Best falafel I’ve had in town. Crispy and light. Aesthetically pleasing with the Zia hummus. I’m a suckler for some Babaganoush, it was delicious. Lentil soup wasn’t exceptionally creamy, benefited tremendously from the lemon and pita chips. The worst part of the meal was the pita bread which didn’t seem fresh. The portions were sizable but there are other places like this in town that you get more food for less. The service was great though and with the amount of vegan options they have available, I’d go back.

What a treat! Delicious food in a beautiful, well appointed restaurant. Partner had gyro platter. I had falafel platter. Everything was fresh and delicious. Priced right, too. Finding parking was challenging, though. Will be back, many, many times!

Awesome food in casual cafe atmosphere. Waitress was super friendly and told us a bit about the balloon festival in town. Even though our food took a bit longer than usual, she kept us updated and made sure we had everything we wanted when our food did arrive. Our meals were delicious -- the chicken shawarma was an unexpected treat, and the Greek fries and crispy falafel are must tries! The Greek salad was lovely and fresh, and the pickles that came with our meals tasted homemade. Everything was reasonably priced. Would absolutely come again!

Clean and beautiful restaurant with Mediterranean fair in the trendy brick light district. The waiter was very attentive to us, and one of the chefs came out to greet us. The food was just amazing. Lamb, beef, chicken kebabs all grilled to perfection. Bakery counter with fresh baklava and many other delights. Delicious bar! And that garlic sauce, you have to try it!

Restaurant setting is nice , gyro was OK, service was OK. I would for sure go back although I've had better gyros it was still a pretty good experience non the less. Desert was definitely a plus. I'd be interested to try other dishes. Good location by UNM other then the parking in the area.

The food was pleaded delicious. It's a very family warranty business. It was a lot of families that were there. The atmosphere was incredible everyone was quiet into themselves the staff they greeted us. When we walked in. The play seem like a Mediterranean food place I'm very particular about Mediterranean food. Since I traveled extensively throughout the military in but this place I give it you know out of 10 I probably give it A. The 7 point five. I like the art that they have on the walls it was pretty nice and inviting seem like a real trindy restaurant. The food was delicious if you eat buck lava. They have it. Which is the Mediterranean dessert which was fabulous.

The sampler plate was incredible and a great deal for two people to split. The hummus is amazing and love the Zia design. The rice was the best most aromatic rice ive ever had. Pita bread was served warm, the lamb shrimp and kefta were fantastic. Great service and atmosphere.

It was fine. Had lunch on Sunday. Service was a bit slow. Fattoush salad was ok but the dressing was gritty. Lentil soup was a bit watery and didn’t have a depth of flavor.

My friend and I tried this place today. It was the first time for the both of us. The front half of the restaurant has AC, but apparently, the back half is undergoing repairs to the AC so it was very hot back there. There’s also a small patio area for dining as well. My friend had the lamb wrap, and I tried the gyro wrap. The gyro wrap was good/fair, but the lamb was a different story. Chewy and fatty which isn’t a great combination for lamb. Both wraps are $13.95. There are better Mediterranean restaurants to go to, but this place is worth a visit if you’re in the area.

One of the best food experiences I've had in a very long time! The food was immaculate! The rice was out of this world! The meat was fresh!

Open for six years, but somehow I missed it until tonight. Nothing I haven’t seen before, but everything is so fresh and DONE RIGHT. I cleaned my plate. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, and the waitresses were great. I now have a new go-to restaurant when I’m in Albuquerque. If you appreciate Mediterranean cuisine, I expect you’ll love it.

Went for lunch because it was close to our offsite location. This place is clean and tidy with simple decorations. The food here is delicious. I ordered the vegetarian platter and was greeted with falafel, dolmas hummus, pita and so much more. The hummus was adorned nicely with the Zia.

It had been a while since we had found such authentic flavor, such fresh and juicy ingredients that are all true to the cuisine they advertise. The hummus tasted like it was freshly made, the tzatziki was cucumber tasting but still creamy and tart. Both the chicken and the Kafka kebabs were tender meats and flavorful. The tabouleh was even topped with pomegranate to give it just the right umami to its lime backnotes. I can truthfully say it was worth the hour drive from Santa Fe! KUDOS and share! This kind of restaurant needs to be passed recognized!!!!

Not being very adventurous, I got the mix & match kebob plate with lamb, beef, and kefta (ground beef). The meal was preceded by hummus and pita bread - I hadn't tried hummus before, so I tried it sparingly with the warm pita bread and it seemed fine. The lamb and beef were tender and juicy and perfectly medium-rare. The kefta was a little drier but had some good seasoning. I also tried the dolma - I'm not sure what I was expecting, but like I said, I'm not very adventurous.

Establishment was clean, staff was nice. Gyro was small with more salad than meat (appeared to only be 6 thin slices of meat) and served in a tortilla. For $8 it is severely overpriced, taste was very average. Not recommended.

A very good local Mediterranean restaurant. While the food was good and the atmosphere was nice, the real reason why I'm making this review is for the orange juice! They have a machine where they can produce fresh orange juice as it is ordered and it is AMAZING! Even if you don't order much else, the orange juice is to die for! We had a very nice waitress by the name of Maddi who was also doing an amazing job.

Abisheikh and the other server (we don't know her name) really go above and beyond to make your experience there pleasant and comfortable. The food is great and very attractively presented. It amazes us that this place isn't packed. Sometimes we're the only people there, sometimes there are patrons in 2-3 booths. I like it because it's quiet but they deserve to be a lot more popular. The photo is of their small hummus with bread, which is very good.

My new favorite meal in Albuquerque. I can't believe I just found out about this place! The lamb kebab was delicious and was cooked the way I requested. The rice is deliciously seasoned, and has some vegetables in it. The garlic sauce is amazing. Everything is well presented too, with additional fresh vegetables on the plate - it's beautiful! The Greek salad had a delicious dressing and was also full of many different vegetables. And the prices are VERY reasonable! I can't wait to go back! Also they have a nice patio. Our server, Curt, was the best!! Run, don't walk, to try Mazaya Cafe. Seriously!

I was greeted as I walked into the restaurant. The service was excellent. The food is some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in a long time. The lamb kabobs were delicious, the salad dressing is excellent. And did I mention the great service! The only downside is that parking is somewhat sparse in this area of Albuquerque, but the restaurant makes up for this inconvenience.
