It doesn't stand out much when you walk past, but when you have food allergies, you must go in. YOU GO IN -- YES YOU DO. Having food allergies, allergic to soy, gluten, and sesame, I thought I'd never be able to go somewhere and get ramen... but after talking to their very kind and accommodating staff, O Ramen immediately became my #1 favorite spot in all of New Mexico! I would eat here every day if we lived here. Not only was my meal safe, it was so delicious!! I got the the naked fries and chicken not gluten (gluten free) ramen, and I couldn't get enough! My 2022 New Years resolution is to eat here & support this sweet spot as much as financially possible.

Honestly, we thought we found the Naruto Ramen shop when we arrived, and so did others stopping in (they were wearing Naruto shirts!). However, we didn’t realize Naruto was actually, literally, another two doors down the street until after we'd ordered.. How did we miss that you may ask? Because the shop has the word "RAMEN" over the door with a Naruto-like, brushstroke circle for their emblem.. And, why would another ramen shop be two doors away? Anyway, the service staff were friendly yet overwhelmed and, therefore, slow. The prices weren't terrible though, and the food was tasty!

Decent menu. Well thought out dishes. Service is pretty good. And it's got that university Japanese ramen vibe to it.

A mushroom-based broth with ginger and ramen noodle (or rice noodles if you want it Gluten-Free), can be ordered with veggies, steamed tofu, or both. Pick a spice level from 1 to 5, and you'll be served a massive bowl of mostly noodles and veggies (which came on the side - I put them in for the photo), and not a whole lot of broth, which was nice. A few chairs plus a sushi style bar.. owners are Japanese.. this place is legit. The menu is small yet has two vegan options, which is awesome.

I frequently visit this place and recommend it to others. It seems like they give you less food now and I had to ask the waitress for utensils and a refill. They serve the food quickly and can seat you if you have a small party.

I love this place. Been here like four times and never disappoints. Basically, ramen is served here and it is awesome, especially on a cold night like tonight. The place is not fancy and they have an open kitchen with excellent service.

This restaurant serves delicious hearty Japanese ramen soups, gyoza, and curry. It's absolutely amazing with excellent customer service (even when they are completely packed, and believe me, they usually always are)! Don't just take my word for it, go visit and enjoy yourself! Easy parking behind the building with fun murals. I wish they had a second location near the Westside!

We’re on a family road trip and we are in Albaquerque to rest for the night and stay at a hotel. My wife wanted ramen and she found this ramen shop while browsing somewhere along I40 We loved it. The tonkatsu curry was AMAZING. It was so thick and flavorful. I couldn’t figure out the ingredients they mixed with the curry, I had to ask the nice lady who was helping us and she said they add sweet potatoes and carrots to the curry! It was SOOOOO GOOD we also had the deluxe ramen and it was delicious When we go thru Albuquerque, we’re definitely going here again

The tonkotsu ramen is underwhelming. The size of the bowl is awkward, and doesn't compliment the portion at all. As for the broth it tastes like it came from a box, and for the pork they.. put a grocery store bacon strip in the center... Not impressed. The aesthetic of the restaurant is more appetizing than the ramen.

Super delicious! I had the veggie ramen with 5 star spice & my buddy had the chicken curry with 1.5 star spice; everything was super tastey!

Pretty disappointing experience. 30 min wait only to be served undercooked chashu and less noodles than the bowl should have. Overall not a good experience. Wait staff seemed unable to handle the rush.

Honestly, I had high expectations. The noodles felt like instant ramen, the broth was very bland hardly any strong taste. The pork was very tough. The green tea dessert 10/10.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I was in a party of 3 at 530 pm on a Friday. The restaurant was extremely busy! We ordered some sake for the table, an appetizer, and three entrees. I had the chicken curry. I had never had Japanese curry. I thought the sauce for the curry was really flavorful! The appetizer was a ball of flavor that exploded in my mouth. The only issue with the meal was that the appetizer came out with the meal. The appetizer was very hot, well displayed and garnished. I recommend this restaurant and I look forward to visiting again.

So basically, food came but the broth was mild with cold item such as the mushrooms and egg. It didn’t really go blend with the rest of the ramen. I asked if they can nuke the soup for me. Got my ramen back it was a little better. The servers on the other hand, attention to always fill you drink but won’t remember the appetizer you order and the only reason why I come is for edamame. But unfortunately I didn’t get it. I’ll change my rating when I get the courage to come back for the edamame and maybe some decent ramen

Quick and inexpensive ramen joint. The Pork Chashu cuts are quite generous. The extra-spicy broth is reasonably spicy, so be careful. Kirin Ichiban and Sapporo on tap are $4/pint. Friendly and attentive waitstaff.

