Staff was courteous and professional no problem there. Building is dated no renovations probably since it was built. Most door jams and casing kits show signs of rust, staining and paint deterioration. Hallway carpets are extremely stained. Smell of marijuana permeates the hallways and now that it’s legal in NM I’m sure it will be a regular issue not just at this location but hotels all across the state. Walls are extremely thin. I can tell you what the folks in the next room talked about all night long. I eventually turned the room AC and fan on just to avoid listening to their conversation.. Bar and grill is extremely expensive for what is served. 2 draft beers and a basic burger is 30 dollars. You’re better off going into town and dining at a nice restaurant. Although the lodging fee is anywhere from $110 - 160+ plus a night depending which night you stay, this is an $80.00 hotel at best.. Above ground parking is tight and minimal, there is underground parking at this location. The main benefit to staying at this hotel is its close to I25 , rite next to the airport and as far away as you can possibly get from the Albuquerque slums and riffraff…. No disrespect intended to anyone just keeping it real folks..

Parking is pretty limited. Staff was friendly. AC was out in the lobby, so it was unbearable to sit at the bar. Rooms pretty standard for Hilton Garden Inn, small ac that blows ice cold air in 5 minute bursts. Bathroom door that prevents you from walking in and out of the hotel room unless it's closed. Shower had brown stains on the inside. A pretty typical experience for this brand under the Hilton Umbrella.

A hotel near the airport where you can stay for a couple of days. The hotel has 4 stars, but personally I find it too many. It is noticeable that it is a fairly old and not renovated hotel. The room is big enough and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is simple and there is everything you need. I tried to open the windows of the bedroom in order to get some fresh air but was not possible. The staff are helpful, but not professional. It is a simple hotel with a very old lift. It's not bad, overall it's nice, I'd say it deserves 3 stars and not 4.

Place looks nice inside and out but only thing is the parking sucks!! Theirs an underground parking but it’s not lower car friendly and the roads are awful. But they have A security guard that starts at 10pm and watches the cars that’s a plus , the staff up front they were great and but our family that stayed on the 3rd floor with us and they said their room was hunted, they keep hearing knocking noise and someone walking around so they didn’t get enough sleep , our room was 304 king room . Slept good, no noise and glad the walls are not thin like some hotel so it was good. Only thing was one trash can and one wash cloth so that I didn’t like . But other then that it’s all good.

We had a horrible experience with this Hilton. First off the parking garage was leaking water, not only at the entrance but also deep inside the garage. Additionally when we were walking to our room, we passed the pool which had murky water, lots of water on the tiles, something covered in blue tarp, traffic cones blocking off part of the area, and tons of drinks and garbage on the only table in the room. When we entered our room, it was hot and humid, with the thermostat falling off of the wall. When we tried to connect to the internet, the process was slow and clunky. I had to forget the network numerous times to finally gain internet access. Furthermore, the bathroom lock barely works. I would say this is one of the worst hotels I stayed at 13 days into our trip, along being one of the more expensive ones, only being beaten by hotels in the middle of Pasadena California.

I’ve been staying at Hilton locations for years this location has been the worst experience I have ever had. Choose a different locations and save your self the headache. As soon as the shuttle driver picked us up at the airport he was talking rudely about the front desk stating “they had no ideas how to do their jobs” because they had instructed us to wait at gate 2 but the driver parked at 4, mind you that’s before we even check in. After checking in we were told the shuttle could only be used as transportation to the airport and not to any other locations as had been arranged months in advance. We had to ask multiple times for simple things like toilet paper and towels. We had to go to go to the front desk to retrieve them as they were never brought up the previous times we asked for them. The pool looks nothing like the pictures shared they have caution tape blocking uneven floors.

