Dwain Kindelberger has coached me for years and has literally changed my life Best of the best! Not only the best in Albuquerque by far. But easily the best I've seen in my 30 years of lifting. Anywhere I've been in the country. The owner Dwain is hands down the most knowable gym owner I've ever met. There's really not anything he can't help you improve on. If you don't check out this gym your doing yourself a disservice.

We popped in to see what the Gym had to offer Me (69), and Hubby (77). The gym had every machine you could imagine, infact it, was quite crowded with machines. We were told it's mostly a body building gym. It was not busy, we saw 1 customer and 2 employees. This was around 11:45 am. The young man we talked to was very pleasant and recommended we go to another gym. Pssst, a little pricey. We will go back to our gym across town.

I love this gym! New equipment (and lots of it!), always clean, and an overall great atmosphere for people serious about working out. People are friendly, and the owners are always there to help any questions you may have. Can't ask for more!

This is by far the best gym I have ever been to. The owners are knowledgeable, professional and treat you like long time friends. The gym is meticulously clean and the equipment is state of the art. I highly recommend this gym.

I am working with Dwain on nutrition and personal training and it has been going great so far. He has made every effort to work with my physical therapist to help in my recovery and return to sports from an injury. I really love the atmosphere, the cleanliness and the friendliness of both the staff and other gym goers - everyone has a smile. I'm only a few weeks in, but I can already tell I've made improvements and will continue to trust in Dwain and the process!

Hands down, this is the best gym in Albuquerque period! If your serious about your workouts and the goals you want to accomplish this is the gym for you!!!

Dwaine (and crew) run a fantastic operation. This is not a gym, this is a place where people work and improve. The equipment is top notch. The environment is not flexing. It is a collaborative dedicated community.

Just recently moved to Albuquerque and fell in love with this gym. Has the best equipment, atmosphere, and support of any gym that I looked at. Whether you’re just visiting or moved here I highly recommend you give this gym a chance.

I've been a member of Designer Bodies for over two years now and I love the variety of high-quality equipment, the cleanliness, how you don't have to wait to use the machines, and the friendliness of the staff and members. The owners take a lot of pride in their facility and it shows!

I really enjoy this gym, I tried it out for the first time last week and it was great. Super clean, peaceful, comfortable, didn’t have to wait for machines, good environment, and honestly very nice people! 110% would recommend!💪🏽

WOW! I can't believe how amazing this gym is. Everything from the staff, culture, equipment, lighting, and water machine is amazing. I have never gotten such personalized, friendly service. I felt like I was part of the family from the second I walked in the door. I'm from out of town, so I was just getting a day pass, but I was treated like I owned the place. Completely blown away by my experience here. They have some of the best machines I've trained on. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

This gym has been such an amazing place thus far. The equipment is the best in its class, location is always clean, never crowded, and the environment is in a league of its own. Really happy to have found my spark again thanks to this world class gym. Hats off to the owner and staff for an incredible gym.

I probably would have signed up for this gym, but I never lock myself into a gym membership until I try out the facility. You never know what the crowd is like, how busy it is when you need to go etc. Dwayne, supposedly the owner answered when I called to ask if I can try the gym for a week. He tells me it's $15 per day or $50 for the week?? Really?? Seems like they're not worried about having dedicated members and just worried about stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. They would have made more letting me try the gym for a week and having me as a member for years since I just moved to ABQ. I'm not a New Years resolution type member. Oh well Defined and Chuze let me try theirs and this one actually seemed better because it's smaller. But I would never get a membership after being told I can pay $15 a day or $50 for the week. Guess the big corporate gyms win again.

This gym is fantastic. The owner has always been nice and respectful to everyone. The gym stays clean all the time and they keep their equipment up to date and never had any questionable equipment. If you want to have a great gym to go to without feeling any pressure or judgement from those around, you need to go here.

The best gym I have been to in Albuquerque by far. Designer Bodies has it all! Awesome equipment, the best staff, and a family friendly environment. They don’t give prices over the phone, but membership is very reasonable if you want the best equipment/weight lifting facility and an encouraging environment for any fitness level. This gym is worth checking out

What an amazing gym with the most up to date equipment and world class owner and trainer. My time there was short due to geography but there definitely needs to be 2 of these gyms. I give it 10 stars.

From the moment you walk in you feel like at home (gym family)… You can go to any gym and good luck with them really getting to know you or your name.. not only does this place have state of the art equipment but it’s like the (cheers of gyms) everybody knows your name 90s joke… I dare you to step in and workout…

I just wanted to give a shout out to Dwayne, isaiah and simon. They are the absolute best. This gym has hands down the best equipment but what really drives it home is the environment and community, as someone on the spectrum, its extremely hard to find a comfortable place to workout. At most of the other gyms theres an air of underlying hostility and aggression that makes it hard to focus and remain undisturbed but at designer bodies the vibe is totally different. Everyone is kind there, people go out of their way to help and be cordial.most everyone is more than happy to let you work in on a piece of a equipment that they’re using and the staff is super knowledgeable.its also the cleanest gym ive ever seen. The bathrooms are always sparkling and the gym is always spotless. If you’re going anywhere else you’re wasting money. Designer bodies> anywhere else. -zach
