Hope that you may never need to visit Hospital/ER but if you do; go here they'll take care of you. 12/17/2021 The staff that took my BP/vitals was UNEMPATHIC as it relates to the reason(s) I was there. Besides that they were efficient. The environment is clean and professional. Normalized EMPATHY, please!

Our daughter (5 yo) buckled her bones in her right forearm, we went to an urgent care but they did not have an X-ray, we drove all the way across town to go here, there was no wait, they got us in right away, the staff was friendly, kind, and empathetic. The X-ray technician and the nurses tending to her were amazing. The doctor was calm, knowledgeable. Thankful for this facility, we will only go here if there are any other emergencies. We were in and out within 45min. Highly recommend!

I'm giving stars to the nurse and doctor that assisted me while I was here yesterday. You can really tell they are compassionate and caring! But BE WARNED! They can't have signs up otherwise they'll be fined but if you have Medicaid/Medicare, they require a ridiculous up front deposit before they will treat you. I've been battling a serious issue for 2 weeks and was hoping I'd finally found a place that would actually help me. I was taken to a room quickly, the nurse and doctor both took a good deal of time to listen to me and ask questions. But before treatment could begin, they wanted me to pay $1000 up front and then a monthly payment. A woman from the office came in and she wouldn't even try to work with me. I do believe that people should be informed regarding insurance qualifications up front. Not the facility's fault but ridiculous nonetheless. Other than this issue, I highly recommend this place!

Do not go here!!!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. I have two full insurance. PPOs. I was taken to the back for my emergency visit. The doctor talked to me, said she would give me medication and run some tests. I waited for about an hour and then the front desk person came back and told me that they deemed my situation as non emergent. (My pain level alone made it emergent by accreditation standards). This is non-emergent status, apparently left me in a situation, where they said, my primary insurance, which they deemed to be Medicare., incorrect, instead of my very good private employer insurance, would not pay for my visit there and so my secondary insurance would not pay for the visit, and I would have to self pay for a second tier emergent visit, 800+200$ self pay in order to be treated. This is illegal! They did not assist me in transferring to another facility. They did not stabilized my pain. They did nothing for me. I walked outside by myself. Dragging my right leg behind me. And went to Lovelace, who treated me for an apparent rare condition that I did not know I had, which interfered with my ability to walk using my right leg and causes severe pain in the ability to use my lower half of my body. I already suffer from h-eds so I am no baby to pain. This was an extremely painful and difficult experience. This place is running against the law and JACCO requirements. “You can either self pay or leave” As a trained medical social worker I would say that this place needs to shut down. They are just trying to steal money from people and refused to treat patients who had insurance (over insurance). They said- we aren’t going to charge you anything for this, so they don’t keep records? Don’t charge for all the stuff they did to me? The doctor’ exam? That’s because it’s illegal to send people out the door without treatment like that. I left because I didn’t want to be treated by crooks and quacks at that point. Run!

Very polite, short wait time, compassionate care. Everyone from the front desk to the nursing staff to the physician were all excellent. I’m very happy with the service and will use them again for any urgent or emergent medical needs. It’s refreshing to have a hospital/ER that is physician owned and ran rather than a big corporation. You can definitely tell the difference. Appreciate your staff being there on Thanksgiving.

Absolutely the best ER and overnight experience I've ever had, anywhere. Attentive and courteous staff. The interviews and diagnostic testing were thorough and the staff actually listens before deciding what's wrong. I drove myself to Albuquerque ER rather than calling an ambulance because I wanted to be sure that I would be treated at their facility - rather than taking a chance that I be taken somewhere else! I've recommended Albuquerque ER to all of my friends and colleagues. They're that much better than the rest .

I had such an AMAZING experience!!! I walked in and the woman at the front desk was so friendly. She checked me in and before I could finish writing my name on the paperwork, they pulled me back. I was seen by a nurse and then a doctor. The doctor immediately knew what was wrong with me (which was a huge relief because I had been to an urgent care two days prior, was seen virtually and they weren’t sure what was wrong). The doc put in prescriptions for me and the nurse gave me some to take before I left. It was such a quick and pleasant experience. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, every single person I encountered was so friendly. I highly recommend this over any other place!!!

I was very impressed by the staff here. Very short wait time, and turn around time for tests and a CT scan were also quick. Everyone I spoke to was compassionate and respectful, and Dr. Foster made me feel like he genuinely cared about my condition. I even got a call back from them the next day to check in on how I was doing. Would definitely recommend this facility and would go back there again if another emergency arose!

Most of the staff is excellent. The wait is short, the facilities are clean and comfortable and the nurses, techs and front desk assistants are so kind and attentive. I've been here twice and, unfortunately, the least impressive part is the actual doctors. Derek DeTemple is horrible - no bedside manner, rude and just not the kind of person I would ever want helping me at a time when myself or a loved one is feeling sick and vulnerable. However, I would still recommend this facility only because there's a chance of being seen by another physician on duty and because the rest of the team makes up for what this one DO is lacking.