My family did an overnight here as a pit stop after a long drive. This was our first stay at this location, which is near the airport if you need to catch a flight. Parking, while free, is quite limited for a hotel this size. Our check-in was quite effortless, and the attendant on duty was very polite. I was a bit shocked to learn that while breakfast would be available, it came at an additional cost of $16 per person. It's easy to tell that when this hotel, when new, was quite nice. She's a bit dingy now. The room itself was adequate, but the pillows in our room are in need of replacement. There were 3 on both beds, but they were smelly, and I had to cover mine with a t-shirt to block the odors. It appeared to be a temporary, contractual thing, but there was limited programming on the television. No big deal for me because all I wanted was a good night's rest. My wife and daughter were unhappy with that situation.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over night during our cross country travel. The room was fine, had what we needed for the night. The lobby is unbearably hot but looking at the other reviews this seems to be a continuous unresolved issue. The breakfast is $15 per person and did not seem worth that price point. The biggest thing is the luggage carrier on top of our roof of the car was stolen in the night and when we discovered this I talk to the manager Kyle who told us that there weren’t any cameras except in the entrance. He said he would check the cameras to see if there was anything. We still haven’t heard from him to let us know either way, it’s been 3 days and counting. While we were waiting at the hotel there wasn’t any empathy from the staff nor assistance. I understand that the staff has objectives for the the day but your costumer just had $6000+ worth of items stolen from their parking lot, I’d figure there would be some sort of compassion. We just felt like a burden while talking with the police and the staff just staring at us. After talking with businesses that surround the hotel to try and see if they have cameras facing that lot, they said that their businesses had been robbed recently. It feels that the hotel isn’t looking after their clients since they’d know the safety of this area better than any of us. I’m not expecting them to catch the people that did it but provide any help that they can. Overall, this has been the worst experience I would highly recommend TO NOT stay at this hotel! They had zero compassion and did not go out of their way to assist or help their clients. THIS AREA IS UNSAFE!!! This will be the last time that I choose to stay with Hilton!

Rude and disrespectful front desk service should be fired. My husband and I stayed here during the weekend. I would suggest you look for somewhere else to stay. My room was not cleaned and the sheets were not changed we found crumbs in between the sheets. We had to go Walmart to buy our own blankets and pillows. We paid for a specific room and was given something different, the error was never credited to our account nor was the issue fixed. The front desk was so rude to us just for requesting the room be cleaned properly. The indoor pool was disgusting, dirty and freezing. Never again will we ever stay here, its not worth the money nor my time to be dealing with disrespectful employees.

Failed to check the reviews on this one. Though it's Hilton and I've never had a bad experience in a Hilton hotel until now. Interesting enough out of the 4 different hotels I stayed in 6 days this the only one that did not send me a "write a review" email. Stayed in room 205, mini fridge needs to be replaced it made a loud noise all night. My husband and I did not sleep because of it. The room was Soo hot even though we saw the controls and put it for 73 ...it was at 78F and it did not feel like it went down at all. They had the worst pillows ever. The basement parking lot says something of the words of "hotel not responsible for damaged vehicles" because it is a low clearance parking lot. Instead of putting the height limit they placed that sign everywhere. How about putting the clearance height right there? How difficult is that. Also by our door there was what it was clear a covid test swab the whole day so gross 🤢 we checked in and went out came back the swab was still there disgusting.

The room was clean, but the beds were really uncomfortable. The pool and hot tub advertised online were closed. Also the water for showering was cold and never did warm up even after three people tried to shower. We were really disappointed with our stay overall.

Hello, I prepaid for our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Albuquerque (Airport Location). The day before my wife checked in, I called the location to make sure she wouldn't have any trouble checking in without me, as I just had eye surgery and wouldn't be able to join her as I had previously planned. They assured me it would not be a problem. Instead, when she checked in, they said she needed a separate card to hold the room charges, as they didn't have any record of my prepaid room. This already stressed out my wife as she wasn't expecting to have to do this. I called numerous times to talk to the manager who was not available. When she finally returned my call, she said she "receives reports of prepaid rooms on Fridays, so mine wasn't in her records." ( This was a Monday, and I prepaid on the Hilton website on Sat) I am sorry, but in this age of technology, can that really be true? Ridiculous. But she did say she would look into it and make sure my wife's card wasn't charged. This morning I received the automatic checkout folio and it says that the room charges WILL be settled on my wife's credit card! What is going on here?! Is this really a Hilton property?! I have a credit card statement that says I have already been charged for this room! Why am I being charged twice for the same stay? I have been a loyal Hilton Honors member for a while, and usually get great service. This is a huge let down. Very frustrated and upset at having to strain my one good eye after surgery to have to write this. Very disappointed in Hilton right now. Inexcusable. Now I look at previous reviews and see that other people have been charged twice at this location before. Buyer Beware! The funny thing is that I had previously stayed at this exact location last week for 2 days prior to my surgery, and I booked through Expedia with ZERO issues. But when I booked through Hilton as a Hilton Honors Member, this is what happens. I guess membership does NOT have its privileges. I will have to think twice before booking with Hilton again in the future.

