Server was great, helped answer questions about dietary restrictions with clean knowledge and understanding. The food was delicious, well prepared. Coffee was hot, always a plus.

I saw an episode of Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins and really wanted to taste the apple pie with green hatch chiles and I finally was able to try it out! Before I talk about the pie I want to let you all know that both the service and the combination plate were excellent! Now for the pie! It came out warm with white cheddar cheese atop and a side of vanilla ice cream. The pie was well made and the flavor profile I thought would be odd but it really worked well. I was pleasantly pleased with this dessert! Different and interestingly a winner with me as I wasn’t sure if I would like the combination of ingredients! Be sure to check this eatery out when in Albuquerque NM!

Kudos to the loan server who kicked butt waiting on everyone. (Valentino?) the food was good, not great. The bear claw was fresh, the coffee average but the cappuccino tasted burnt. The blue corn and pinion pancakes and breakfast burrito (comes with potatoes) were delicious. The fish tacos have a delightful cabbage slaw. (No sides included) The green chile was flavorful without being too overpowering.

Decided to try the Range because we wanted to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the weather. The staff were very friendly and went over the menu with us. I decided on an omelette and pancakes. My food choices were awesome and delicious. I would definitely go back.

The Range Cafe was great. I made reservations days ahead but missed our time because I left my phone in the uber car. When we got there, 50 minutes late, they still sat us right away. Our food took a little while to come out but it was fine because we wasn't in a hurry and the vibe is cool. Our food was fresh. I had the regular pancake stack and my husband had this amazing omelet. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was only .5 miles from our hotel so it was a nice walk back to walk off some of those pancakes.

Ordered the Santa Fe burger and Ancho tacos, and Grilled cheese on Sourdough, all very tasty, served quickly. Fries are especially excellent. Burger is juicy and Chile makes it pop. Ancho tacos have good flavor. We picked this one at random but I was very impressed and the price was reasonable.

Great spot! We found it right after landing at the airport. Lots of creative things and artwork to look at inside. Mediterranean salad was the best I’ve ever had (and I eat a lot of salad). Homemade dressing was delish along with the feta balls! Friendly staff and excellent service. Wish I could take this place back east with me. Yum!

Great staff and great food. They pour whiskey neats very generously. The owners or managers were all over the place greeting and talking to people. Definitely top notch service here.

Really great-tasting food. I cannot recommend the blueberry pancakes enough! Soup was called stew, but really more of a chicken tortilla soup; nonetheless it was great. Burger was awesome and fries were SO crispy and yummy 🙌

9 out of 10 The Range Cafe is a great place to go for classic American diner food in New Mexico. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I recently visited their Albuquerque location and had a wonderful experience. I started my meal with the breakfast burrito, which was huge and delicious. It was filled with eggs, cheese, potatoes, and your choice of meat, and it was cooked perfectly. The chicken fried steak was also excellent. The steak was tender and juicy, and the gravy was flavorful. I also had a side of mashed potatoes and green beans, both of which were cooked perfectly. The service at the Range Cafe was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. We also appreciated that she was able to answer our questions about the menu and make recommendations. Overall, I had a great experience at the Range Cafe. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a classic American diner Delicious food Excellent service Reasonable prices Family-friendly atmosphere Multiple locations throughout New Mexico No real draw backs Can be crowded during peak timesParking can be limited at some locations look and you will find Menu can be a bit overwhelming, with a lot of options to choose but I got help Overall, I would highly recommend the Range Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable meal in New Mexico.

Food was great! Service was top notch. We sat outside to enjoy the sunshine. Portion size was large. We had to take half of our meal to go. I’ve reviewed restaurants in several Western states, and this is one of the best! I would definitely recommend this place!

The exact NM style diner we needed! Got the papas con carne (Xmas style) and a sweet potato special for breakfast. So so tasty! Fab decor, too.

Staff was amazing. Answered all sorts of questions with smiles. Super friendly. The service was very quick. The food was good, not exceptional, but good. We have had both breakfast and dinner and dinner was way more memorable.

The Mac n cheese burger was A1. Worth the trip. We also ordered the Reubens w burnt ends..it was a 1star. The few pieces of meat were jerkey like..super dry, tough. The sauce that caught my attention in the description was missing, I had to ask for it. And barely a tablespoon of saurkraut on each half. They shared they were short staffed, which is why the wait for seating and then food. But..that Mac n cheese burger covered all other shortfalls.

This was hands down the best chicken fried steak I have had in years. It is a very generous portion, perfectly battered and fried, and smothered in a delicious cream gravy. The mashed potatoes were also quite good, but it was the green beans that really shined. They were perfectly flavored, and their freshness was apparent. In addition to the wonderful meal, the service was exemplary.

We love the look and location. My wife had the green chili chicken stew. It was amazing and huge. Large pieces of chicken. I had the combo plate with beef Enchiladas in Blue corn . Blue corn crusted chili rellano and a chicken taco. The beef in the enchiladas is great well seasoned and large pieces like Carne Asada. I did Christmas sauce Red/Green chili. Very good as well. Loved the green chili Mexican rice. The beans did not really have any flavor. Had the chips and all 3 as the appetizer. Guacamole/queso/salsa with green chili. All were great. The chips are fresh and hot with some blue corn chips added in. We will be back. Fyi the cup of soup was huge. The bowl the chips came in is the large bowl for the soup

This is the former Standard Diner in a repurposed gas service station. They kept the Standard Diner's meatloaf that Guy Fieri raved about on Triple D. It was very good and so were the shrimp tacos. Nice atmosphere and busy but good service.

Great local chain of cafes! This example in downtown is especially nice with well appointed dining and bar areas and ample outdoor seating. Many options available from bar seats, bar height tables, standard height tables, and booths. Their menu is diverse but not overly cumbersome. They offer just the right amount and mix of curated dishes for everyone’s taste. Service is fast, cordial, and efficient. I ordered an old fashioned cocktail and a water. It was a wonderful surprise and a nice touch as the glass of water arrived without ice but still cold. The cocktail was mixed to perfection. For dinner I had the BCB Burger with fries. This sandwich is huge! Fried onions, BBQ sauce, rich cheddar slices, red onion, lettuce, and tomato. Served alongside fries and pickle slices, it hit the spot was certainly filling. All around, this was a nice, quiet place to grab a bite!

Saw this place on DDD so had to try while in Albuquerque! Waitress recommended the bacon wrapped meat loaf and coconut chocolate cream pie! Meatloaf was good and cooked perfectly! The mashed potatoes were mashed, but not too creamy, and complimented the meatloaf well! The veggies were nicely done as well. The coconut chocolate cream pie was creamy with a flakey crust. Not too sweet, but definitely a nice ending to a meal. I was not overly impressed with the drinks, but I'm not a big drinker either!

Wow we just happened to get lucky and find this place. I usually look for DDD spots and missed this one. We split the Biscuits and Gravy Deluxe, so very good. 2 biscuits, 2 bacon, they said 2 eggs (but it was 3+), and really good potatoes. Definitely a place to try for lunch or dinner, as some of those dishes looked incredible too. We will be back

Went to the downtown location for the first time today and it was awesome. The overall atmosphere was great, and service was also just as great. Prices on food, like everywhere else, have gone up a tad, but trust me, with this food it’s completely worth paying the extra dollar or two. I had the Biscuits and Gravy while my fellow diner had the Lobo Club, both extremely delicious. Go for the chocolate coconut cream pie if you’re looking for some indulgence! Definitely will be back.