Hands down, this is the best ER experience I've ever had. Incredible response time. No waiting. All medical personnel were knowledgeable, forthcoming, informative, efficient and effective. They were also very personable. I'll never go to another hospital emergency room or urgent care facility as long as the Albuquerque ER Hospital option is available.

I came in Sunday morning and unfortunately had to stay a few days, but in those few days the staff was quick to diagnose, discuss, set action plans and get me the help I needed. Things got a little rough but even then they just adjusted and continued treatment which finally allowed me to come home Tuesday morning. The staff took such amazing gentle care of myself as well as my husband who was scared they answered his questions and made sure he was comfortable. I can’t thank the staff enough for what they did for me. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart

We were so pleased with the care and attention we received at Albuquerque ER and Hospital. The facility is sparkling clean and we only waited a short time before we were seen. The PA, the nurse and the Doctor were amazing and thorough. The follow through was impressive and they were genuinely concerned about our well being!

"Exceptional Care for Our Little One" I recently had an outstanding experience at the Albuquerque ER and hospital. As first-time parents, we were concerned when our toddler couldn't move his arm, only to find out he was perfectly fine. The entire staff, from the front desk to the physician, demonstrated remarkable understanding and empathy. Their efficiency was impressive, and our son left happily without any pain, enjoying a Capri Sun the receptionist kindly offered. We are immensely grateful for this facility and wholeheartedly recommend it to others. Five stars!

Excellent customer service and almost ZERO wait time. Saw the doctor and found out this facility DOES NOT TAKE INSURANCE. I think it's best to inform the patient, upon arrival, that the facility DOES NOT TAKE INSURANCE. If you want very fast ER care without insurance coverage, this is the place to be.

Albuquerque ER & Hospital provided an exceptional experience from start to finish. The nurses were attentive, the doctor thorough and empathetic, and even the radiology and ultrasound staff took great care of me. With a wait time of under 5 minutes, I'm confident I won't consider any other ER in the future. They've set a high standard of care, and I'm incredibly grateful for their exceptional service.

This is the CLEANEST and best ER I’ve ever been into in NM. The lobby was so clean it didn’t feel like I was in a hospital waiting area. The wait time was so quick (which is amazing when you’re feeling sick and don’t want to wait hours). The nurses & doctors are so kind, helpful and patient (I have anxiety and everyone was so understanding and kind) thank you all so much. I highly recommend, I visited the Coors location.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this ER as I had lacerated my finger on a Saturday evening and got right in! They took my insurance and I was in and out within 1.5 hours! ALL the staff and healthcare professionals were friendly and knowledgeable! This location was clean, well staffed and understanding of my needs! I would highly recommend this facility as the service and quality of care are paramount to the patient!

My husband and I walked in, and from the start this was a great experience. We weren't even done with our paperwork when they got us back to a room, and they were all kinds of nice, professional, and thorough. We had a consult with terrific doctor and nurses, and they had us tested with results, prescriptions, and paperwork in a very short amount of time. They even called us the next day to check on us! Bravo and Thank you!

Amazing service! Everyone was so caring and compassionate. The doctor and nurse were incredibly knowledgeable, patient and insightful. I was in a lot of pain and they showed genuine concern. Super fast service as well, wasn’t waiting for hours to be seen. The entire staff deserves a big raise! Thank you all for helping me!

We came from RR after leaving SRMC from a standing only ER and potential 7 hr wait. My husband had a crush injury and laceration to his hand. Bleeding for at least 2 hrs and wouldn’t stop. He got in immediately and got treated and checked out in under 4hrs. I’d give 5 stars but they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Quite a ways away from home. We called to have it changed. They told us they would and they didn’t. But overall good, fast, efficient service. Definitely recommend.

This is was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had. I was taken in quickly, the care from the nurses and front desk staff was above and beyond, the doctor took his time with me and made sure I felt completely satisfied with the care I received. We were in and out within an hour and a half. This place and the staff here are absolutely exceptional!

This was my second visit and it was just as positive experience as my first visit. Not only is the staff professional , they are very caring. I was in a lot of pain when I came in and they took immediate action to relieve my discomfort when I could get an evaluation from the doctor. Great bedside manner, explained every thing to me and gave me other options to choose from. From the receptionist to transport, nursing to doctor, it was the best patient care I could ask for!

  • 5/5 Alyssa A. 10 months ago on Google
Absolutely professional! Took time to listen, ran all necessary tests, and put patient needs first. I was seen very quickly, and appreciated the bedside manner of everyone who came to evaluate me, from the medical techs, nurses, x-ray technicians and of course doctors. The entire staff was phenomenal.

