Sunday Brunch staff was very attentive to dietary needs and incredibly hilarious when talking about my current restrictions because of digestion issues. Yep, I totally agree with the server who said my life sucks right now because I can't have beef, only poultry, and fish. I loved his honest response and reaction. You were not wrong Sir. Lol- The four stars are only because of my sticker shock. I didn't realize Sunday was a bit more spendy, but it did seem that the staff was more attentive than a previous visit on a weekday.

Will never go here again. We were given a 30 minute wait for a table which turned into a 40 minute wait; this wasn’t a really big issue since we sat at the bar and had drinks while we waited. While waiting at the bar we noticed that it was warmer than usual, and after being seated at our table the temperature near the salad bar was still high. When I asked our server why the it was hot she just ignored me. I can only assume the AC was broken. We asked our server to bring us waters to drink and it took nearly another half hour to get our waters. It’s a possibility the server may have been confused because some of us had brought our drinks from the bar. We had already started eating before getting water. This point this is when the entertainment really started. A lady from the sidewalk passing by started yelling and screaming at a table closest to the glass windows (we couldn’t hear a thing). The lady kept this up for a good fifteen minutes, all while taking taking bites out of her styrofoam cup. Eventually our server tried to go tell the lady to go away, which didn’t work, then the head manager became involved which only seemed to agitate the screaming lady. The yelling lady began to speed walk in a figure eight motion for about thirty times yelling, before eventually leaving. The meat was actually very good, the salad I made myself, from the salad bar, not so much because it was warm. Then comes the part for desert. Someone from our party had a birthday and had signed up for the Tucanos birthday gift, which included either a desert or a free lunch. The person from our party decided to get the ice cream. We gave our server the phone number to redeem the ice cream and waited, and waited, and waited. And never got the ice cream. We just switch our little indicator to green again and waited for the grilled pineapple instead. The server eventually came back and asked if we were ready for the check, being that we were no longer in the mood for desert we said yes. We had four people in our party and only three people ate. We let the server know that since we didn’t get the ice cream we wanted to redeem the birthday meal instead. She came back with the check and the check STILL had a charge for four meals. I told her to fix this since one person only had a beer from the bar and the the other person was redeeming her birthday meal. When she came back the last time there was still a charge for three meals. When I told her to what happened to the free meal. The server responded with the card has already been charged and cannot be changed. At this point I just wanted to get out, especially with the AC not working. I’ll attach a picture of my receipt to show I still gave a $20 tip. And at no point did I act like a Karen. What I can say, is I’ll never eat here again. I hope this restaurant runs out of business.

To be honest with you, I was skeptical about coming here and that’s because I’m not big on eating meat and I heard that it is non stop as long as your marker is flipped up on the green side (green for go). This is a clever way to efficiently serve guests and alert staff 👍❣️ I thought most of the meat was good and I skipped out on pork but if you like it then I’m sure you’ll love it here! One of the kitchen attendants was being the glove officer so make sure you wear them at the buffet line. I tried several warm and cold dishes such as salad, fruit, stews, fried banana, and more ! It was mostly yummy and I recommend this to anyone who is trying Brazilian food for the first time! Per my husband, he wants to come back! I’m giving 5 stars because of the variety of meats and seafood including salmon also the bottoms lemonade that’s only $5🤫 also, you change the flavors! Lastly, the staff was incredibly sweet and even wished my daughter happy birthday because she had on a tiara 😊😍🥰😘⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I made reservations for 10 people for my girlfriends birthday since her family is in town and they still had us wait for a table. Then we were seated by a restroom. Then they took 25 minutes before we got one piece of meat. The tongs to get the salad bar were small and some were lying in the food as if nobody was sanitizing and checking them. The service wasn’t the friendliest. My girlfriend spilled her pineapple drink because the pineapple was wobbly and the server didn’t believe us. The manager came and saw the wet napkins and kindly brought a new drink. I don’t think I’ll come back. I brought my mom here for her bday, I had my bday dinner here and it has just progressively gotten worse.

The shrimp was excellent but overall presentation was poor. I understand that the shrimp takes time but the lemons still had PLU stickers on them after they were prepped… let alone when they were served. This is a rookie mistake I’d expect from a student on his first day and any chef I’ve worked with would have lost their mind if a plate like this went out. The mint in the mojito was somewhat bruised but overall, not bad… just not the freshest. Just watch out they don’t charge you for more than you buy on the receipt because they tried charging me $20 extra for a buffet at the end when I only had 2 plates of shrimp. They corrected it but I’m sure this may be happening to other people so please check your receipts.

