PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS FACILITY. My father was transferred to this center before having to go to rehab. I noticed he was delusional and talking strange. I then called his nurse and she told me he was fine that he was just pulling my leg. As time went on he got worse. He was constantly calling me telling me that the staff was ignoring him. We would call to see what was going on and they were extremely rude or say he was fine. My poor father is traumatized from this facility and scared to go anywhere for treatment. Please do not put your family through the abuse this facility put my father through. Now that he got out of here he is no long delusional and is telling us all the stuff they were doing to him. This place is all about a head count and the money they are receiving off the people in treatment. They do not care about there patients. Please keep your loved one safe and look at other options.

this place deserves less than one star, everyone acted like the patient was a constant bother. and when my loved one pressed the call button they wouldn’t tend to their needs, the floor was always sticky, there were roaches in the room & bathroom. and overall it was a terrible experience, if you want your loved one to have a good recovery surrounded by kind and caring staff i suggest taking them to Kindred, not this hell hole.

Our experience at AMG really wasn't pleasant. The techs were good and a few of the nurses were also good. It's the overnight who don't tend to the patients often. Things get lost. So if you bring in personal items make sure you check it in with staff. Also it's not very clean after your family member settles in. We had to throw trash left in the room away. I met others whobhad family there and they weren't pleased with their stay there. So if you have any othet options, please take it. Don't recommend this place.

AMG is amazing. Their staff was very attentive to my grandfather’s needs! They helped us through a very hard time and made sure we knew and understood my grandpas condition. The hospital was always clean and the nurses wore gloves and gowns when entering the room. They walked us through every procedure that was done and wouldn’t leave until all our questions were answered. Everyone was very polite and friendly, they definitely made us feel safe when leaving my grandpa for the evenings. I would recommend AMG! Also, Moriah was very helpful in discharging my grandfather to an out of state Nursing Facility.so he could be closer to his wife. Whom he’s been apart from over a year now. We really appreciate everything that shes done! She really made the transition as smooth as possible! Thank you!

Our daughter was admitted to AMG hospital directly from ICU. We were very pleased with her care during her stay. She was treated very well by all the staff. Doctors were open and friendly. And the techs were pretty great! We were concerned about our daughter’s skin integrity and our concerns were taken very seriously. Because AMG rooms are private we were able to stay with her all the time. During her stay (3 weeks) we were able to have her de-cannulated which was very important to us. I would recommend this facility to my family and family.

The nurses and doctors were all very kind and attentive. The RT staff helped me in a very big way by checking on my trachea daily and some times twice daily. I have zero complaints. They kept a close eye on me until i was ready to go home. If more hospitals cared as AMG did , the world would be a better place.

Just spent 6 weeks here after getting out of the hospital. The care was amazing. Every nurse and aide tended to my wound and issues like pros. The wound care specialist was outstanding. He did a great job with my leg. I was excited to go home but sad as I would miss this staff. How anyone could give this place bad reviews is crazy. I work in health are and have high expectations. AMG met my expectations big time. Thanks to these people for providing great care and great customer service.

My husband had been hospitalized for seven months at different facilities in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. His two stays at AMG were by far the best in all categories. All of the staff, including nursing, physical and occupational therapist, wound specialist and case manager were professional, welcomed us, showed compassion and concern about my husband's condition. Nothing was too much for them, including contacting us after discharge to make sure all was well. I highly recommend this caring and professional facility for your loved one.

So I am paralyzed from the waist down and ever since my incident I've been in hospitals more than I've been home, due to pressure sores. AMG specialty hospital is the best care I've ever received. The nursing staff, administration, pt, ot and case management is top of the line. The people who work there really care about they're patients. I just really want other people to know if you need care AMG is the best place to be. Thank you to all the staff at AMG.

