This Golden Corral is different from any other ones. It's huge, double the size, and very clean. I really enjoyed their grilled chicken liver with onion and corn on the cob. Some other dishes I tried, and it was a little bit salty to me. I definitely recommend to eat here if you like buffet style. Paid $16 for lunch with soda drink.

This buffet was fresh, the scrambled eggs were moist, the bacon mouth watering, the selection was wonderful! The staff was gracious and overall service was great! We will likely make it one of our "go to" places to eat when we finally get relocated out here!

Fathers day 2023. Staff; Polite and helpful. Food; well, it's a buffet. Might try a little harder with dessert, and everything is over seasoned. Back off on the MSG, I was sick for days after the visit. Still the food was enjoyable. Atmosphere; they began cleaning while the restaurant was still, at least, half full. A chemical they were using may have caused a terrible allergy to everyone at our table. Runny eyes and sniffles. The chemical scent, I suspect, made many folks flee and caused health issues to the guests and the staff. Again, the staff was wonderful, from entrance to exit. Management, you can do better!

Everything was great food was delicious and it’s a very family atmosphere Would have been 5 starts except our server Serenity was very rude from to our table from the beginning. We thought our ticket was at the other table, when it was actually with us. Instead of being patient with us to find it she came of as rude demanding that we “go pay” I’ve been a server for almost 10 years and never felt the need to treat my customers as such. I never have felt so belittled in a restaurant.

This buffet is usually very busy from opening until close time. The food variety is basically the same every week, yet they do have enough for everyone of all ages to leave happy. Their Senior/Military discount could be higher though is still appreciated. One caviat I have is the oil they fry their chicken in. Often the fried chicken has a slight burnt aftertaste (looks normal though) and has me feeling woozy or running to the bathroom to clear out. Otherwise the rest of their foods are A-okay!

One of best buffet option in Albequerque. A lot of varieties and perfect taste. Peak hour buffet like lunch on weekend and dinner on weekday is 15.39$ per pax

Convenient location. Prices a little steep(especially if you have a large family). They stayed pretty busy with customers coming and going but kept refreshing the food bars. Our waitress checked on us frequently and acted like she was happy to be at work.

Went for lunch the other day because we haven't been here in a really long time. Lunch time they really don't have much to choose from. Chicken was good 🤷‍♀️, our waitress was very nice clearing our dishes, refilling our drinks, checking on us a lot. It atmosphere was great because we were with the older crowd so it was mellow and quite lol. Dinner time they probably have more food to choose from but all in all it was an okay experience to come back and give it a try again.

Came in at around 6 with my wife and daughter. When I came in the lady was a bit rude as if she did not like her job at all. Why work here if you don't like it? We went to a open table, and went to get our food, the lady at the front that didn't like being there never gave us any utensils I had to walk around and find someone to get us some. While we start eating we find out the drinks we got were watered down. Mind you this is Halloween, a day where many families go out to eat before they go have some fun. This location has a lot of issue that needs to be addressed. The guy that helped me Mario I believe was a cool guy and helped us. As I don't carry cash I couldn't tip. It's sad, there's few buffets in Albuquerque and many have died due to mismanagemen. When I come again I hope everything gets better.

With no Casino buffets this is your best option Affordable prices, good selection of food, fast and friendly service. Came to see a friend. Great food, dessert. The food is fresh and hot. I have to come back again. Very clean place. This was my first time at this location.

Was NOT happy about eating here because I think of cafeteria food😣, my husband talked me into it, first time ever and it was actually not bad at all. You can choose healthy food or comfort food. I think I might just be back🤷. Had pasta that tasted like my grandma used to make me.

I used to love this place so I was able to convince my wife to allow us to give them a chance. Unfortunately 4 times is all we could stand. You have to request dinner rolls (which are great by the way). But there can be 5 people behind the counter and you practically have to yell to get there attention and then they don't want to help you. I had to track a manager down one evening (which was 2 hours before they closed) to have him jump behind the counter because no one was serving the meat. In my opinion skip both locations in Albuquerque and maybe when you see Golden Corral in another location try them. Albuquerque has lost a great fan of Golden Corral.

We were there on Father's Day after church. I'm sure it's one of their biggest Sundays of the year. They were serving steak and it was great. Even though the place was packed, there was plenty of wait staff to take care of everybody. Because there were so many people, the food kept coming out so everything was hot and fresh. I ate so much I didn't have room for dessert. Next time I go back I'll have to get two desserts to make up for it.

Let me start by saying I am not a picky eater and have been to other golden corral locations. This location is not even close. On the positive side the steak, fried fish, seafood salad and BBQ pork were very good that's were the one star comes from. It seemed like they couldn't replenish the food in a timely manner so half the food was missing or empty. There were no signs to tell you what you were eating unless it was a new offering. A mine field for those with food allergies. Except for the above mentioned foods all other offerings were either unappetizing or inedible including most of the desserts. We will not be coming back ever! Final note our server was the only thing 5 star at this location.!

