Just had to take time to recognize this AMAZING volleyball club! My daughter joined last year in the middle of the club season and I have been beyond impressed. She had two amazing coaches for her 12 Local team (Lynae and Shandiin) who not only supported her growth and potential as an athlete but also embraced and encouraged the ENTIRE team. The camaraderie and cohesiveness of the NM Cactus Volleyball Club as a whole keeps it a cut above the rest. The club director Nia has every player's best interest at heart and it shines through her award winning enthusiasm and love for volleyball. John and Debbie run the BEST snack bar and athletes from different clubs are always made to feel welcomed here during tournaments. When you see neon green on the courts it's because we wear it with our Cactus pride! CACTUS ON THREE.. 1-2-3... GO CACTUS!!! 🌵🌟🌵

We love NM Cactus! Great facility with a family like environment. Not only is the club, director and Coache's, teaching my daughter's how to play volleyball they're teaching life lessons.

If I could, I would give this zero stars. Worst experience we could have provided our daughter. They want to squeeze as much money out of you as possible with very low skilled coaching and administration. Some of the coaches might be OK, however, the coach we experienced was very unprofessional, unskilled and punitive. She cursed at the girls and created a very divisive environment. The administration did not intervene after repeated requests for help. They will entice you with all kinds of promises of great coaching and a great supportive atmosphere. However, they don’t deliver!

Coach Nia and her staff have been amazing! We've had one kid with her for four years and the other two years. They have had so much growth on the court and personally, and I give credit to the coaches and family environment. If you're looking for a volleyball club that you're kid is not just a dollar sign, then this is the club for you.

I love the warm and friendly atmosphere at NM Cactus. The Coaches are friendly, Administration is always willing to help. NM Cactus teaches volleyball skills, but they also teach life skills. I would have no problem recommending NM Cactus to my friends and family.

Director has great goal to keep it family& team oriented. Facility is nice. Personal experience will be like much of life. Depends on who you're working with.

Great facility. There for a tournament management was on point. Operation smooth. Wish we had program like this in our hometown

My daughter played 3 seasons with Cactus. We had our ups and downs, which is NOT why I am here. My daughter decided to play her last year as a Senior elsewhere. Not only were we promised reimbursement via a fundraiser we did for a tournament we traveled to (this never got processed and were now being told NO) we have requested our daughters funds to be transferred to her new volleyball club and Nia, the owner refuses to do so because she has PERSONAL beef with the director. Our daughters player funds should not be tied up over this clubs personal affairs and non compete agreements! Unfortunately now we will have to spend her last year in court just to get her funds transferred over to her new club to play! I would not put my money into any accounts at Cactus Volleyball Club.

Limited seating for the number of parents there (perhaps notify visitors somehow that they should bring their own folding chair), but good variety of yummy food available at the snack bar, a bit expensive for entry ($5 per person for a 3-4 hour tournament whereas other locations we have been visitors to have been $1 or free), and staff/volunteers are sometimes friendly/sometimes not. Overall average experience, not the best - but not the worst!

Any club ball is pricey, but cactus is the best because they have concessions set up at Isleta Amphitheater that allow the girls to make money to pay for thier fees.

My daughters have been playing club volleyball for 4 years and hands down this is the best one! It is a family not just a club and the owner is a God Send to all of us, we are extremely happy with Cactus! Can’t wait to watch my 2 girls skill level grow with this club. I’ve seen so much growth this year alone 💚🖤💚