This place has gone down hill. This was our anniversary/birthday go to. Recently the food quality is poor. We were there for 2 hours and those 2 hours we were served a handful of times. Like every 15 min it seemed like. I remember when the servers would come one after another. We get tired from waiting and just want to go home. It sucks that we pay over $100 for a not so great meal. Not to mention we ordered the Brazilian lemonade in a gallon and there were Roaches in it!!! I wish they change whatever is going on.

I went to Tucanos for my birthday. I hadn't been in years, and it seemed like a fun birthday celebration to me. My wife and I enjoyed the salad celebration, and the endless delivery of Brazilian BBQ meats and vegetables. I can't even remember all the different types of meat. There were bacon-wrapped turkey and bacon wrapped beef, and roasted chicken, and at least five different cuts of roasted beef. There was pork loin, and there were chicken hearts, and fried fish. For vegetables there was the salad bar, and the salad bar also has a hot section. Where there are mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and soups like lobster bisque. The salad bar itself is pretty fantastic. It's shaped like a triangle. There is a side that has cold salad fixings. So, mixed lettuce, spinach, olives, tomatoes, croutons, salad dressing, all the stuff for a regular chilled mixed salad. And then, there is a side that has things like prepared salads, like macaroni salad, or in a pasta salad, or seafood salad, or crab salad or whatever. There are tons of these kinds of salads that are mixed and ready to put on your plate. And finally, there is the hot foods side of the triangle. I think I described that above. After dinner, if you have any room left at all, they have a dessert tray that they can bring and you can pick your dessert. I decided on creme brulee! It was delicious. It was very well prepared and served with every laid crust of sugar and dollops of whipped cream. What a treat!

The restaurant was a little loud. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. Food was tasty There is no reason to go home hungry. The location is in a not so friendly area of town so plan your trip to leave by dark. Seating for 2 up to large groups.

For the price it not worth it any more. My family use to love going here but after tonight dont think we will return. Meat service droping the sharpener for knife then just picked it up and sharpened it from the floor. Also meat service puting there fingers all over there knifes then went and cuting meat for everybody. To top it off we told one of the managers he got like mad with us. They service us the core of the pineapple and raw meat. Just very bad experience 👎 😕.

Had a wonderful meal and dessert! I enjoyed the fare as it was brought around and ate my fill. The salad bar was fresh and crisp, the fruit was delicious, and the meats were extraordinary! There was salmon, brisket, steak, pork, beef in so many varieties, veggies, and grilled pineapple! Definitely be sure to come in hungry. I got an awesome drink in a pineapple, a real pineapple! The chocolate cake was decadent!

Celebrated our anniversary yesterday, the food and service was beyond spectacular. Our server, Elica was awesome. She made sure everything was perfect for our special day. I would like to think the GM for stopping by our table a couple of times, making sure everything was to our liking. Everyone was very attentive, not only to us but the entire restaurant. If you're looking for great food and attentive service I suggest you have lunch or dinner here. Thank you once again Tucanos.

This is a new and improved Tucanos. The new renovation must have put a spark back into this place. Food was great. It was always hot. Salad bar was tasty. The service was top notch. The meat server Manny was above and beyond. Made us feel welcomed.

Food was great. Delicious meats!! Reason I gave a four star was because service was a little slow during lunch time. That had two servers working who were working their butts off. However, you could go 5-10 mins without a server coming by with another offering of meat!

We very much enjoyed our birthday visit. Eric, our server, was just fantastic. The food was so abundant, flavorful, and almost overwhelming. Savanah, our main meat server, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we could possibly want. Each dish had so much flavor and unique qualities, and we had to taste every bit. I will have to pace myself better next visit and stay longer to enjoy just a small bit of each item. We very much recommend going and making sure you have room for everything they have to offer, including their well balanced cocktails and wine choices. Enjoy!

1)A/C not working at all 2)Bar had water it looks like they didn't change the ice and it melted 3)Service was good, they guys that were serving meats need more training they were reaching over the table several times. 4) food from bar was warm even the food that shouldn't been warm was warm( shrimp, sushi, part of the salad bar) 5) food was hit or miss but it did had flavor to a point, some of the food was cold that should been hot. 6) We still see the flies around even before the place was remodeled.