In May of 2021 my sister was in an accident that changed our lives forever. During this time, she stayed at AMG. This was also during the COVID outbreaks which meant that my family was not able to stay with her 24 hours a day. In the past, I have had multiple experiences working in nursing facilities and having elderly family members in care facilities. In these times, I have witnessed horrible practices from multiple staff members. We were terrified to leave her. AMG is the absolute opposite. Every member of my sister's hands on care team was not only well trained, but they truly cared for her. Every single member of my sister's team were extraordinary: including the housekeepers that I would "catch" singing and praying for her, the PTs (Olie, David and Lexi) that cheered her on, RTs (Andrew, David, Shay, Bri, Rey, Tyler) that not only kept the girl from dying but often served as a shoulder to cry on or a much needed comedian, the techs/CNAs (Sharday, Qudus among many others) that treated her with dignity and respect and nurses (Erika, Michelle, James ) that understood my sister's condition and supported my family more than they will ever know. This has been the worst thing that has ever happened to my family. We did not know whether she would live or die. If she lived- what quality of life she would have. This is where her amazing caseworker/nurse (Jaimelynn ) came in. To ensure that she was given the best opportunity to thrive in the future, she conducted thorough research to get her into the next phase of her recovery. She helped us to navigate the hell of insurance and understand the process for her recovery. Without this team, Jaimelynn in particular, my sister would not be walking, talking and living her best life. My sister has not been there for 2 years now. Before we moved on to our next adventure, because of their genuine care, phenomenal dedication to her care, and love we walked in to thank this team at AMG. Many were still there, yeah!

I would like to put a review for the excellent job the staff of amg has done for my mother and helping her. This place is great, reliable, food is great and overall 5 stars. Also, my mother wanted to thank Anthony the tech from nights, she said he's always going a 110% helping my mother and putting his whole heart and soul for the patients he cares for. Treating them like family. So thank you Anthony for caring for my mother and want to thank the whole staff of amg as well... Highly recommend to friends and family.

My family member was a patient at AMG for about a month. I just wanted to say I am so very thankful for the care they received while in this facility. Every individual was super helpful, answered all my questions, and if the person I was talking with didn't know the answer they found someone who did. There was one nurse who really stood out, I believe her name was Jan she always took my phone call and if she had to call me back I knew she would. She was great with my loved one and you could really feel that she loves what she does. I never felt like I needed to be worried about anything. Thank you AMG for all you have done for my family!

The wound care is horrible at AMG! A male wound RN has broken infection control procedure; wearing dirty gloves, tossing dirty gauge on bed and window sills, and patient tray, during dressing changes of our love one. Such broken technique causes transmission of germs from room to room. No wonder patients get hospital acquired infections. When such bad technique is mentioned kindly to the RN, he got defensive! And just yelled back! So families of AMG patients please advocate for your love ones. There should NOT be ONE RN that does wound care with dressing changes. He is very sloppy and set in his way. It's a negative image of AMG.

Terrible patient care overall. Rarely provide ROM on bed bound patients unless PT is ordered. Staff don't follow isolation precautions and talk to their adult patients like children. Everyone is either burnt out from being overworked, speak poorly about coworkers, make racial commentary, or a combination of all of the above.

Neglect by staff members. Adult and senior abuse. When I’m reporting the abuse and neglect they place blame on the patients. Even with video and audio evidence. Do not send your family, friends or any loved one to this so called hospital. It’s just an office building that has floors with different clinics on them. They don’t give any proper care they let there patients get infection that cause serious long term Affects. They have tech that do not have any kind of degree or special skills that are hired by family referrals. It’s like a high school drama. Disabled and the restless. More worried about their love affair between staff than actually giving Care. If you want to lose a limb then this is the place for you. Sincerely A mandated reporter.

It’s rare to say that anyone would love a hospital but we love AMG Specialty Hospital! The quality of medical care and attention to the needs of the patients and family are top notch. This isn’t our first time here and the ENTIRE team has consistently cared for, and about, my family member during each of his admissions. I felt that our concerns for our loved one were heard and addressed, and that he had excellent care during his admission. I strongly recommend this hospital for long term acute care.

👍👍 Hope that you may never need to visit Hospital/ER but if you do; go here they'll take care of you. 12/17/2021 The staff that took my BP/vitals was UNEMPATHIC as it relates to the reason(s) I was there. 😠 HORRIBLE!! I was visiting from out of town. I arrived at the ER at 10pm. The check-in process is completed in front of EVERYONE and the whole waiting room will know your SSN.