One of several noodle places directly across from the university. O Ramen is one of the few that has gluten-free options available. Food is great, and portion sizes are quite large, especially for the price. The atmosphere is nice with dark wood decor. Our waiter was fairly attentive, but also didn't seem very personable (they weren't into any extra chatting). Overall, it was a really good experience, and we would love to try other items on the menu.

Best ramen in the city. Whether you’re sitting down there or even take out, O’Ramen does a stellar job. I recommend above anywhere else. Personally, the crispy chicken is my favorite, but every deluxe bowl I’ve had has been exceptionally tasty.

The food is good. I found that I am not much for ramen. I will not let that dampen my review because I don't think it's the restaurant's fault. The ramen was a little cold and so were some of the ingredients. Not sure if that's a normal thing. There was not enough ramen to counter the other ingredients and the ramen was overshadowed by the picked ginger. The chicken goyza was pretty good. We had some fried tofu that was really good. Now as for service we got in, someone seated us. Then we waited for drinks and for someone to get us something to drink. We were seated right next to the kitchen. And with that said we didn't get a refill till we got the check and we're about to leave.

This was my first time eating Ramen. I brought my wife out for her bday. My food was really good. We both enjoyed what we had for the most part. However our sever wasn't the best by any means. He seemed to be too worried/interested in what seems to be his "regulars"... He didn't write anything down which is usually a red flag for me. Of course he forgot 2 things from our order. I had to ask for my appetizer as I was about to finish my entree and we never got a refill. All in all the restaurant suffered a bad review due to one server.

this place would be better but, there are staff here that make in unenjoyable not all but the ones looking over and talking about me and my friend because we sat at two separate tables. The waitress had a dirty look on her face the entire time we were here (probably having a bad day) but dropped off the menus on one table, didn’t acknowledge us or mention the table issue. The tables are small and I’m 6’5. I explained we did that because we have little room with one of us. my knees were touching the underside of it. i would of understood more if the place was packed but it was 11:00am and i figured they would get busy but no. It was a power move in my opinion and they made it obvious. the guy they sent over to tell us was cool and said he understood but clearly wasn’t the decision maker. This place must not regard the customer, i mean who would? it’s not like customers are the reason they’re still open right? this happened while i was eating. a group of 5 come in. they put two tables together and pull up a chair for the fifth. as if there is enough for two as it is. be better people. FOOD wise, it was super bad. the noodles and broth were good, the mushrooms had no flavor, the braised pork was a chicharron and had no flavor, egg was not seasoned like tea eggs are supposes to be and finally the ginger tasted like soap so i couldn’t eat it all. everything is cut small to appear like good portions but for the price, this is what you get.

Got the Deluxe Tofu and the Tonkotsu. Both were amazing. We got the level 5 spice and it wasn’t as hot as I thought. If you are used to eating spicy food then you should be fine. The tofu was bartered and fried and the broth was very creamy. Be prepared for some wait times during busy hours.

We walked in on a Friday night, and the place seemed very popular, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and everyone there seemed to be enjoying their food. We ordered takeout, and the food was absolutely delicious and very filling. Next time, I would like to sit down for a meal here, the atmosphere was very lovely!

This a pretty cool Ramen joint. Definitely worth a try. Our waiter was really nice, and they were quick attending to us. We got edamame which were tasty and they give you a lot for the price. We got sake, if you like sake, it was probably delicious. But if you’re not really an alcohol person, you could probably skip it. Again, a good amount given for the price though. We tried a plum one and the crazy milk. They both had a lot of flavor. I got the Tonkatsu, pork belly ramen. It was good, the pork belly was a little tough, and the broth could use some more flavor. BUT that all said, it was actually pretty good ramen, the noodles were good. I got spice level 2 and it was a low-medium spice. My hubby got the chicken ramen. He said it was really good, got a 3 spice level and he said that really made it. I tried his chicken broth which was better than the pork. We also got mochi ice cream, strawberry and green tea which was really yummy! Definitely worth another try!

The servers were very friendly and helpful with our questions about the menu. We tried the ninja fries with nori which was an interesting experience plus chicken curry, chicken ramen and deluxe ramen. All in all it was a nice dinner.

Delicious food! Recommended for anyone who enjoys fancy noodles. Or want to try something new. Always good service. Friendly environment. Small area, not alot of tables. When busy, there can be a bit of a wait. But it's definitely worth the wait.

The Ramen is always fresh and delicious. My favorite add on include an extra Ramen egg and garlic. The curry was also good, I believe it is Golden Curry brand. Ramen displayed (photo) - Shoyu with chicken/pork Curry level 2 spicy with chicken
