🫤 Does anyone answer the phone here? Everytime I call I always have to leave a message and end up never having an appointment until a month later. What’s the point if I could have gone to any other hospital and do that? People often mention phones, answer, phone, call,

Same day clinic is not allowed and other IHS have walk in clinics. The phones are never answered and you are on hold for hours. When you finally get through they say the schedule is full. I go to UNM urgent care and they tell me to go back to my primary doctor at IHS but i can’t get in and appts are weeks out. This clinic needs to be updated and more providers. It’s old and with a city like abq they should have a bigger IHS. “Your estimated wait time is 1 min” Waits 20 mins for someone to answer or leave a message

They never answer the phone it's very hard to get ahold of the doctors. Leave messages and they never return calls ,called all day had to leave work and physically go there to ask a question that could have been easily answered on the telephone.

Poor patient services. No one ever answers the phone for someone to make an appointment and when someone does they always give you another number to call back that no one answers. Yet when you go to get seen there’s always ladies just sitting behind the desks talking to one another. They could be the ones answering phones and making appointments!!! Ridiculous!!!

I can never get a hold of anyone when calling to make an appointment.... 4.10.19 11.00am I've been trying to get ahold of someone since 2 months ago. I been trying all morning since 9am and it keeps ringing. I think they turn off the ringer as to avoid answering phones. Idk why they hire people who have no desire to answer phones or take appointments. Helping others is key if you decided to take a job in the health care field. If you have none . Leave this job. Also never leave a message that somehow ends up missing or lost. I left one for the optometrist name phone everything. Well add you guessed. .. I'M STILL WAITING

Service & staff are great although I haven’t had a primary doctor since 2017. Health professionals are hard to come by because of the pandemic concerns. Can’t change because other health care facilities aren’t taking new patients. Each time I have an appointment, I notice a lot of people there and they seem busy. My problem is that no one answers the phones. You leave a message and no one calls you back. When you have a health concern that doesn’t require a 911 call and you spend a couple hours trying to call a live person it gets stressful, especially when you finally talk to someone and they transfer your call and you wait again. IHS needs to update their antiquated system and find better ways to assist Native clients.

Worst place for healthcare to go. If it is an option to go other places without a GIGANTIC hassle. I would Definitely recommend that.

Never picked up the phone. I called all morning and at noon someone answer only to tell me they weren't taking anymore appointments. When I asked why no one answered earlier I was told they were not allowed to answer the phones. Then i asked when they start answering phones and they said whenever they got to it.

A HUGE Thank You to the employees at Albuquerque Indian Health Services who worked with us, and even called back to make sure we were taken care of. Total fail on the part of Presbyterian Hospital teaming up with Indian Health Services to conduct Covid-19 testing, and not giving out the testing results. My mother and I spent nearly an hour trying to find someone who could tell us our results. Oh, and Pres doesn't report the results to NMDOH either, where you normally can get your results no matter where you test.

Came 10 min late, took a dump, came back and the IHS lady said "tried calling you three times, get outta here and come back next time" Not a happy camper.

I love this place. I've been seen here since I was a baby! I love my rheumatologist! I recommend Shannon Nunez. I also had amazing experiences with all other staff. Labs, xray and 3rd floor staff. Everyone is kind and respectful of your needs! Highly recommend for natives and their families!

I’ve had a much better experience here than with non-IHS clinics.

Registration staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the process simple with checking in. Nurse and Mr. Harris were professional and efficient with providing services. Pharmacy was quick. Large waiting rooms, elevators work, and flat screen tv’s work great. Facility and restrooms are always clean despite the age of the building (although the restrooms have been renovated and look great), overall very pleased with the quality of service to our native people.

👍 We all know how hard it is to get in to see these guys. Dr. Gonzalez has limited time, but is willing to explain to you what she sees using the diagram and also listens and repeats back what you have said while taking notes. She has a good demeanor. Four stars out of five because of time limitations...

😠 This is the 4th time I’ve posted this review, let’s see if they delete it again. I am appalled at what I witnessed in this emergency room the morning of October 18th. While visiting my daughter, who was in a room across from the nurses station, I saw a doctor yell at, berate, intimidate, and threat...

😠 They charge you hundreds of dollars for prenatal care. My insurance will pay 100% of prenatal visits (thanks to aca) but they refuse to bill it this way. They are just trying to get more money out of their patients and don't care about their health. I'll be finding a new provider, someone who doesn'...

😠 If I could rate them lower than 1 star, I would. If at all possible, don’t become a patient at this practice. If you do, steer clear of Ashley Quintana as a provider. She will feed you false statistics about your preferred choice for birth control and effectively bully you out of your own right to c...