Went as a large party, made reservations, received confirmation of said reservation shower they were not prepared for us upon arrival, had no clue they were expecting a party of 20. Therefore service was quite lacking. The servers started at the same side of table each round. So one side got lots of beef and pork while the other side got lots of chicken and veggies. What I was able to taste was quite good. The salad bar was beautiful and fresh. Do plan on trying it again, with a smaller group.

My family went to Tucanos last night. This is the first time going back since the pandemic. The food was good but unfortunately the service was not. The salad bar area was dirty and had not been replenished when I was going through it. The restroom was horrible. We were waiting to order dessert but instead a disinterested server came with the bill and we had to let them know we wanted dessert. Lastly, I had to bus our own table when another table was being cleaned because no one ever came by. I was impressed for the most part with the gentlemen who were serving the meat, pineapple, etc.

The restaurant is not bad . However, by far is not a Brazilian Barbecue . The meat is not good at all . Please get a Brazilian to work with the meat urgently . Starting with the knifes the guys damage the meat trying to cut to put in your plate . You can do better . I am sorry, but my review is to try to improve. Good Luck !

Very delicious selection of a variety of juicy meats. Salad bar, fresh & well put together. Customer service is fair. Prices, equivalent to area of the "Downtown" area. Parking is somewhat far, & remember to get stamp to waive parking fee. Could use more history of Brazilian theme. Beautiful high ceilings. Area could use more friendly environment output to community.

It was a great experience. Our server I forgot his name. Younger guy with longer blonde hair/also bartender. Was really funny and helpful in every way. Employees like that can go unsung and fall through the cracks when not recognized. Definitely went above and beyond

Went over a year ago for a birthday and went again last night. Since then they have remodeled and total revamped everything. Atmosphere and service was great. Josh was our server and they’re lucky to have him. He is amazing! Highly recommend again!

Tucanos NEVER disappoints, if it's our favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. It was my husbands birthday and I reserved us a spot ahead of time. I'm really glad I did because they were only accepting people with a reservation. So fun to eat here, you put your wooden idol to green to eat and red to stop. Stop and go as many times as you want. Servers are ALWAYS great. It is an expensive restaurant but the quality of food and the amount of food you get is ALOT. Our favorites are the brown sugar pineapple, chicken hearts and the bacon wrapped steak. They being the food around on skewers and you tell them how much you want, it's on a rotation as to when they bring items out. Thank you again for another great experience. The Brazilian limeade is the best drink they have. A must have experience located across from the bus depot downtown.

I LOVE this place. The food is absolutely exceptional. Especially the brisket and baked pineapple, YUM! The salad bar has a lot more of a variety to choose from than other places with one. I dont go to Albuquerque very often but when I do, this is my place to go. I'd say my only complaint is that when I ordered the Amazon drink, they served it FINALLY at the end of lunch when I was already full from everything else. Plus they didn't put the raspberry swirl which was disappointing cause there's a difference in taste without it. They apologized for the wait but it's unfortunate I couldn't finish it due to being full.

First time here and it was incredible. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. The way they serve the meat dishes is so cool. The buffet style side dishes is easy and designed perfectly. The system to request more meat dishes is fun and simple. My favorite dish is the grilled pineapple. Every hit of it was flavorful and juicy. All the meat is cooked well and the top sirloin was amazing. The lobster risotto was delicious and the bacon in it really compliments the lobster. I will definitely be back to experience more.

The food was okay, I enjoyed the drink I had the most. It was a Brazilian sunrise I believe. There were a lot of flies, not enough AC, I started sweating. I went to the restroom and it was really gross. I don't think the price is worth the service, this place is ran by teenagers. The meat was not tender and a bit chewy.

Rustic plate of shredded Brazilian bbq brisket seasoned to perfection, juicy and perfect to make a couple sliders w the fluffy dinner rolls. Very unique flavors, a delicious addition to my brisket plate reviews. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I picked the delicious pasta salad & creamy mashed potatoes as my sides, they went well with the meat. Very refreshing. So good. The staff is super friendly. The food is really good. Once I'm a while one of the meats will be too fatty or over cooked but for the most part it's great. The salad/food bar is always a hit. It's not very big but has a great variety.

Great food, staff was great to my family, and I. Very clean! The staff was prompt considering how busy they were. We made reservations, I suggest you do the same or you could wait a while. This place dose tip pooling! The management i spoke with told me, that if I tell the wait staff the tip is for my waiter, and only my waiter it should go to them only. Sorry, I tip based on service, my waiter was good to me. He definitely earned the tip I left for him, and him only.
