Definitely worth the time to figure out where to park, etc. It was hard to find where it was, but I kept asking people and finally found it. You enter in the botanical gardens ask people and they will direct you to the bulgarium. I purchased my ticket and the ticket actually gets you in the aquarium and botanical gardens as well as the bulgarium. It was a great deal and a fun time.

It was very interesting... I'm totally creeped out by bugs, but it was informative.

The place is small, but it's still really nice. It is a part of botanic garden and it does not require any extra fees.

This is a small attraction inside the Albuquerque bio park. They have a healthy collection of interesting bugs and my 4 year old daughter always want to do a walk though. We only spend about 15 to 20 minutes in here, but last time we went a little longer because a worker was letting kids hold and pet giant cockroaches and our daughter wanted to participate.

Super fun for the kids and me! My 12 year old traced the leafcutter ants all the way back to their base! So fun! Most of the displays where amazing!

Overly packed just like the aquarium next door. I dont know why they ask to buy a tine slot online if the places are going to be that packed. There were lines just to get to see the displays. It is very cute and has a good selection of animals.

This place is an incredible find, tucked away in the middle of Albuquerque's beautiful Botanic Garden. One of, if not the best insect exhibits I've ever visited and a wonderful surprise. Big shout-out to the awesome staff here too.

Interesting place. Better than when it was located in the zoo. Still bent from paying $12 for two waters. A place to take your kids? Only if you plan to drop a C note. Thanks Mayor Keller.

Not sure what's going on but a lot of the exhibits were closed down and it doesn't look like they have staff to keep up with the maintenance. But usually this is a good place.

My daughter and I loved this piece of the biopark. A butterfly landed on our 5y/o's hand and flew off, creating quite a magical moment for her. There was also a expert there who was showing off a ladybug larvae. Super cool.

This was cool to check out! The kids freaked out a bit because we don't like bugs in our house, lol. They were having a demonstration while we were there, but there were too many people standing in the way for the lids to get up to the front. I think if your kids love bugs, they will definitely enjoy this!

A highlight of my recent trip to Albuquerque. Although it's not particularly large, the insects on display are fascinating.

Such a fun and educational trip for our kids. Beautiful day to visit as well. Parking is ample and the crowds weren't large.

I love this place. It's a little hidden gem at the aquarium/botanic gardens. My favorite parts are the ants crawling over head and the dark night area. If you do not like bugs or big roaches this is a place to safely see them and learn.

There is so much here to do for old, young and in between. It is a really good deal, we could have stayed all day. Walk across the street for even more dining options.

Small but interesting bugs & the butterfly area outside has a box where you can see all the stages from caterpillar to butterfly. The model trains area is a favorite for my kiddo & the botanical gardens are beautiful. The kids fantasy garden area needs upkeep but still fun to wall through.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a nicely structured exhibit area added to the pleasure of encountering a number of unusual specimens. In addition to tarantulas and brightly-colored beetles, the large leaf eaters and walking sticks were a real attraction for us. The giant centipede certainly got our attention!
