The caliber of the teaching, the community, the space, and all that is offered makes SWEAT absolutely one of a kind. It is one of Albuquerque’s greatest gems. The amenities they offer free of charge like daycare (if you’re a member) and showers/towels/mats also makes the studio extra special, because it’s convenient and accessible for everyone. They also let you bring a guest for free with you if you’re a member which underscores their values for building community and cultivating a beautiful space for people to connect and grow as yogis. I would honestly have a hard time moving out of Albuquerque solely because I don’t think I’d be able to find a yoga studio that encourages and supports my practice and well-being the way SWEAT does.

I started going to Sweat Hot Yoga about 5 years ago. Around that same time I started developing super powers...coincidence? Maybe. The teachers are great! The studio is super clean and looks something like a Pinterest page. To an outsider you might be intimidated but it’s a super friendly place that is accessible for all. If you are a hand-stander, a first-time practitioner, or anywhere on the yoga spectrum you are going to get a beautifully designed sequence that challenges you at your own level. Complimentary Yoga mats, yoga towels, shower towels, hipster soap and deodorant make the experience feel like a day at the spa. Would recommend to a friend! Pro tip: Ask for the “Infinity flow” off of the secret menu in one of Dave’s classes.

Sweat Yoga is my go to yoga studio. I am constantly impressed by the attention to detail that is put into every aspect of their space. Not only is the space clean and delightful aesthetically, the moment you set foot in the door you are welcomed with a smile. The staff and instructors are amazing guides no matter if you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner. The sense of community that is created at Sweat is truly special. I have never felt like I had to be something other than I was to belong.

SWEAT has consistently amazing yoga classes in a safe environment, suitable for ALL levels. They provide mats, towels, props, and exceptional instruction. The heat is state of the art and adds significant humidity, perfect to open up the lungs and facia of the body. This is the cleanest yoga studio I have been to and have the little things like fresh flowers. The staff and community at SWEAT are inviting and friendly.

This is a place worth celebrating. The teachers at SWEAT strike a remarkable balance between being highly knowledgeable and incredibly encouraging. Their guidance has been instrumental in my journey. One aspect that I've appreciated is the precise control over the studio's temperature and humidity. It's always perfectly maintained, creating an ideal environment for practice. I must say, having explored various studios in different locations, I can confidently assert that this studio stands out as the best. It's not only the finest in Albuquerque but holds its own as the best studio I've had the pleasure of practicing in, anywhere. I am grateful to have found this studio and look forward to many more inspiring sessions.

BEWARE! Yoga will never be the same after going to Sweat :) I moved away from Albuquerque over two years ago and have yet to find another studio that is anything like Sweat. I think about their classes often and miss it so much. Their teachers are absolutely amazing and the studio is top noche. They have the perfect balance of heat and humidity in the room and every class feels so nourishing to the body.

Best yoga studio in ABQ! Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. The studio is very clean and the classes are challenging! Angela’s Thursday hot Pilates class will kick your butt. It’s the hardest class in ABQ! All of the teachers are incredible and I’ve taken about 300 classes here and never taken a class that I didn’t enjoy.

This place is great! The teachers are amazing; each unique in their instruction but equally challenging. The entire studio is very clean. Fellow yogis are pleasant and supportive. I highly recommend.

I tried numerous yoga studios before joining Sweat 4 years ago! It is truly an amazing place. The facilities, the classes, and the community are unmatched. So thankful I found this gem of a place that makes me happy every single week!

If you are looking for mindful, breath to movement yoga - this is the place for you! The classes are unique as are the teachers. If you want to release tension, become more mobile, learn self control (mental and physical) through breath, there is a class for you. If you want to build core muscles or heal from an injury , there is a class for you. The classes are challenging, but in a way that make you feel strong and with a sense of renewal. If you are a man reading this review, you won't be alone in class! If you’re looking for a challenging, fun, youthful vibe this is it. Thank you SWEAT!

