A really lovely park that the whole family (including your dogs) can enjoy. There are 3 small ponds and a lot of people like to fish here. I know they keep the ponds stocked and at least one of them is "catch and release". There is a great walkway around the park and ponds with lots of nice art installations along the way. There are also picnic tables as well as a children's playground. If you take a short walk south you'll find yourself at the Rio Grande. There is a nice sandy walking trail running parallel to the river that goes for quite a ways. Just a little further off from the river and walking trail there is a paved path that a lot of folks like to ride their bikes on. There are a ton of ducks and geese walking around, and swimming in, the ponds. And this brings up my only issue with the place and it's not the park's fault or the people that maintain it. It's clueless visitors' fault. Although there is a large sign that you can't miss at the pond area with the majority of ducks and geese that clearly tells people not to feed the ducks and geese bread and explains how it is not at all good for them....there are people who will not listen or don't care feeding the birds pieces of bread just as fast as they can. On my last visit a couple of days ago on the first truly beautiful day of early spring, people throwing multiple loaves of bread at the ducks got under my skin a bit but there's really nothing I could do. They already have put a huge sign up. Maybe if there was some type of park ranger or somebody with authority reprimanding people then maybe this issue could be put to a stop. Anyway, the park is lovely and I highly recommend. I look forward to returning when it's warmer weather and everything is green and the trees have leaves. Y'all should check it out!

Great place to wander around and feed the ducks. We took peas and corn with us for them and they really seemed to enjoy it. Remember, bread is not healthy for ducks!

I love taking my kids to feed the ducks. They get to play on a fun playground. There is also fishing and paddle boats. If your looking for a fun inexpensive day trip this is the place to go. There a lot of tables and benches in the shade to enjoy nature. We always have a blast!

This is a very nice area and little park. I was not sure what to expect but I will definitely come back when I have more time. I would love to go fishing at their catch and release lake they have. The geese and duck pond is also very unique and maybe people are out here soaking in the rays and watching them do their thing. There is also a restaurant here but I didn’t go. Maybe I will when I come again.

First time fishing in years, the lake was clean. Trout fishing was good with red label salmon eggs. I just wish someone would clean the portapotty, I had to leave early because, there was no way I was using it.

Picturesque park space, lush greenery, plenty of shade and areas to stop and rest. Saw plenty of local wildlife and waterfowl at the ponds. Perfect place for an early morning stroll. One of Albuquerque's great public amenities.

I am not harmful. I've been harmed. I grew up here. Help God welcome me. Look intensely for Jesus in me. He IS in here. I've always known My Father. Please do not be afraid of me. I long for what you all have. Trees, gardens. Can we meet and discuss furthering the Kingdom of Jesus Christ?

As a local, going to the bosque is one of our favorite things to do. I love walking in the dirt trails south of Tingley Beach and walking through TB. I turn on my bird sound app (Merlin) to see what birds are there. Around March, you'll spot porcupines sleeping high up in the cottonwood trees. They look like birds' nests, but if you look closely, you'll see they are actually porcupines.

Very nice area. Scenic, clean, and well-maintained. The flowering plants attract tons of butterflies, bumblebees, and hummingbirds. There was even a friendly swarm of ducks that marched right up to me, sang a chorus of quacks, then waddled off again. And the security was friendly and helpful when a Q-Anon lady started harassing me out of nowhere. They even have Wi-Fi and a refreshment stand that sells Dippin Dots. My only slight is that the number of comfortable shady spots are limited during the heat of the day, but they have a nice if small that suffices. Also their drinking fountains and bottle filler need some servicing.

Nice place for kids. Okay fishing for adults. Ponds needs to be cleaned out, would be more pleasurable for the ducks and fish that live in it.

Nice respite from the crowds with an up close experience and view of the Rio Grande which is not so grande. Walking paths, bike paths (be careful crossing--high speed biking) fishing pond, and duck/geese are prominent.

Albuquerque does not have many water features, so, Tingley beach is much appreciated. It's a good place for a picnic on a warm day. Bring some extra bread for the children to feed the ducks and geese with. Take a micro train ride or a walk along the Bosque trail.

Great place to go walking, running and biking. It’s not heavily trafficked. Plenty of room and space. Better to get out in the morning while the weather is nice.

Nice place to come to and feed the ducks. There are fishing ponds located here as well. One of the ponds is specifically for, I believe, 12 and under. At one time, here in New Mexico, you didn't need a fishing license for 10 and under (you may want to look that up for yourself). The public restrooms were locked, so be ready for that. There are some walking trails that go through the bosque right next to the ponds. APD has done a good job of keeping the homeless from camping in the area.

Took my grandchildren here to enjoy a walk around this little beach. It always fun to see and feed the ducks. Before covid you could purchase food to give the duck, the self serve coin machines have now been removed. I was sad to see the little restaurant didn't survive covid either. Also, the paddle boats one could rent t to ride out onto the water of the beach were also gone, along with the rental bikes not being available. The train that use to travel between the zoo and the biological park is no longer running. I loved seeing and waiving to the vacationers and locals riding on the train as the volunteer engineers would toot the horn while traveling thru Tingley Beach. The park still offers fishing, various exercise areas, a playground, picnic tables, and various shaded sitting benches. I still managed to enjoy our picnic time with my grandkids. My next trip I'll bring along my own feed store duck and fish food to allow my grandkids to have more interaction with the beautiful wildlife residing at the Beach.

Nice slice of nature to enjoy in Albuquerque. The facilities are great, and many people were enjoying them. The danger is people not cleaning up after themselves. One goose had fishing line tangled tight around their leg. We found a state game warden and he said it happens all the time. So nice to place to enjoy the bosque, but please clean up after yourself.

Great spot in the heart of Albuquerque! Water to look at, lots of spots to go fishing, and ducks are always hanging out! There is plenty of walking space (or biking trails). Just a great park, that's both family friendly, yet peaceful. There are some interesting things to explore while you are there, and the tree trunk art decor is fun, too. Weekends get busy, so expect some parking issues.

Such a nice place to hang out for a while. Have a picnic, do the agility course, fish, watch the ducks and geese, stroll down to the river through the Bosque, run till you can't anymore on the trails along the river. Pleasant whether alone or with the family.

I went to this park expecting a beach in the middle of the desert lol. But I was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful family friendly park full of ducks. There is a beautiful water feature, a fishing area, and a cute park area for the kids. We stayed for a while feeding the ducks that walk up to you and eat directly from your hand. This was a awesome experience. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by to feed the ducks.

Great place to chill, make sure not too feed the ducks bread as it is not good for them but always see people do it anyways. Great trails too. Can't wait for whatever used to be at the train station to open back up too

I love coming here to fish. However, they have downgraded on stocking the catch and release, I hope someone can come up with a plan to get the catching release back to how it used to be.
