Good Place to go out for Lunch, Menu has alot to choose from, it's always Busy so if you're in a big rush with a short Lunch Time you may have to go somewhere else. Or get there before 12ish. They have good Service also, Check it out! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿฝ๐ŸŒฏ๐Ÿ•๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿโ˜•๏ธ

The backstory to all the pictures I posted is that the man's name is Steve that actually owns this place, they named this after their son Jimmy and all the pictures are if you notice all of the Jimmy's and James's in the movies and music cuz they thought it would be cool to see how many James is in Jimmy's they could put up on the walls that were famous they also have a list of the names if you'd like to see them when you visit. The fruit bowl you see is what you get with breakfast if you order the fruit it's amazing there is pineapple, strawberries, honeydew, grapes, and cantaloupe. That's the best fruit salad I've ever had anywhere! The portions are decent not oversized and the food is delicious. Adriana is fantastic ask for her when you come in!!

This is one of the best breakfast/brunch locations in the city. I haven't been back to Albuquerque in a few years, but the quality here is still excellent. My favorite part is getting a giant iced tea (or any soft drink) to go when I'm done eating. Ordered breakfast enchiladas with green and over medium eggs and the eggs broke perfectly over the enchiladas. I highly recommend the burrito or breakfast quesadilla as an alternative. You can't go wrong with many of the breakfast options and their green chile is very good here.

We went to Jimmyโ€™s for a weekend Sunday brunch. The wait was about half an hour, which wasnโ€™t bad. There is a bench inside for waiting and three chairs outside, otherwise it is standing. The venue was kept very warm, likely for the Sunday brunch crowd. I was glad the water glasses were oversized since I kept drinking to keep cool. I ordered the Sausage & Bacon Skillet, which comes with a toast or tortilla option. I chose sourdough toast. The skillet was served with regular white gravy instead of peppered gravy, country gravy, or any usual breakfast gravy selections. Iโ€™m not sure if they used the wrong gravy on accident, but it seemed like it was completely unseasoned. The potatoes were soggy. I had asked for the eggs over-hard and on the side; they came over easy and on the top of the skillet. The sourdough toast came pre-buttered, so if youโ€™d like jam instead of butter remember to ask for them to not butter the toast. The service was friendly, but the cooking/meal prep was slow and the egg selections werenโ€™t followed. My husband got the breakfast burrito. He needed to order milk to cool the heat of the green chile. He gave his rating of his burrito as 3.5/5. Overall, I wouldnโ€™t be back. Less than mediocre food, slow wait times, and selections ignored. Perhaps other patrons will have better luck. Iโ€™m confused by the high rating the restaurant currently has; perhaps long coming regulars? Wait time: 3/5 Food: 1/5 Selections followed: 2/5 Overall: 2/5

Great food. The service was excellent. The decor was awesome! This was a lot of fun. The huevos rancheros is excellent! And the breakfast enchiladas with shredded beef where extraordinarily good! See pictures below. I highly recommend Jimmy's.

Very yummy food and wonderful service. Our server, Hondo, was wonderful and very attentive. I am not used to new Mexican Chile and he was honest and said I should probably order it on the side and I am so thankful he did! Very spicy Green Chile. I got the southwest eggs Benedict and my friends got the California omelette. Both items were affordable especially for the price.

An experience worth repeating. If you have to wait for a table, I promise it will be worth the wait. Service was excellent and everything was DELICIOUS! The variety of menu options appealed to everyone in our party of 8 and our tastebuds appreciated our choices. Pictured here are the Breakfast Quesadilla, California Omelet and Steveโ€™s Breakfast with an extra side of Green Chili. Steve greeted and welcomed us just after we were seated. It was a nice personal touch to an already charming diner. His pride in his family and restaurant were evident in his friendly conversation. As we were being served, he brought out samples of one of the house specialties, a creamy green chili and creamy chicken soup, and it was fantastic! If we had sampled it first, several of us would have ordered a bowl. It would pair very nicely with the crispy cold side salad. Next time we are in Albuquerque, we will definitely visit again!

The food was amazing as well as the service! The baguette was soft on the outside with a slight crunch on the inside! They gave us a free sample of the green chili soup which was awesome! The owner greeted our table several times and was so friendly!!! The staff was also awesome! Also very reasonably priced with a very clean and inviting atmosphere!

Great food and service. This has to be the best French dip Iโ€™ve ever had. They also have a green chili soup that is amazing. The Albuquerque turkey is fantastic.

This small little cafe was very enjoyable, it's cozy. All the staff were Pleasant even the people that were dining there. When we got there they said our wait would be at least 25 minutes. I don't even think we waited 8. I really enjoyed how their walls are covered with movie history.

Fast and friendly service. We have only had breakfast but one of our favorite spots. Green chile sauce has great flavor and hot. Large portions for most menu options and they even offer smaller portion plates, which is great. Food is always excellent. Place has more seating than you think so don't be scared off from full parking lot.

Great breakfast in a neat diner. Weโ€™re in for the balloon festival and we decided to have breakfast here. I had the huevos rancheros and they were excellent. It was fun to eat surrounded by all the pilots and crews of the hot-air balloons.

Randomly stopped in for lunch and my family and I are glad we did. We were sat down fairly quickly and they were busy. We got our food in a short amount of time and it tasted good for a good price. Definitely a place we will go back to. Loved all of the vintage pictures on the walls. Super cute environment. I had the Albuquerque Turkey, under sandwiches, but I had it as a wrap and my daughter had a quesadilla. Both delicious.

Food was really good and tasted fresh. The tortillas are great! It was a little busy but service was very quick and friendly. Good variety and affordable. One of our party asked for the table they were using as a break table without realizing it - we let him know later but they were really gracious about letting us sit there. Overall really good experience and well worth stopping at.

I travel a lot for work and enjoy trying local restaurants. Jimmy's Cafe on Jefferson did not disappoint. My server Lisa, was very friendly and had a few recommendations when I asked. The coffee was fresh and hot and I had plenty of cream and sweetener available to use. I ordered a Chorizo and Egg Burrito (Lisa said the regular size was quite large) so I ordered a Small. I also added a fresh cinnamon roll for dessert. The burrito came out and it was more than I could eat! Even the small could not be finished by this guy. Lisa did tell me that the green chile sauce was the hotter of the two choices (red was mild). It added a great New Mexico taste to a very delicious burrito. The eggs were fresh and the chorizo had a great flavor as well. I highly recommend coming to Jimmy's Cafe On Jefferson. Great atmosphere and a very friendly staff. Great job team!

Jimmyโ€™s is all about James, Jim, and Jimmy. There are pictures and posters of movies and everyone named James or some sort of nickname. The restaurant was bigger than expected. It was busy for a Tuesday morning around 9. I donโ€™t know our servers name but she was super sweet and patient. Food was good quality and you could tell most of it was homemade, like the soup and green Chile. I have the Denver omelette, regular size. Good for an omelette. Hash browns were good but you can definitely taste the butter. It was a nice spot for a mid-week breakfast.