Worst experience at a HILTON in over 40 years. We would definitely NEVER return to this one! 1. We arrived at 2pm and asked for early check-in but were told there were no rooms available yet - told the same thing at 5pm, even though check-in is at 3pm. 2. The trashcan outside was flowing over into the planter area so we mentioned that to the front desk clerk and 2 hours later when we came down, nothing had been done and trash was blowing into the shrubs. 3. There were no trashcans inside the lobby area either and there were newspapers and empty water bottles strewn about. 4. The receptionist checked us in while eating a bowl of Raman Noodles in her other hand. TACKY! 5. We waited 15 minutes to get a room because at 5pm "the system has not been updated and I show no availability". 6. Brochures and fliers of events in the area were all for September and the first of October - this was October 23rd. 7. The bar wasn't open when we came down at 6:30, even though the sign says 5pm and dinner was not being served, even though the sign says 5pm also. 8. The receptionist and a chef were sitting over in the bar area huddled and holding hands and doing nothing about the filth inside and outside, and she would only get up when someone new arrived at the front desk.

Check-in is listed as 3:00 p.m. arrived at 3:00 p.m. and room wasn't clean no excuse for this. The heated indoor pool was ice cold and so was the room the pool was in. Stayed here to catch a flight home from vacation was told to come down to the front desk and they would call a shuttle for us. Arrived at the front desk at 5:00 a.m. no one was on duty and hadn't been for at least an hour as other people were waiting for assistance. My son had to find the number for the shuttle and call it himself so we wouldn't miss our flight we were not the first people that had to do this

This hotel would be perfectly fine if the walls were not paper thin. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, though, I could hear my neighbor's TV through the wall very clearly. This would not have been so bad if they did not decide to, and I kid you not about this, watch a documentary about Scotland which blasted me awake with the sound of bagpipes at 5 am. Also, if you happen to be in the bathroom at the same time as your neighbor, it literally sounds you are peeing next to each other, which is a level of intimacy I was not prepared for.

4 stars given because I had to change rooms last minute due to rooms not cleaned properly. It was late 11PM and had to wait for 30 mins to switch to another room. Thank you for the manager who helped me at the last minute with limited staff and assisting other customers as well. The location is convenient and close to the airport. A bonus for the free airport shuttle. Recommend for travelers.

The person at the front desk when we checked in was polite and welcoming. For being so close to the airport, it’s pretty quiet. You only notice an airplane taking off once in a while, and it’s not as loud as the a/c. The parking would be a joke if you weren’t worried about your car being where you left it. The graffiti carved in the elevator is a nice touch. The bed and pillows give off a nice motel 5 vibe. (Yes motel 5 not motel 6. Tom Bodett wouldn’t touch the light switch for you here) The walls seem as thick as the puke stained curtains. They are so thin I heard someone in the next room fart.

  • 2/5 Jon L. 8 months ago on Google
This place is run-down. No A/C in lobby for two days. Health department had the pool closed down. The doors to the bathrooms in two of our three rooms wouldn’t close because the frames were bent and rusted. Beds were too soft. Baseboards were coming off of the wall. No way to completely close the curtains to keep light out. The restaurant food is terrible. They charge for breakfast, so plan on going somewhere else. Our room also shared a door with the adjoining room, allowing us to hear everything going on in there, including what they were watching on TV as if they were in our room.

  • 4/5 Jamie R. 1 year ago on Google
No issues at all. The lobby was nice and seemed freshly renovated. The rooms were large enough, but could use some refreshing. The fridge was very loud. Bathroom and shower were nice. Orlando did great with customer service.

  • 3/5 Alexander P. 9 months ago on Google
The rooms and amenities are updated and modern, with a very appealing aesthetic. The breakfast option is extremely overpriced - the dinner option is appropriately priced for the quality. Nothing special about the location. My room had a stained and dirty office chair, with minor workmanship flaws in the room.

  • 1/5 Diane S. 8 months ago on Google
AC was off at lobby check in, all doors open 100° bar closed until 5 pm, would only give 2 bottles of water to one Hilton honors, even though 2 were guests. Upon checking out, they didn't know how to divide the bill in half. Van service was good. Franchise owner needs to get with it and Hilton standards.

