We
Bought
a
new
Pause
20.3
trailer
from
RAM.
In
fact,
we
were
the
first
retail
customer
buying
this
new
rig.
Realizing
that
a
brand
new
trailer
comes
with
a
steep
learning
curve
considering
the
MorRyde,
Starlink,
Victron,
Winegard,
and
Garmin
systems
onboard.
However,
RAM
was
more
interested
in
the
sale
rather
than
customer
service.
RAM
took
no
time
at
all
to
learn
the
systems
and
even
faked
the
warranty
card
submitted
to
the
manufacturer.
The
rig
was
delivered
to
Arizona
with
a
broken
front
jack
along
with
many
error
messages
in
the
Garmin
system.
They
took
no
time
to
understand
how
to
put
the
trailer
in
transport
mode
so
the
jack
stayed
partially
extended
and
somewhere
in
transport
hit
the
hack
causing
it
to
be
forced
out
of
alignment.
It
had
to
sit
in
front
of
our
house
for
a
week
while
we
had
the
jack
replaced.
The
pause
was
delivered
with
only
one
master
key
that
opened
the
doors.
The
warranty
checklist
was
already
filled
out
under
owner
column
and
seller
by
RAM.
It
was
clear
that
we
had
not
even
seen
the
trailer,
but
the
paperwork
sent
to
the
manufacturer
made
it
look
like
we
had
checked
each
item
on
the
list.
Simply
not
true.
And
very
misleading.
When
asked
for
a
new
clean
copy
of
the
warranty
paperwork,
this
time
they
checked
off
each
item
under
owner
and
left
the
seller
side
blank.
This
was
troubling
and
quite
misleading.
We
tried
to
use
the
trailer,
but
the
solar
system
would
not
charge
the
batteries,
and
both
the
stove
and
oven
would
not
work.
The
WiFi
ranger
and
starlink
were
not
functional.
And
the
extra
items
included
like
the
auto
door
opener,
tire
gauge
monitor,
and
camera
system
monitor
were
never
setup.
The
boxes
were
opened,
units
were
taken
out
or
plastic
and
just
shoved
in
a
bag,
but
never
properly
programmed.
Needless
to
say
our
first
camping
experience
was
terrible.
And
all
due
to
RAM’s
failure
to
check
all
systems
before
delivery.
The
unit
has
spent
more
time
in
an
RV
repair
facility
in
Arizona
than
we’ve
used
it
for
camping.
The
RAM
warranty
department
was
worthless.
Anytime
the
Arizona
dealer
called
on
the
open
claim
items,
the
RAM
folks
could
not
find
the
warranty
paperwork.
Maybe
that
had
something
to
do
with
RAM
pencil
whipping
the
warranty
card
sent
to
the
manufacturer.
Or
that
they
understood
zero
about
operating
the
Pause
systems,
so
they
just
wanted
to
remove
themselves
from
their
warranty
responsibilities.
Either
way,
pretty
unprofessional.
Five
months
later
and
several
calls
and
emails,
RAM
finally
sent
us
a
second
key.
Thanks!
The
RV
center
in
AZ
must
have
reached
the
same
conclusion
about
the
RAM
warranty
folks,
because
with
zero
assistance
from
the
RAM
staff,
they
quickly
realized
it
was
best
to
bypass
RAM
and
work
directly
with
Forest
River
Pause
manufacturer.
We
do
recognize
that
RAM
may
not
have
had
the
time,
staff,
or
desire
to
learn
a
new
rig’s
systems.
But
dropping
the
ball
numerous
times
is
no
excuse
for
rushing
a
sale.
RAM
motors
of
Albuquerque
may
be
great
at
selling
other
motorhomes
and
trailers,
but
from
our
experience,
until
they
dedicate
someone
who
will
take
the
time
to
learn
the
Pause,
they
have
no
business
selling
them.
As
for
their
warranty
department,
maybe
the
falsified
warranty
paperwork
was
due
to
just
rushing
the
unit
out
the
door,
but
buyers
should
be
aware
to
carefully
check
all
paperwork
and
make
RAM
show
you
that
the
systems
actually
work
before
taking
possession.
I
would
also
inquire
about
who
is
in
the
warranty
department
and
how
long
they
have
been
there.
As
well
as
what
service
guarantees
they
will
honor
before
having
to
just
deal
with
the
manufacturer.
That
is
if
RAM
will
give
you
a
straightforward
answer.
Good
luck!
