Deleted my 5 star review from two years ago. I've been coming to this location off and on for years. Lately and even tonight the service has gotten bad. Rude customer service in drive thru. Literally can hear sighs even when ordering simple stuff. Quality in food and effort in making and cutting stuff has also gone down.. such a disappointment. 😔

The servers were nice, but the food wasn’t very good. The food was pretty greasy overall, an my wife got undercooked shrimp on her shrimp salad and we had to get a new one. Speaking of which, the cashier didn’t know they had shrimp salads even though there was a promotional poster 3 feet away. Overall not the best, sorry.

Taco Cabana how I've missed you! Best breakfast tacos in the world, your bacon is awesome like always, fresh handmade tortillas, salsa bar with all my favorites. If passing though Albuquerque you must visit and if you live here this should be on your weekly rotation!

The nachos were horrific with old dry cheese. The Barbacoa taco was dripping in grease and tasted AWFUL.. chorizo burrito was disgusting..the ONLY good thing was the quesadilla. We will never be going back...we spent $60 and the only edible food was the bean burrito and quesadilla....

It's unfortunate they have false business hours. Why are the doors consistently locked are 830pm? Wouldn't it be easier to just restate the lobby hours as til 830pm? This photo was taken at 830pm and the employee wouldn't respond at the door and was fielding a call on her phone.

I love there food here, but when you have to ask for red Chile because they don’t have it at the salsa bar the staff gets all grumpy

It was just drive through. I gotta admit I have had better at this particular restaurant. I'm not sure if it was just one of those days for the crew. I will be back and I hope they pull through and earn those stars and a better review from yours truly, Silver G3 ...Im routing for you!! " Best Believe!"

I had forgotten how good it can be. Really awesome lunch. Very satisfying and the plates were not over priced.

The worst most uneducated people I have ever had the experience speaking to. Drive thru Olympic idiot is having 3 different conversations, hardly coheirent, said they only take card so I asked y not U.S currency. This moron had to get 2 other employees to not understand as a team what currency was. No sign about the only card law. So we had to sit for 20 minutes trapped in line for mumbling idiots who have no business being in customer service to deliver food in a drive through to the wrong cars. I hope they never breed and their parents should do jail time.

Excellent service, great tasting food. Still see some of the og's back there in the kitchen area hustling, and that makes me feel comfortable to eat here. Funny smell from the bathroom hall, maybe think of installing a backup door to keep that contained when necessary. Still love me some cabana though.

Honestly, taco cabana slaps each time. Love the chicken taco combo. The salsas and cremas are so good. Workers are so nice. This location gets really busy in the evenings, so watch for that.

Word from the observant here. If they are ever busy, DO NOT USE LANE 2. You will see car after car leave that drive through while you haven't moved for over 9 or 10 minutes. It's like the only girl working that line is running non stop. So this extra line capacity is not staffed and therefore if you use it, you will be punished by being there for 30 minutes. AND they gave me the wrong kind of cabana bowl. I said steak fajia, they gave me ground beef. I was going to wait to eat before this review but yeah maybe I'll have better luck south of the highway or on San Mateo. Forget this place.

Everything at Taco Cabana is yummy. They are now open 24 hours again! Yay! Where else can you get fresh, homemade tortillas at 3:00 a.m.? Wrap those tortillas around some eggs and potatoes in their breakfast tacos and you'll be a lifetime customer like me!

Loved the food, ambience, people. Good Agua Fresca. Yummy salsa. One of my friends ordered lengua & loved it! This place totally saved me during the pandemic. Will probably always be a favorite.

The breakfast fajitas at the Montgomery and Wyoming location are a joke. Every single time I get them the meat is burnt and dried out. You can tell they’ve been sitting under heat lamps all night long. Last time I ever go there. The location on San Mateo though are always fresh and delicious.

The food is good but a bit pricey for what it is. Not too much though, it is still worth it for some good fast food.

Horrible service!!!! I’ve waited on the speaker about five minutes so the lady could take my order, after that I waited more than 10 minutes to them to get my payment! When I get home this is what I got: supposedly 3 street tacos with no meat at all!! And look at the tortillas🤢 $9 dlls for this?! Unbelievable!!

Food is great. I like breakfast for dinner and the pancakes on the Fiesta Breakfast were really good. They didn't give me any syrup or butter though. Also, the person taking the order was rushing us and cutting us off instead of listening to our order. Would have given five stars otherwise.

Google maps and their website says they close at midnight, I came at 11 PM and they said they closed early. Really disappointed, I understand staffing issue but please put a sign or something up so im not sitting at the drive through for 15 minutes.

So, in a pinch if you want tacos, and it's just shy of 8pm in Albuquerque what do you do? Taco Cabana is what you do. The staff is very polite and the food is fine. Adjust your heat from the salsa bar as needed, and you are well served.

I always enjoy eating here but drive-thru isn't doing their jobs @checking their ORDERS..didn't get any plastic wares for my menudo &not enough napkins. I'm not please w the nachos we got...A LID in the tray, come on!! Changing my location of this place, unless they correct it. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!

Shredded tacos are good, cashier was kind. Been eating here for years. The staff seem friendly & place is clean.

I use to go here pretty often especially for Friday night cruising... But since covid.... Eat at your own risk. The salsa bar was pretty gross. That should have been my first clue. First they still have signs up for items they don't serve anymore so that was aggravating. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla HUGE MISTAKE. My husband had carne adovada street tacos and the barbacoa taco.... We have both got violently ill. My daughter at breakfast food and was okay. I won't be back.

I love this place so much! The refried beans are AMAZING! I live in NYC now and every time I come to NM, I go to Taco Cabana for refried beans (as a side or in a burrito) as soon as possible. The chile relleno is also excellent. And they make a good green chile stew too. Love the breakfast tacos. Was in town for 10 days recently and ate here 4 or 5 times. Those tortillas!!!!

1st time ever eating at a Taco Cabana. The food was pretty good staff cleaning tables didn't know English I'm assuming cause when I asked for sour cream, she ignored me and went to the back but that's ok, at least she was making an effort to show up to work that day. Only complaint I'd have that's not really a complaint is they were out of margaritas.

It was okay. The wait in the drive thru was long. They made us the wrong food so while they were redoing it, it took more time. I completely forgot they didn't give the drink so we left the drive thru without our horchata. The line was too long to go back and the parking lot was under some construction. However, the food was good.

I like this place. Food is consistently good, the price is reasonable, and I was impressed by the staff. Last time we went, their cash register system had gone down. The lady took cash, and worked out a way to get us our food