I have been Hilton member for a while, using this brand for business, and leisure, lately I have seen a significant drop in quality and service. My more consistent experience has been at Hampton branch, but this hotel really made me think twice, I will definitely try Marriott more. Typically I used to have a welcoming conversation, they would offer services, and provide a warm cookie with extra water bottles. No breakfast included, and the buffet was miserable, granola tasted old, coffee was burnt, all creamers were inflated, definitely old, no plates or utensils available. Deal breaker was The bed sheets were used, I requested an other set and feels like they got offended, because I definitely got other set of used bed sheets, smelled pretty bad. The only person that was a charm was the lady in charge of the breakfast service, who in fact acknowledged the issues and allowed my kids to take a piece of bread for free. It is bad when employees see the administration problems, but they can do so much, if and when they care, kudos to this lady, but shame on this hilton, they should take that name away.

At first, this hotel seems to be like your average Hilton. After check in, as you head down to the car park, you realize that this is no Hilton. This is the ghetto, with trash and beggers strewn about. We did not feel safe exiting our vehicle. Our quick walk to the doors of the hotel seemed like a lifetime. As we entered the elevator, there was graffiti etched into the walls (nice touch). Exiting the elevator on the floor where our room was located, was dark and seemed dirty. We entered our room and I instructed my children to not remove their shoes. The carpet was well worn, stained and the floor as a whole was unlevel. I did a quick sweep of the room with a Clorox wipe of the highly touched surfaces, it was disgusting. The door to the bathroom did not close properly and you could tell it hadn’t for some time. The stain on the bathroom wall was unsightly along with the stains on the curtains. The tub/shower had stains and did not work properly. The room was very small. We reserved a queen room with 2 beds and got a room that had double beds instead. At this point we were exhausted and didn’t feel like trying to move rooms. The air conditioner was loud, the beds were lumpy and the pillows were thin. We could hear our neighboring rooms conversations and other activities. In short, no, we will not be staying here again.

Our room was not ready at 3 and we not were offered our Bottle water as Hilton Honers Gold. Rooms were average, seemed small, musty smell. Lobby area was hot, parking and entrance not designed well. In pool area some kids knocked over the trash that had beer bottles which broke. Next day they’re still small broken glass in pool area. There were people in pool swimming who were not guests. No towels in pool area. Ants in room, oh my daughter had a nose blood in bed they charged us $80 for the sheets. Will never stay there again. Staff at front desk sat around on there cell phones.

The Room smelled liked mildew and the pillows were hard and not comfortable. The tv remote did not work properly nor did the thermostat. The parking is very limited unless you want to park in the garage which appeared to be unsafe. The staff did not greet you every time walking through the lobby. Breakfast was not free and for $15 I was not interested. Overall the hotel was run on a very minimal budget.

Breakfast took 30+ minutes to prepare omelet. Omelet wasn't fully cooked, nor were the ingredients inside. Digital key did not work. Had to walk from basement garage to front desk with all my belongings.

Beautiful hotel. Clean accommodations. Free internet I could never connect to because my phone was telling me it was an insecure network. Despite multiple attempts I gave up. There was a slight mix up with room assignments and one of us were given a room that was already occupied. The parking lot feels claustrophobic outside. I didn't try the underground parking lot. It might be better. It is very convenient to the airport.

  • 5/5 Suzanne W. 4 months ago on Google
Very close to the airport so a great option if you have an early flight. Dean, shuttle driver, was very nice. Alize, at the front desk, was accomodating and got me checked in quickly. Food options were good in restaurant, good service. Didn't look to see what was around me since I was there for an in-and-out stay. Hotel itself seems a little dated but clean and was exactly what I needed for a quick overnight stay. Shuttle picks up from rental car location between certain hours, shuttle to airport is 24 hours. Just know that the shuttle runs for several properties and can take 15-20 minutes to get to hotel so don't call for it at the last minute. Overall, a great stay!

  • 3/5 The Stranger With K. 6 months ago on Google
Overall a nice place however I expect something with the name Hilton on it to have more than single ply toilet paper, scraped paint and non- functioning air vent in the bathroom. For hotel visitors not familiar with new Mexican cooking, those are a must. Not to mention only one washer and dryer in their so-called laundry room. The staff was quite accommodating, aside from the fact that we had requested early check-in but had to wait a half hour late to get in.

  • 5/5 sara s. 2 years ago on Google
The staff here were helpful and the hotel was super clean. The pool was the issue as it was being maintained and the hot tub will no longer be open. So just FYI anybody who rents this hotel specifically for the hot tub, like I did, the hot tub is closed and will not be opening back up. Still a wonderful spot just don't expect a hot tub.

