this place the first experience was great. We ordered a pizza and calzone online both were burnt and unedible. The pizza is supposedly a 10 inch clearly its not. 28.00 waisted that is not okay especially in times like these. We live across town and didn't bother going back so we gave them a call was put on hold for 15 minutes no one came to the phone. We more than likely won't be coming back.

We hadn't been here in a very long time. I really don't know why lol. As usual the food was great (I have to have gluten-free pizza) So we had a gluten-free pizza and a large salad and split then between us. The pizza was delish the salad was great and the service was top notch. We certainly won't wait too long to come back.

We have been twice and the wood fired pizza is just so delicious. The pizza dough has a wonderful texture and flavor. The toppings are generous and the sauce excellent. The only downside is service is hit and miss. On the first visit we had an attentive server who was prompt with refills and checking on us throughout the meal. On the second visit we were ignored once the food was dropped off at our table.

I have only stopped by for a drink so far and haven't tried the pizza. That being said, the customer service was nice and the atmosphere is really great too. The food does smell amazing and I look forward to trying the pizza.

Had the number 10 with a gluten- Free crust. So good!! I was so hungry and it was so good that i just forgot to take ok photos! One of the best gluten free pizza crusts in town. UPDATE 5 6 2022... this place is great! This time I'm trying the pizza #13 on a gluten free crust of course. It was fabulous as usual. I love the hot oil on the tables. It's so hood to drizzle over the pizza.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in Albuquerque. We can eat outside year round, great for having our little dog, and we are still Covid conscious. There are heaters (although a few need fixing). Lovely trees patio with view of mountain, or completely covered outdoor patio, great for inclement weather. The service is great and so so fast. Great menu, interesting and healthy pizzas and salads (usually get the combo of small pizza and half salad), always delicious! Can’t beat a wood-fired pizza, absolutely no comparison to the fast food pizza places. I eat here at least a few times every month, love it!

The food at this place is amazing and very flavorful. We ate the hero flat bread sandwich and lasagna Boulogne. Delicious. I can't believe I had never tried this place before as it is so close to home. Service was outstanding, and the staff was very friendly. Great selection of items kn the menu. I saw a wall full of wine bottles, but I dont think they serve beer or cocktails. I may be wrong on that, but I don't believe I saw any on the drink menu. This will definitely be in my sights from now on. Check it out if you haven't. It's worth it for sure!

Great food and service however...I witnessed the cook use the same dough tools they use for regular food, on a gluten free pizza. YES THEY USE THE SAME GRILL FOR ALL PIZZAS, cross contamination is not their concern. I have a reaction when I ate here a few weekends ago and I couldnt figure out why. IT IS NOT GLUTEN FREE" pancakes, they do not care about your health.

Brick oven gourmet individual pizzas, thin crust. Pizza baked to perfection and wide selection of ingredients if you want to build your own.. Wine and beer selection excellent. Service great, fast , and clean. Good value for the price. Comfortable atmosphere.

I have never been disappointed with the traditional style pizza at Il Vicino in Corrales. Consistency is the word that describes the pizza and homemade soup because it is always good. I especially like the gluten free meatball pizza. The outdoor seating adds ambiance to a simple affordable meal. You will leave happy and satisfied.

Il Vicino had a wide variety of thin crust pizzas, sandwiches, and salads, all of very good quality. They also have a good selection of wine and beer. The decor is retro. The service is stand-in-line to order and sit to receive your food and drinks. It's very good at what it tries to be. We like it and recommend it.

The best pizza I've ever had! Can't remember the name of it, but it's #4 on the menu. I took off the asiago and added caramelized onions, and fiery shrimp it! Definitely recommend and I will return for another

The food here is consistently good. Fresh pizza and the baked pastas are good. The basil lemonade is really good, but I wish they had more tea options than just mango tea. The service is so so. I had to keep getting up to ask for drink refills, so although wait staff are walking around all the time, they don't stop at your table to check unless you call for them. One young man even avoided eye contact. Other than that, food is good and fast and reasonable prices - $13 - $15 for a pizza that feeds at least one person but realistically two.