We went to Golden Corral, for Easter Sunday. I will give anyone a (FIVE), when the manager is on the floor, running BUNS to guest. Also, I was thinking before we showed, "WE" we had 13 in our group. They planned ahead because, they had two cooks. Cooking the meat. Okay, sometimes you may have a minute wait, or perhaps, no wait. That being said, the two cooks, had about 40 plus steaks, from medium rare to well done. The wait was, as fast as you could hold your plate, to get served. The restroom was clean, as well as the restaurant. Also, the server we had was fast, and amazing, keeping pace with a full house. Keep up the great job, and in this case, the restaurant manager, planned ahead. Good job!!!

Eat here at least once a month. Usually great . My wife, 3 kids and I were there for over an hour and no one came to clear plates or refill the drinks. I asked the server by us and she stated we were not her table and I asked if she knew who was and she said she didn't. I don't know if they were shorthanded or what but sucked not having a refill on drinks and the table loaded with our plates. Food was amazing though.

I like the Corral. Everything they make is made just the way I like it. We have celebrated holidays and family occasions here and everyone gives them a thumbs-up every time. Management and staff are always top notch. Remember, this is a buffet style restaurant, not a full service restaurant. The buffet is open for as many trips back as you desire. Someone who expects tartar sauce and extra slices of ham to be delivered to their table is in the wrong restaurant. But they are always welcome nonetheless. Emma and Terry run a tight ship and it shows in the smiles of the staff. A manager is almost always available on the floor to help as they can. For consistency and value for the dollar spent, I believe the Golden Corral is my favorite restaurant. I have been eating at the GC since they were at the Montgomery and Wyoming location. And their hot rolls are the best. Thanks Terry. FIVE STARS +.

Service is good. The entrance line was long but moving with good efficiency. Waiter took good care of our table. Steaks were all a bit rare, even the well done steaks, but I didn't mind. Good variety of food and a big salad bar.

Meat dishes were lacking. The BBQ chicken and meatloaf needed to be replenished but sat empty for too long. The carving station was vacant, so although ham sat at the station, no one was serving. The pulled pork was swimming in juice and didn't look appetizing. Deserts were mediocre. The bread pudding I thought was too heavy on cinnamon and too light on vanilla. My server seemed overwhelmed. I went to the server myself to get a drink because my server didn't bring me one.

It's a buffet. Very ok food, and a lot of it. The selection is weak compared to years past. Corn on the cob, stuffing, fries, and pork beans at 3 different stations! Trouble keeping up with demand is normal. Especially for main entrees, hope you like filling up on sides because they go fast when they do finally come out. Table servers are always polite and on the move. You'll see them constantly picking up dishes and refilling drinks. Parking is adequate. Nothing fancy. Find a spot, park, and walk in. Wheelchairs can move through with ease during non-rush hours. Men's bathroom is a disaster. Every time I'm here I feel like they wait until closing to actually clean it. I can't remember a time at this location without the floors needing to be mopped, and toilets cleaned. Vomit on the wall is crusted, so you know it's been there a while. I'd rather use a port-a-potty.

"Golden Corral", better known by its workers as "Slave Corral". This place LOVES Mexican workforce since they do most of the job and can get away with paying them less than ex-convicts working at the same place. They also claim to be part time (even tho they'll schedule you 7 days a week if you don't talk back) so most of the workers lack any healthcare or insurance for that matter. They think they are fooling them but everybody is aware of the power dynamics playing out at this place. If you love food made by people starving because they do not get breaks unless they remember their workers are human beings, you are welcome. Not everything sucks tho, Emma is the best manager around, and most of the workers are wonderful people. If you're planing on going, enjoy your visit and take it easy on the workers, they don't get paid enough to owe a better job.

The time that we visited was on a weekend and during lunch. I think because it was lunchtime it was so busy that there was certain main lunch items that were gone and I had to wait on Fried Shrimp and the Meat Loaf. But other then having to wait a bit for certain items everything was good and the service we good. Drinks were refilled timely so it was enjoyable.

The restaurant had a very good selection of food items. A good variety of salad and salad items, Meats, fish, desserts and a lot more. Was a little busy when ate there for dinner but was good with being able to select the food items one wanted to eat. With the desserts, they were out of one of the items and when asked about it was told they would bring some more out but they did not. What was brought was one of the other dessert items which needed to be refilled also

We enjoyed many visits, but got sick twice in a month. On last Thursday we ate there. Friday morning I woke up with a splitting headache, which lasted at least 4 days even though I don’t get headaches often and race bikes. My digestive system was mostly OK. It wasn’t due to bad meat or undercooked meat as far as I could tell. My daughter had the exact same symptoms. It happened 2-3 weeks before after going there but it wasn’t as severe. Luckily I was on summer vacation. In our minds there was no question we consumed something there. We couldn’t pinpoint what. Even if there were a lot of positive things going on, we can’t afford to go through these kinds of knockout experiences: feeling sensitive in spots in the brain for days. I went to the refrigerator to get milk at night and woke up on the kitchen floor. Highly unusual as far as we’re concerned.
