Can't say enough good things about this family oriented athletic center. My husband is an avid swimmer of their heated outdoor pool and insists on going a couple times a week. Even in the summer, some lanes are reserved for the swimmers. I'm partial to the cardio and weight room for rehab. My personal trainer, Daniel, is the most understanding and knowledgeable of trainers, will do anything to coordinate your schedule with routines that are not high pressure, but suitable to your abilities. All the areas are Covid safe and clean.

We love our workout spot and the staff is so friendly! The gym is amazing and there's actually a place to do laps up top looking down over the courts! There's a place for our children and the food is terrific!

Great place for working out. They also have a kid program and for summer a swim while you trim program! They watch your kids swim while you workout! Lots to offer!

Do not take swimming lesson here!! We took lessons here last summer. Worst summer program investment we've made. It would be better to buy lessons at the public pool and just swim with them after to practice. The teachers were unmotivated teens - they started lessons late, ended them early, and weren't fully engaged during the lesson. Multiple times I had to walk up to the gaggle of teen instructors and ask if we were starting lessons. When I talked with the aquatics director about it, she did nothing to prompt the instructors to start or end on time. (If I was paying $40 per lesson, it wouldn't be a big deal, but these lessons are expensive and so I expect a certain level of professionalism from the instructors as well as the director - which we did not see.) I emailed and talked with the director in-person. I was surprised at how apathetically she was about responding to the instructors being on time. They also had an infestation of black widows. Even the kids at their camp were talking about how many they'd seen outside. I told the front desk person but never saw anything change. Ultimately, the kids swimming skills only got marginally better because they missed so much time in the pool. I will never send my kids back here, and I'll tell people to go to fish factory or another place for lessons because what you get is NOT WORTH the price. It's so disappointing. I have a friend who took her kids here to make sure that all their swimming lesson in the past stuck. She had a good experience. Ours was horrible and I'll be telling everyone to invest their money elsewhere because the quality of the JCC's swimming lessons is very low. UPDATE: The comment below said they would reach out to make things right. As of 7/7/23, I have not been contacted by them - either by phone or email. Not only do they provide a sub-par product, but they're also not true to their word.

Threat of Physical Gun Violence at Jewish Community Center, located at 5520 Wyoming Blvd, NE A JCC security employee recognized that double-parking created an environment where an altercation could result in injuries or even death. Thus, this employee requested that I take photos of doubled-parked cars and email them to him. I sent emails for a period of 40 days. This employee’s email response was "Thanks!" However, this JCC employee did a 180-reversal, no longer wanted emails with photos of cars double-parked, and stated that he would revoke my membership if he received any more emails of JCC double-parked cars. Confused, surprised, and not understanding why his 180-reversal had arisen, had occurred, and happened, I reminded him that he had and still recognizes the danger of double-parking, that he asked for these emails of double park cars and that he thanked me for those emails. The conversation was recorded and continued for about 20 minutes. Suddenly, he invaded my physical security zone placing his face 12 inches from mine. I became terrified, intimidated, and agitated. He stated, "Someone with a badge and a gun is that who you need to listen to!" which the complete altercation has been recorded. He is approximately 200 lbs. with a physic of a body builder. His attempt to provoke a physical altercation with a male of just 135 lbs. and 5 ft 2 in failed. Fearing for my safety, I immediately left JCC thus ending my JCC membership, and filed a Police incident report with APD. The total conversation has been recorded. Completed a Spinning Certification at the facility. The facility looked well equipped for all fitness programs. Impressed with the location and tue amenities. The staff was courteous. I would love to be able to get a day pass for when I am in town visiting.

Boss or whatever there is weird and two females that work there don’t know how to shut up and clean properly for the life of em. All the cleaning crew is great besides going for the female locker room. Not cleaned whatsoever. She practically just throws blue chemicals in there and just let’s it sit. Also thought I saw mold there other than that its ok

UPDATE: They need to figure out the A/C situation in the gym. Place is a sauna and makes it very uncomfortable to exercise. Place is awesome. Nice gym, friendly staff. Definitely need to figure out what time of the day to go to avoid the high kids, but other than that, it's great.

JCC is a safe, inclusive, and safe facility with friendly staff and members! We had two kids in private swim lessons and they absolutely loved it! The pool is beautiful and the swim instructors did such a great job that I could hardly get my kids to leave!

JCC is an amazing place. There is something for everyone. The staff is friendly and security is top-notch. I love working out there and I highly recommend their annual event, Samson Challenge. It is a blast.

Best gym in Albuquerque, better than any I could find in Phoenix, LA too. The price? Pricing perfection is priceless itself.

I love being a lifeguard at the JCC! I have a lot of pride in my work and find the community members to be particularly endearing. Our pool has so many different activities available that i see people from 3 months old to 90+ and all different skill levels throughout the week; it makes me so happy to be able to protect these folks while they're having a great time

Went looking for Ruthie's bagels. This place could use a redesign to be more accommodating to people with more common areas, signage, and art. They should expand the food service kitchen to make it more than a concession stand for a swimming pool, and more like a cafe. This stark concrete facility needs some creativity, otherwise, they should have just made the swimming pool engulf the whole property.

Bought a day pass to just go swimming and we had a great time. The environment was comfortable, safe and not crowded. We had the option to work with our son on his swimming, our son also had the option to play in the pool, and we had the option to swim laps. The staff were really friendly. I must say I'm very impressed with how much they have grown since I was in high school.

Very clean facilities and amazing staff! Awesome summer programs for my children. Also if you are looking for someone to watch your baby or toddler while you're at work the Family Enrichment Center is truly amazing. You're kid will be loved, have fun, and learn everything he or she needs to be way ahead of the other children going into Kindergarten. My son went there after bad experiences with other places in town, and there are not enough great things I can saw about the F.E.C.

I actually don't have any details about the jcc. My visit was limited to the blood mobile parked in front of the jcc. Thank you so much for hosting the blood donation! Years ago, my kids attended some activities there, and my memories of the place are great! But I have no recent data on which to base a review.

👍👍 Fun place to get out walk around, come early for parking can be a challenge. Prices are super high on most things. $6 for a average size bundle of radishes is a bit high for me. Lots of good food vendors.