Pass on this one. I stay at Hilton properties quite a bit, but this one is below acceptable. Found out after our visit that the lack of A/C in the lobby wasn't a fluke. No air conditioning in lobby or hallways for at least a month! So you can try to eat breakfast in a hot stuffy downstairs. Place looks worn and not well maintained. We were lucky and our room A/C worked well, so it wasn't too bad sleeping. We checked out early though as it wasn't a good experience. Hallways are dim and dreary.

A comfortable hotel near the airport. It's a bit farther to walk to than the Sheraton, but still doable. Only complaint I had is that the HVAC unit is quite loud when it kicks on during the night, waking me up at least once.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE! This is one of the grossest hotels I've ever stayed in. It feels more like a motel. The floors are dirty, the room smells musty, the remote didn't work, you can hear all noise inside and outside. I am beyond grossed out by this place and seriously considering just leaving and finding another hotel

  • 1/5 Mario M. 10 months ago on Google
I've always stayed at hilton hotels and never had any issues until this one. I found ticks on my bed and I took them one to the front desk to show them proof. The response given was that they had the room professionally cleaned and nothing was found. That they didn't know where I was coming from or traveling from. That was very offensive.

My mother is staying here. Overall, it is a nice hotel, staff is lovely-- my mother requested i rate the Wi-Fi as poor and add in the lack of towel rack in hotel bathroom. To my knowledge she has no further complaints and I would recommend this location to others.

Except for the weather I was pleasantly surprised w/ this hotel. We usually stay around the corner n I mistook the Hilton for where we usually stay. But in am our car was free of snow, we were offered underground parking, which was great. We turned the corner n we're right at our favorite long term parking lot.

This hotel didn't used to be this dirty, I used to stay here regularly once a month for work trips, always staying 3-4 nights. That stops now. This hotel is under staffed due to the labor shortage nationwide (understandable), unfortunately management is no where to be found. I made sure the front desk knew I needed my room cleaned daily while checking in, so they could schedule housekeeping. This never happened. I can't tell if its this hotel that doesn't care about cleanliness or if its the city of Albuquerque. I didn't get the King Room because none were available or cleaned, even though I checked in on my mobile app and picked the room the day before. I took the double bed room without any fuss because you need chose your battles and that's not worth complaining over since its just me staying. The room I was place in was never vacuumed, long hairs from the previous guest on the floor and one of the beds. At breakfast the waitress poured me a glass of ice water with two floating fruit flies. Only one elevator was working. No sanitizer or disinfectant in the workout room. The water pressure is so poor you might as well take a bath, but you can't because the bathtub is so dirty and the water isn't hot enough. Trust me don't stay here, they charge around $150 a night, but think of this as an $98 a night quick stay and get the heck out of town. I love Hilton Garden Inn's usually because of the restaurant set up, but this one has a GM that can't lead by example. Ron should be here cleaning rooms or working the front desk or bussing tables, but instead the staff is on their phones with airpods in forgetting to take note of any customer requests.

Checkin was good no problem s parking was good 👍 and breakfast was made to order and great. Only problem was the room the chair was dirty everything else was clean and beds were comfortable. I will definitely come back to stay.

I failed to read reviews before checking in here. The price was great so we picked it for the night. I guess I expected more from a Hilton. The room was nice, but like another review said they were still cleaning rooms after 3pm. One of the blankets on our bed had hair on it and who know what. Eew! And yes the walls are paper thin. I could hear the volume button of my neighbors phone as he turned it down. I could hear them very well. The shower head had hard water stains on it as well as the tub floor. Aaaaaand there is a barking, howling dog down the hall?!! It's been a very long time since I have stayed at a Hilton and this is not what I thought a Hilton was like. I'm thankful for the price and a place to stay, as well as the friendly staff but a bit shocked at the quality. Covid did change a lot of things sooooo I am hoping here soon they will be back up to par.

We stayed here just one night because our flight into ABQ arrived at midnight, and we would not be able to pick up a rental car or check into our Airbnb until the following day. The hotel is fairly close to the airport and does have shuttle service, rooms were new and feature. Plenty of nice amenities, everything is clean, and (most importantly) the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly for tired travelers checking in late at night. After a wonderful night’s rest, we got up the next morning and were able to use the hotel provided shut off to take us to the rental car facility to pick up my car. Can’t say enough great things about the staff at this hill and we will definitely consider staying here again.

Comfortable hotel, great for before an early flight. Rooms a bit dated but nothing to cause a problem. My sole disappointment was that, when I turned off the air conditioning unit, it simply blew air back into the room — didn’t turn off. It’s VERY loud!
