Restaurant closed inside. The complimentary breakfast was coffee and tea. Lobby nice but room was awful. No drain cover in shower, paneling peeling off of wall in shower. Tiles loose in sink area. Floor in room and hallway is creaky and uneven. It is an extended stay hotel yet you have to pay for laundry, the only nice thing was there is a washer and dryer on each floor. The only door you can go in from the outside is the front lobby even though there is card access on the other exterior doors. I won't be staying here again.

The check in process was a breeze, and the welcoming and very sweet ladies at the front were great when we checked in at 3am. Most people aren't in the mood at that hour, but they were very helpful and delayed our checkout time for us with no extra fees. (Very much appreciated!) The rooms were bigger than most hotel rooms, very clean, and the beds were super comfy. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Excellent service and friendly staff. The breakfast is amazing. Everything was great, but the styling of the rooms are for a particular preference. The rooms have bright white florescent lighting and partial tiling. It felt like a hospital setting and I found it difficult to relax.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would was not happy with the dirty room and flashing lights while trying to sleep the owners response was we should have woken my baby up and asked to be moved rooms trash all ober the hallway and then after I told them I had problems with my stay offered a $40 credit also not to mention all the drunks and homeless that are hanging around definitely not worth $200 a night this place is trash and the customer service is worse. Also pool was freezing and the hot tub was broken as well as the pancake cooker for breakfast. Disappointed all the way around. Do not recommend!

This is a nice property. My room and bathroom were both clean. They could stand to rotate newer and bigger towels into the room. There is a set of computers with a printer. In the ground floor, they have a small exercise room. I will stay here again when in ABQ.

I came with my family, 3 kids, two under 2. I started bringing our luggage inside and on the second round upstairs to our room. I hear one of the front desk receptionists mumble under her breath if I needed help. I didn't realize they had luggage carts until afterward, and they never offered as I made 4 to 6 trips back and forth.( 2) The AC went out on our 3rd day it took forever for maintenance to show, and when he did it took longer than expected. Once he said he was done, he asked that we just give it a few minutes, and it would cool back off. It never did. We had to change rooms (finally got a damn cart), and at the end of the day, we were offered a 15 dollar voucher from a manager that wasn't even available. We obviously said that wasn't a fair exchange and then was offered a 200 dollar credit. We never got it. Worst hotel experience, staff definitely didn't help. I see you responded to my post because I didn't book the room, but you can clearly see my WIFES post who did.Why haven't you responded to hers? Maybe because she booked the room, and you would have to back up what you just claimed instead, just like the room... You're a waste of my time. Have a great day.

The hotel was really good since our room was larger than normal. The floors were clean to my surprise because usually the floors are very dirty and you have to walk with shoes in the room. Guests are friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. The bathing supplies were also really good and they were actually big instead of small tubes which you don't know what they put in them. Really good hotel perfect for 1 night 5 stars for everything!

Travelers beware! The hotel itself was good enough for 1 night. When we got to the hotel there was a hobo stealing water out of one of the outside spigots. The room was not cleaned very well however. The bathtub still had dirt marks inside it, Not sure if it was a stain. The floor by the front door looked like it hadn't been mopped. The reason for the low star rating is that our cargo bag on top of our car got stolen and the driver side passenger door got scratched. We should have known the area wasn't the best when we drove up on a side street that looked like warehouses and empty lots.

I typically have had great experiences at Holiday Inn express, and that this was the first one where not only did we have to move rooms when the AC went out in our room but we also were not given the points the Frontdesk promised us on our IHG loyalty account for the enormous inconvenience this caused since we had our 3 young kids with us. The picture I included is of the thermostat in our room. Two hours after Maintenance โ€˜fixed itโ€™ after working on it for an hour.

While on our 2 week vacation we traveled with our ten pound Toy Dachshund and we were looking forward to staying at Holiday Inn Express as we had in the past without our pet. Considering we paid a nonrefundable pet deposit, we expected the rooms to be as nice as the other rooms that we had stayed in, in the past. But unfortunately we were very disappointed with the pet room accommodations. The room was dirty, had an odor and was very worn! We felt as if we were being downgraded because we had a pet. If you have a pet beware! Just because you pay a non-refundable pet deposit it doesnโ€™t mean that your room will be the same as a non-pet room. Based on our experience it appears that the non-refundable pet deposits are not being used by the hotel to actually deep clean or maintain their pet rooms.

Staff were very nice and helpful(I think that is what I was told). The location was also a plus because it was easy getting into the hotel and parking, and it was easy getting out of the hotel and getting out of parking without trouble. All in all, 4 stars all around.