SWEAT is a very special place. The instructors each offer a unique set of gifts that will challenge you in all the right ways. The facility is beautiful and welcoming and the hot room is one of a kind. I have been practicing yoga at SWEAT for over eight years now and am grateful a studio of this caliber exists in ABQ. I have continued my yoga journey at this studio through two pregnancies, a few surgeries, and a 200 hr yoga teacher training. I keep coming back for more because it truly is a one of a kind studio. 10/10 recommend.

I've been practicing 3–7 times a week at SWEAT yoga for two years now and I cannot recommend it enough. Great ambiance, instructors, amenities, and community here. It's a wonderful place to practice and I couldn't recommend it more.

Shannon teaches with eloquence and elegance, Marisa's classes are like poetry, Lindsey's classes skillfully build confidence and trust. So many positives at this beautiful well cared for studio with lovely owners and a unique vibe in the hot yoga world. LOVE!

This is by far the only place I go to for a Sweaty Yoga Sesh. I also like the Santa Monica location, but the Playa one is more intimate with easier validated parking in the neighboring garage. I love all the instructors and especially like the Sweat Chizzle with Leigh. The lavender towel is such a special perk. It really makes the experience a special moment. All classes are different and challenge me. The heat is good for loosening the muscles but not too much to make it impossible.

Great hot yoga studio and instructors! Purposeful breath centered warm-up, followed by a progressive challenging flow and cool down. These folks welcome and encourage all levels of practitioners and create a respectful all-inclusive environment. I'll be back!

I really wanted to like this place, and maybe I just came on an off day, but this being my first class, I had expected to feel much more welcome. I was very quickly shown around (and the class room door was just pointed out and then the teacher quickly went back to the front). Ok, I get it - it’s a busy time getting people checked in. But then after class no one said a word to me. Not “how did you like the class?” or asked if I had any questions, or even a simple “enjoy the rest of your day.” I felt awkward. No one mentioned anything about membership options, which I was interested in, but I was never given an opportunity to inquire. I’ve practiced yoga for over 20 years in 5 different states and I hate to say it, but this place was kinda disappointing. I know not every experience is going to be perfect, and we all have off days; but, if I was the owner, I would want to know about a potential customer’s experience. Also, I have to note that the Flow 60 class itself was pretty basic - little to no instruction if you wanted to take poses to the next level or maybe try an arm balance, except one time the instructor said if you wanted to go into a handstand you could (which almost seemed random). Missed opportunities to offer even basic arm balances like crow or side crow, maybe eight angle… You can truly cater to ALL levels if you just provide a few more advanced options for people to try. Maybe this is offered in other classes?

It has always been a nice experience here, to have such a place that combines the mastery of yoga and balance of breathing, meditation, and postures. I learn so much from great teachers like DJ, Marissa, Alison, Lindsay, Jeff, Nathan, Kara, Chloe, Meredith, Julie, Avery, Shannon.

Been going here for 7 years, and LOVE this place. Staff & ownership are always helpful, responsive, welcoming, and warm. Classes are some of the best in town! I especially enjoy Ali's classes. Her energy, direction, and challenging poses brings a great balance.

Sweat Yoga is my home yoga studio, and I would absolutely recommend the studio, and every single teacher, to every yogi in the Albuquerque area. I feel challenged in every class I take-whether it be to amplify my practice, or to learn when to scale it back-the teachers offer modifications for every level, creating a safe space to explore my practice. They really do create a feeling of community. On top of all that they have great, clean facilities and yoga mats/props to use.

Sweat Yoga Studio is a very welcoming, supportive and positive place to practice hot yoga. I never thought in a million years that I would be doing hot yoga but I absolutely love it! The facilities are excellent, they provide everything you need from mats to towels, showers, etc. The instructors are great, I love this place! I highly recommend Sweat Yoga Studio to everyone for their hot yoga practice.
