😠 I was in the ER, not because I wanted to be there. The doctor could definitely learn some communication skills. He was rude, he yelled at me and talked to me like I was stupid. He has no remorse, or empathy for people in the field he has chosen to work in. The nurse took care of me and was wonderful... People often mention pain, wait, staff,

I was in the ER, not because I wanted to be there. The doctor could definitely learn some communication skills. He was rude, he yelled at me and talked to me like I was stupid. He has no remorse, or empathy for people in the field he has chosen to work in. The nurse took care of me and was wonderful. In the past I have always gone to Lovelace Women’s. I went there for my entire pregnancy and for labor and delivery with my daughter. Every experience has been wonderful but today, turned everything around. I will definitely go to another doctor/ ER. Nobody who is sick or hurt needs to be belittled or talked to the way that man did. It’s a shame!

The low life triage nurse that was working graveyard on February the 20th treated me terribly and caused bodily harm, cramming in the needle to draw blood. I had asked her to be careful due to the fact that I have a skin condition that flares up when I'm stressed and she yelled at me and treated me like I was making It up. She should not be able to touch patients in any manner. Flat out disgusting.

This ER is HORRIBLE. The doctors are callous, rude, and unprofessional verging on dangerous. I had gone to my doctor with severe pain in my leg and was told I had a torn muscle and was prescribed medication. The medication did not address the pain at all so I went to this ER for help. The staff on call did minimal diagnostics (the wrong ones) and concluded there was nothing wrong with me. I asked them to please help me with the excruciating pain and all they said was, and I quote, “your pain is not our problem.” The next day, after another sleepless night, I went to UNM ER where they did extensive diagnostics and found that my unbearable pain was due to a ruptured disc. I was prescribed treatment and medication that immediately addressed and relieved my pain, and I was referred to a spinal specialist. I would recommend that NO ONE seek help at Lovelace Women’s ER. I don’t know how they keep their doors open. Just appalling level of care.

Just No. I’m an older woman and felt ignored and not listened to. RN was great but the person who checked me in and the attending provider were cold and distant. I was told I “shouldn’t” be in that much pain. I was writhing on the bed, and they asked me to walk quite a ways down the hall to give a urine sample. I had to stop halfway down the hall to rest because of the pain. I repeatedly stated my concerns about having a particular infection, and was never tested for it. Instead, they tested me for what they insisted I had, (that test was negative). I didn’t feel listened to. I’ve always gone to Kaseman in the past but wrongly assumed I couldn’t with my BCBS insurance. I won’t go to this one again, ever.

I have seen better run clinics in the third world. They ask if you have covid symptoms yet the waiting room is full of smokers coughing all over everyone and you will you wait for hours. It took them three hours to even attempt to get blood work. It was a 7 hour wait to see a doctor. I left and got care elsewhere sooner than I would have been seen here. The entire reason I had to come to the ER is because I got a post surgery hospital acquired infection from their other hospital.

Took partner there with intense abdominal pain. Despite attempts to get staff attention, including when he was literally curled up in a ball on the floor, they did nothing to help until he collapsed and passed out from the pain. The other patients in the waiting room were far more concerned and helpful than the staff, who did almost nothing. I would go to a different ER farther away before I would ever go back to this place. Incompetent and utterly lacking in empathy, just the qualities you DON’T want in an ER staff.

Long wait time, but I had a broken wrist, and so wasn't having a gunshot, heart attack, complications with a baby, etc, so I expected that. The RNs and ER Physician Assistant who saw were extremely professional and thorough. Casted me, set me up with orthopedics for follow up. Wrist is now healed up nicely. would recommend. For the IDIOTS complaining about the call buttons, do you think the RNs are just sitting around waiting for that call button to ring? Or do you think, just maybe, they might be starting IVs, giving meds, helping do CPR, helping to stop bleeding from wounds, being drawn into emergencies with babies etc? The second sounds more plausible to me.....

I took my mother for severe abdominal pain and vomiting blood and this was THE WORST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE I EVER ENDURED. We waited 7 hours to get discharged all while the nurse didn't want to go over the discharge summary, in her words "if you have any questions, you can look on my chart". Lacking empathy is an understatement at this location. Nurses just sit around at the nurses station and gossip all while call lights are going unanswered for 30+ minutes. I wouldnt take my worst enemy here! THEIR JUST THERE TO FILL BEDS, NOTHING ELSE!!!

I was a bit hesitant going here do to all the negative reviews, but I must've been blessed or down right lucky when I went. The drs and nurses were wonderful. The wait time was minimal. Waiting area was CLEAN. Thank you lovelace ER staff. Dr miechler and Dr Huff were super caring. The nurses were all very attentive, I just don't remember names well. Overall great (considering the circumstances) experience.

if I could give zero stars I would. Tech didn’t believe me when I told him the iv wasnt in my vein but was in my muscle. My arm is so swollen and painful, thankful the CT tech realized it was in wrong before putting iodine in. Brought me back to have the IV corrected and waited 3.5 hours only to be told that I should drink an oral contrast for CT scan and that’s the only way they do it? despite them being about to do iodine in IV. Asked me to take a pregnancy test even though I told them I just had a hysterectomy. I ended up leaving without being seen because they said it would be another 3 hours for the oral contrast order and for me to drink it before doing CT. They charged me $500 and the front desk person rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a refund. I do not recommend this place to anyone. There is such a lack of empathy, communication and competence. it’s truly shocking.

They forgot about me. I have covid and can't breathe. They put me in a room by myself and forgot about me. I can't wait to pay 5k for being forgotten about.

Came here for an emergency, obviously. Terrible experience, rude and unorganized staff, dirty wait rooms. The doctor who took care of us was ok. Absolutely horrible

Was harrassed and discriminated by your female Dr and male nurse in the ER dept. The female Dr got in my face like she was trying to fight me. And I'm a big guy.

This is the best ER in Albuquerque. Not long of a wait, triaged and ran diagnostics while in the waiting room. Very efficient, clean and overall a great experience. Front desk and initial triage nurse could use some manners however the MA's , nurses and doctors were kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable.

👍👍 Hope that you may never need to visit Hospital/ER but if you do; go here they'll take care of you. 12/17/2021 The staff that took my BP/vitals was UNEMPATHIC as it relates to the reason(s) I was there. Besides that they were efficient. The environment is clean and professional. Normalized EMPATHY, p...

😠 This place has very poor service. Period. If you're not a large problem, you will be ignored. You will be triaged quickly and then left waiting and waiting if they don't think you are a serious case. You are better off waiting through the night to be seen by a day clinic. We got there at a reasonabl...

😠 HORRIBLE!! I was visiting from out of town. I arrived at the ER at 10pm. The check-in process is completed in front of EVERYONE and the whole waiting room will know your SSN. They’re quick to draw blood and get your vitals, but that’s it! No DR, PA, LPN or RN sees you! People who where having chest...

😠 My adult daughter who is autistic went there twice within the last week and left sobbing in pain. Zero compassion. She can barely walk and one nurse told the other don't get her a wheelchair she can walk just fine. No resolution. She is still in need of care. Horrible experience. Doctors don't want...