I went in and the front desk ladies were very professional. They understood my need and were quick to see how soon I could be taken back to get assessed by the doctor. The nurse was very nice and had a sense of humor which I appreciated. The doctor was in pretty quick regarding my situation and took care of my needs. I was in and out and on my way for my situation anyway. I would highly recommend this establishment if an emergency arises and you are able to drive yourself or have someone drive you versus taking an ambulance. Great service and they even provided a follow up phone call/ text to see if any further questions were needing to be answered.

We had a great experience. Obviously, going to the ER is never fun but we were seen and treated quickly. All of the staff were kind and helpful and Dr. Albright was amazing with my 7 y/o son. He made him feel comfortable and at ease even though he was scared to be there. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone in need of emergency treatment!

The ER was very attentive and efficient. I came in after 6 hrs of traveling in severe pain and they were extremely friendly and caring upon my arrival. They recognized that I was hurting badly and took measures right away to help alleviate some of my discomfort until the doctor could see me- which was relatively quick. She recognized my issues, responded accordingly, checked on my often during my recovery and then released me to go on my way once I was feeling back to myself at 100%. Best care I have had!! Highly recommend this hospital.

We had to take my daughter to get checked out, we actually had no idea of this place, but I'm glad we stopped. The service was amazing the wait time was less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The staff was courteous and very friendly. The provider was also amazing, he explained everything he was doing and gave us options for treatment. I will most definitely be visiting again if needed. ☺️

Absolutely great. Walked in, not even 5 minutes later was called in to see the doctor. They took the vitals. I explained the purpose of the visit while the doctor was already in the room while the nurse was taking the vitals. He ordered a series of test, got them done in the same facility and was out in no time. Felt very welcome and well taken care of. Need to mention my nurse Mia, and the front desk attendant Misty.

This was the most pleasant experience I’ve had at an Emergency Room. Albert (nurse) was the most kind person I’ve ever met in my life. Everyone one there was attentive and kind. The X-ray technician was also nice. The CT scan technician (wish I knew her name) was extremely nice. I didn’t have to wait to get admitted. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was.

  • 5/5 Holly C. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing staff from the registration representative to the nurses and physician. Very clean facility and everyone was kind. We waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. A nurse even came out to say hi and see why we were there! The physician and nurse putting my sons stitches in were reassuring him during the process. Great group!

I can't say THANK YOU enough to all the staff who took care of me during my visit. I have never experienced such impressive care in a hospital/ER in all my visits to a medical facility. As a patient with chronic illness I've had my share of experiences and this was by far the very best. From the moment that I walked in I was made to feel as if my concerns were heard. I sat in the receptionist desk area for maybe 45 seconds before I was brought to the back and placed in a room. I felt the urgency in finding out what's wrong with me as soon as I laid down. All the nurses and doctors were so polite, gentle, and attentive. I felt that I was in the best hands and that I was going be a lot better once they took over my care. I loved how they all worked as a team and they all communicated well with each other. My main nurse, who I can't remember her name, was so exceptional I thank her so much for reassuring me every step of the way. Her sincerity in wanting me to be well was felt with her words and actions. I am forever grateful and will always use them for any other needs that should arise. THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL THE STAFF! YOU ALL ARE DOING SUCH AMAZING WORK! I'M FOREVER GRATEFUL TO YOU ALL!

What a wonderful place. I will never go anywhere else . I drove an hour for treatment just because of all the reviews and was not disappointed. Everyone from the moment you walk in are so welcoming and attentive. Receptionists, nurses, doctor, radiology tech. I was seen immediately and got exactly what I needed for care and tests to have peace of mind and know my condition. Thank you all for your outstanding service!

  • 5/5 Brad C. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent service from beginning to end! Was taken back for treatment before even completing all the paperwork, less than 2 minute wait. All staff members were very professional, very friendly and most of all very thorough in my diagnosis and care. Total time at facility from start to finish only about an hour and a half. If you are in need of an ER for any medical emergency I would highly recommend the Albuquerque ER & Hospital!

  • 5/5 Patricia T. 1 year ago on Google
Best experience at an ER I've ever had. I will not go to any other ER, but this place. Waiting room time was less than 5 minutes. A doctor saw me in less than 10 minutes. I was amazed how smoothly this went for me. Nurses and staff were all so polite and concerned. Thank you!

My experience at this ER was incredible. I was hesitant about going in due to chest pain but they got me in immediately and were super efficient and attentive. The staff made me feel very comfortable and walked me through everything they were doing. The doctor was kind and thorough and had great bedside manner. Would recommend this ER anytime you have a medical emergency!

I brought my son in, and the staff was so friendly and caring. We didn’t have to wait long at all to be taken to a room for preliminary treatment, and the total time spent waiting was very reasonable. I really appreciate the care that the doctors and nurses showed my son. I highly recommend this ER!