The breakfast is better than most, if maybe a bit slow on replenishment. Small gym/lap pool ideally located. Friendly, helpful staff -- couple negs: no airport shuttle, no on-site security (another guest's vehicle was vandalized/burglarized), housekeeping/rm service thoroughness is hit and miss (e.g. on one occasion reg coffee was replenished w/decaf coffee!).

Called customer service yesterday. Had them call the hotel to confirm a booking for one of my staff members and that a credit card authorization form was on file and there wouldn't be any issues. They told me she was set and there wouldn't be a problem. My staff member showed up after a 10 hour drive and was denied a room stating it could be fraudulent. I then had to book her a room elsewhere. Front desk girl was rude and not professional at all. Don't stay here.

The one thing that's especially great about Holiday Inn Express & Suites are that their rooms are almost identical across every property, as are the breakfast offerings. I always know exactly what I'm getting! The other thing that's wonderful about this property are the staff! Monica, Jennifer, and Alfred were at the front desk planning the day when I tried to check in early. I had an early flight and had arrived just before noon, well before check-in time. But they were gracious and more than willing to help me out so I could get my stuff situated before heading out to explore!

Stayed in the 2 room suite for one night for the balloon fiesta- thank goodness because I could not have made it another night. The room reeked of cigarette smoke - even the bedding it was almost nauseating- but what was worse was the bed. I really think the sidewalk outside would have been more comfortable- got zero sleep. For a $300 a night plus tax room I expected a good night sleep at least.

Beautiful and clean rooms, nice little gym, excellent pool and hot tub, would recommend for anyone traveling. Great breakfast, great service, coffee always available, and the lobby was very clean and very welcoming

Stayed here for 1 night on a long road trip, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was perfect, bed was super comfortable, the breakfast spread was awesome and filling especially the cinnamon rolls! My only con was the WiFi doesn't really connect to my Nintendo switch, I had to use my hotspot. It worked well on my other devices and was plenty fast. Overall awesome hotel and will definitely stay again!

Hotel is very understaffed. The breakfast took over an hour to get to our table and there was only one person serving all of the tables. Iโ€™m still here at the table. Itโ€™s looking like breakfast will end up being a one and a half hour event. Barely any time to get ready for my flight now. On a separate note, there was no regular coffee in our room and the guy at the front desk had no way to bring it to our room. Seems like an employee shortage and the burden falls on the guests.

They don't take cash...for anything. The hotel was clean. Love the Bunn auto coffee makers and pancake machine. There were paper bags if you wanted to pack some snacks. Irritating to run my card for a bottle of water though. Typical horses moved into the room above me, trotting around for hours. Wish I could figure out how they fit a riding arena in their luggage. Cute desk lamp with usb slots.

Bed was super comfortable! Stayed one night before a flight and loved the bed. Super comfortable with quality linens and pillows as well. Very clean, nice customer service and good free breakfast.

Location is convenient near the airport. Service was good and prompt. Breakfast had good variety. The room was very loud. Footsteps from the floor above, road traffic, and heater were noisy all night. Beds were comfortable. In all, adequate lodging but not a place I'd want to stay again.

Always clean and staff is always polite and professional; in my opinion this facility is the best of Holiday Inns in Albuquerque because of the staff. Highly recommend this Holiday Inn

We only stay in IHG hotels and mostly HIE, and travel often. This hotel was new, but average. What set it apart (in a bad way) was our room had no coffee maker or coffee/tea supplies! This is never the case elsewhere post Covid. I use it to heat water for my tea which takes time to prepare (which is why I prefer it in the room instead of downstairs). We were on the top floor next to the main road and it was noisy from traffic all night.

Thank you for your hospitality! Excellent customer service! Orange Lake needs a lot of help in this department! We will probably stay here even longer next time.

Okay for a 3-star hotel but a bit sterile. Coffee makers in rooms are gone in favor of a single grind and brew machine in the lobby, but at over a minute per cup that's not good with a morning line of people.

Clean rooms, quiet hotel (especially for being close to the airport), impressive breakfast (seriously, better than most 3-star hotels), and friendly staff. Loads of parking patrolled nightly. For people who like dark rooms, be prepared for another TV with an ever-glowing red light (setting not exposed so throw a towel over the TV) and a glowing nightstand clock (you can unplug it though...or use another towel). I only wish they had a shuttle service to the airport, why be an airport hotel if there's no convenient way of either entering/leaving the airport? Taxi runs $15.

We got a great price. The room was clean and the amenities are great. We went for a swim and enjoyed the jacuzzi. We stayed on the 1st floor and it was quite. We would stay here again.

The lady was super nice at the desk. Gave us a great rate. Very comfortable beds and clean room. Pancake machine, eggs, bacon, etc for breakfast. Great stay.
