Amazing place. You'd think a place like this would be expensive but it wasn't. For our appetizer we had the calimari, not joke these were the best calimaris we've ever had. It packed a lot of flavor and it wasn't overly battered before frying it seemed. For my entree I had the salmon, wasn't dry like other places but juicy. The sweet cucumbers were amazing as well. For dessert, we had the silk chocolate cake, which came with a free side of gelato of your choice of flavor. Our server was very attentive. The best part was that our food came out within 5-7 minutes of ordering. Will definitely come back.

For a 17 dollar meal, I got dry, tough orange chicken and lumpy rice. I usually love the food here, best orange chicken I've ever had, so this is quite saddening.

Great place to taste different plates in a really cool environment!! The food was delicious, really tasty. Moreover, the service was really nice and caring. In their menu they have vegeterian and gluten-free options.

Very good food. On the higher side of prices, but they do have options for small and large portions which was nice. The shrimp Cesar salad was delicious, and they had lots of ginger in it. The coconut soup was similarly flavored to a Thai lemongrass coconut soup, and the shaking beef was good as well. The star of the show was dessert, and was gone before I remembered to take pictures, the chocolate cake and espresso gelato.

Very good tom yum soup. The steak and frites was amazing. The rice salmon was good but not great, so 4 stars.

The food is ok. Just for the price I expect more. It's never bad though. Service has always been wonderful. The interior is unique and unlike other restaurants pretty dark on the inside.

Jinja is definitely one of our favorite restaurants and usually I would give it 5 stars, however I was really disappointed with the Green Curry. It was just chicken and veggies sitting on top of a very light curry sauce. I guess I'm comparing it to a green curry plate we had in Cali this past summer, and unfortunately, it didn't even come close to their rich abundant sauce. Oh well, I'll stick to the other dishes I enjoy.

Yummy, I had the chicken teriyaki large. Nice waiter, good service. A tad on the pricy side. 2 people, your probably looking over 50 dollars. Nice place. No reason I wouldn't go back.

Hi all! We come here for lunch 2-3 times a week. The food is great, but in all honesty we come for the staff. Stephanie always greets us with a warm smile at the front door. We usually sit at the bar where we have the best service from Kathy and Jeff. Both are friendly and amazingly efficient. This staff truly make my week!

Jinja Bistro's are always top notch when it comes to the plates and presentation. Food is always made to perfection. The Halibut dish was delicious. The. Lettuce wraps and sauce are a perfect fresh appetizer as well as the most tasty coconut shrimp soup. The Mojito is a blast of fresh mint and lime. The Hibiscus tea is refreshing. The difference between this Jinja's and others was the service. Philip was great , accommodating but not over bearing. Shout out to the manager making sure we were taken care of. If it's Asian cuisine you're craving i suggest this Jinja's.

Delicious food and drinks! That Bloody Mary was the best I’ve had with the chili infusion and local vodka. The avocado for perfectly fried and the mint sauce was so unique and flavorful too. The Pad Thai was not traditional, per se, but it was also very flavorful, balanced and all around delicious, as was the curry! We had excellent service and the atmosphere was really nice. We’ll be back again for sure when we visit the area again!

Super friendly staff! Waiter was so nice and totally on it. The food was excellent. We ordered the avocado tempura and the sauce was this cilantro mint stuff I could have eaten with everything. The steak and rice was cooked perfectly. Hibiscus teas were refreshing. Lovely quiet dinner.

Stopped for dinner and had an amazing evening. Dom, our server, was on it. Food and drinks were delicious. Ahi tuna tempura opened dinner exquisitely. You must try this opener. Sesame chicken was perfectly prepared. Lots of flavor, nothing overpowering. I was seated immediately and the atmosphere was lively but polite. This is a hidden gem on the Eastside. You need to try Jinja.

I love the atmosphere at Jinja, but their recipes always seems too salty for my taste. I did enjoy the ribs and dessert.

Be aware that the food here is is very bland expect for the bone in wings and sorbet which were the only exception. Even the kids meals was so bland that my toddler did not like it. The sauce are too acidic and not flavorful. The fried rice was soggy and honestly it felt like it was cooked by an inexperience cooked. I would not recommend this place. The vibe was welcoming and staff are very attentive. There are psychological studies in how dim lights help people be more comfortable and relaxed than in bright restaurants. However, I am more of a person that likes moderate lightening and I felt very uncomfortable since I felt dissociated from reality.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here with family- great, dimly-lit ambiance, a pretty amazing menu (everything looked great!!), and solid (if not mindblowing) food. Great drinks, too!

What a wonderful restaurant! It’s an Asian infusion menu that is wonderfully diverse! We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken almost immediately. The waiter, who happened to be the bartender as well, was attentive, friendly and helpful. We started with appetizers; ahi tuna roll and spring rolls that was served with 2 dipping sauces. We then ordered the main course, both of which did not take long to come out. It definitely is a great place and a must try!

The food was just okay and our service wasn't the best. Our waitress took forever to come by our table. We got the orange peel chicken and the chicken pad thai. We did however like the atmosphere.

Went to Jinja for dinner. Had a cocktail ( blackberry mojito ), an appetizer ( tempura ), and an entree ( Singapore noodles ). Everything was delicious. The cocktail was the perfect combination of tart and sweet. The appetizer was crispy and the dipping sauce that it came with was tasty! My noodles had a little spice and a lot of flavor. The ambiance was perfect and the service was spot on. Highly recommend!

Went for Friday happy hour. Hubby had Gen Tso's chicken and I had Thai curry shrimp with lime and jasmine rice. We loved every bite! Fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. I didn't find the prices too hefty considering this area is fairly pricey on the whole. Loved the atmosphere, did not mind the pillows and will definitely be returning soon!!

Great place! Came for Happy Hour on a Friday. Happy Hour goes until 7:00 PM with $2 off small sized appetizers, $3 off mixed drinks 🍹 or 🍷 wine. $1 off beer 🍺. Food was good. Service was great. We recommend coming here! We will be coming here more often with the happy hour specials and great service!
